Hello to everyone,
This is a quick note as I am still traveling homeward. The conference was over the top wonderful. Being with and meeting others (again or for the first time in person) was so emotional. That is worth the trip alone. If ya haven't been to a conference please try to come to next year. I will start saving when I get home for next year. They are only getting better and better! The friends I have made are life-long and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
Here are a few highlights: Dr. Wymore reported that an agrobacteria study DID NOT significantly reveal agro as a prime vector. Dr. Stricker said that Dr. Vitaly had applied for a grant to further research agro findings, but was turned down.
Dr. Wymore had problems getting a lab to accept Morgellons specimens for the "shotgun DNA" analysis. Seems that these labs did not want to expose their employees! He succeeded in locating a lab and has sent these specimens off about 2 weeks ago. He is in high hopes that preliminary reports may be in soon.
CDC issues: the BSC, CCID advisory counsel meets 2 x year. The next meeting is in May and it is felt that the big announcement will be then. I called the CDC today and the meeting is May 19 and 20 in Atlanta, Ga. Any one for a road trip? This should be our next rally. I'm game and getting my tires dusted off and window washed for the trip.
Joni Mitchell sent a message to everyone. Please read her song lyrics "Sire of Sorrow" which she dedicated to Morgellons patients everywhere.
Well, I am just worn out. I have to rest a bit before getting onward toward Memphis. I'll stop on the way and try to check in, again.
Love and prayers to all, Sunny ;D

That's so great sunny... thanks for letting us know! Lookin forward to the end of May now too! Got the lyrics for us... and thank you so very much Joni!
The Sire Of Sorrow (Job's Sad Song) by Joni Mitchell
Let me speak let me spit out my bitterness Born of grief and nights without sleep and festering flesh Do you have eyes? Can you see like mankind sees? Why have you soured and curdled me? Oh you tireless watcher! What have I done to you? That you make everything I dread and everything I fear come true?
Once I was blessed; I was awaited like the rain Like eyes for the blind, like feet for the lame Kings heard my words, and they sought out my company But now the janitors of Shadowland flick their brooms at me Oh you tireless watcher! What have I done to you? that you make everything I dread and everything I fear come true?
(Antagonists: Man is the sire of sorrow) I've lost all taste for life I'm all complaints Tell me why do you starve the faithful? Why do you crucify the saints? And you let the wicked prosper You let their children frisk like deer And my loves are dead or dying, or they don't come near (Antagonists: We don't despise your chastening God is correcting you)
Oh and look who comes to counsel my deep distress Oh, these pompous physicians What carelessness! (Antagonists: Oh all this ranting all this wind Filling our ears with trash) Breathtaking ignorance adding insult to injury! they come blaming and shaming (Antagonists: Evil doer) And shattering me (Antagonists: This vain man wishes to seem wise A man born of asses) Oh you tireless watcher! What have I done to you? That you make everything I dread and everything I fear come true?
(Antagonists: We don't despise your chastening) Already on a bed of sighs and screams And still you torture me with visions You give me terrifying dreams! Better I was carried from the womb straight to the grave I see the diggers waiting, they're leaning on their spades
(Antagonists: Man is the sire of sorrow Sure as the sparks ascend) Where is hope while you're wondering what went wrong? Why give me light and then this dark without a dawn? (Antagonists: Evil is sweet in your mouth Hiding under your tongue) Show your face! (Antagonists: What a long fall from grace) Help me understand! What is the reason for your heavy hand? (Antagonists: You're stumbling in shadows You have no name now) Was it the sins of my youth? What have I done to you? That you make everything I dread and everything I fear come true? (Antagonists: Oh your guilt must weigh so greatly) Everything I dread and everything I fear come true (Antagonists: Man is the sire of sorrow) Oh you make everything I dread and everything I fear come true

Thanks Sunny for the info, We've been anxious to hear any Conference news. Scary that labs wont accept Dr Wymore's samples. They've sequenced hanta virus, ebola, monkey pox, flesh eating bacteria... and they're afraid of THIS! That only reinforces my worst fears, that this is one hellacious infection! Any mention at all of Dr. Harvey's DNA sequencing of the nematode-like parasitoid form? That's been "pending" since at least Feb. of 07 when I saw an LLMD who said news info should be avail. "soon," and still the band plays on! Is there any real ground-swell for an Atlanta rally for the BSC-CCID Advisory Meeting. Is there a way we can find out the agenda, if a Morg update, I mean a EAL update is even anticipated? CDC is, after all a PUBLIC health agency, so shouldnt their agenda be public? To pull something together that's organized, including coverage from national media (which is key in my mind) would be a tough challenge in the time avail., but with the energy & intelligence here & a few other boards, it could be done. Was there any disc. of this at the Conf? What's the feeling out there? I , and perhaps many others have despaired of any meaningful info from CDC. Their inaction, stalls and denials smack of complicity in what increasingly looks and smells likes a wide-spread, sanctioned cover-up, likely of genetic engineering (GMO crops, pesticides, nano tech, biowarfare) gone amuck. I genuinely believe they have massive liability exposure and expect that someday we will be able to sue the asses off and own the assets of anyone who knew what these infections are and failed to act on behalf of public health, which is their express mandate! I onmly hope I live long enough to see it through! Thanks Nanners for Joni's sad/mad lyrics. The song makes me want to cry. She excoriates "the man" like no one else can! Her "Blue" album was THE breakup music for my generation. Now we're crying again, in enraged pain! THIS SUCKS in soooo many ways! What the hell is wrong with this country and the people who are allowing such suffering to continue. What the hell is wrong with US people, that we ARENT all rioting in the streets over this travesty! I am just so damn sick of being so damn sick, with such outrageous medical abuse heaped on top of the considerable horror if this illness! Forgive the rant...but it's from the heart! Sunny, We do appreciate your news and look forward to more. The rest of us...is it time to take it to the streets? waldenflo

sunny yes a road trip is in order. been thinking/plotting about getting some people together to go "encourage" the cdc to release their information. we need 50 people to commit or we are wasting our time. i'm going to the tampa support group meeting on april 11 to try and drum up some support . we really need neighboring states to pitch in. heck its hard to get any atlanta people out there. don't y'all make me get my mama and daddy out there again. mama is too sick to be doing this kinda stuff but she will if i ask her to. its time to put the screws to em people. sure wish i knew what they are going to come out with so we could plan accordingly

Here is a link called "Song Meanings".
At the end of the Lyrics, people are commenting on what they think the song is about..
Nobody has mentioned Morgellons.
Perhaps we could/should comment?
Original Release Date: October 25, 1994
The album called: Turbulent Indigo www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/3530822107858643072/Here is the FIRST comment from 2007: "So I know this song is supposed to be Job's argument with God. That aside Whenever I feel like I've been tossed a raw deal, I listen to this song. Joni puts not only her heart on her sleeve, but the hearts of everyone who hears her. This is an example of that work. "

Thanks for all the links guys... I had no luck finding it on You Tube either. But I was browsing around and saw this pic of Joni... Does she have a cig in her hand? Don't tell me she smokes too... sure seems like alot of us here do. Makes me wonder if cigs might ignite morgs even more. hugs ~~ bannanny

Hi Sunny,
I was reading this morn on another board at some comments about what all was said in regards to this comment you posted, and it's brought up some logical questions in my mind too.
Actually a couple.
Over 3 years ago, when the agrobacterium was "found" in the Morgies tested - and further study was turned down, (as you posted) has there been "more recent study" done - do you know?
Because the way this reads, is as though this is "new news". And if there is on this subject (then it is me who's in the dark).
If not, this is over 3 years ago news.
And much can take place in 3 yrs time, if the study was continued, but if not...well, truthfully, this is old news without substantial information to continue this path (of old comments made)-being that this subject never was closed - (further study to evaluate the significance or not) (has never been established).
Imho, it's no different than a doctor telling me 3 years ago, there's no such thing as Morgellons. A lot has taken place in the last several years in regards just to the name (Morgellons) being that it's now acknowledged whereas it wasn't.
I guess what I'm wondering is simple. If no further study (other than over 3 years ago) was done, how can such a point (comment) be continued *today* being that it was found in the Morgies tested - and over 3 years ago at that?
I know you can't answer for Dr. Wymore, and I'm certainly not directing Dr. Wymores comments towards you, but I am asking since you're the one reporting this info. That to me is only logical.
And thank you, I hope you're able to help with some questions that Dr. Wymore's comments have generated.
I revised today in Pink lettering, because after re-reading my post from the other day, (it wasn't reading as specific as I needed it to).

Dr. Wymore reported that an agrobacteria study DID NOT significantly reveal agro as a prime vector.
Dr. Stricker said that Dr. Vitaly had applied for a grant to further research agro findings, but was turned down. Toni's questions brought up even more questions regarding the conference information posted by Sunny. I worked with Mark Darrah while he was researching morgellons at Stony Brook University. Professor Vitaly Citovsky (Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology) at Stony Brook University was contacted for clarification. Professor Vitaly Citovsky gave me permission to share his statement in regards to Sunny's post above:
"Not true. I have not applied for any grants related to MORGELLONS."

"Not true. I have not applied for any grants related to MORGELLONS." WHOA! The "word" has been that Dr. Citovsky applied for Grant money to do a further study regarding any role Agrobacterium plays in Morgellons Disease and that Dr. Citovsky was "turned down." That "rumor" has been believed as factual information for three years..more or less. KMarie, are you now saying you have recently spoken with Dr. Citovsky and that rumor was simply a rumor? This just tears me up because "everyone" believed that to be the case. Another thing that really gets under my skin is WHY was Mark Darrah suddenly "booted out" of SUNY at Stony Brook? He'd been using their lab facilities with their blessing or so I believed, then suddenly everything changed and he was unable to use the facilities. I swear I never did understand that. We'll probably never know the truth of it, but it sure seems that Mark suddenly became a liability rather than an asset! Who was responsible? Any clues?

All that ever matters is the truth. Rumors should never be believed or spread.
The truth is that today (March 31, 2010), when Dr. Vitaly Citovsky was asked about grants for Morgellons, he replied:
"Not true. I have not applied for any grants related to MORGELLONS."

One more thing Dr. Vitaly Citovsky said that he doesn't know why he is still listed as being on the the "Scientific Advisory Panel" at www.thenmo.org (The Charles Holman Foundation/NMO) because he no longer researches morgellons at all.

Doesn't it all just get curioser and curioser. The he said, she said stuff drives me crazy, especially when so much of what I personally believed turned out to be fantasy. Nuts. Nuts. Nuts.
I am so sick of crap filled rumors and outright lies I could barf.
Incidentally, when I questioned why Mark Darrah got booted out of SUNY, that was not a "dig." Mark is a sweet, handsome, smart young man whose own mom suffers "Morgellons," so obviously he would do ANYTHING to help his mother.

One more Beef then I'm finished for now.
If the Agrobacterium wasn't/isn't important then why did "we" think it WAS?
Why is because they continued to test people and far as I know (correct me someone if I'm wrong) everyone tested positive via mouth swabs and maybe even via specimens from their skin, although after three years and lots of new stuff filling my head, I had to let some of the old stuff go to make room for the new.
Reminds me of the current Mold and Fungus issue.
Red hot topic, oh yes, let's all do it and then those who had the opportunity waffled.
Let's see now, what's the score? How many theories or actual findings went to hell in a handbasket? Somebody lose interest? More fun and creative to think of the bizarre stuff?
Sheesh!
They're coming to take me away...ha ha!

Sid, I HEAR you sweetie. When I taught preschool kids w/ special needs, we had a kid with a severe speech disorder in our class. He had been standing at a table trying to put together a puzzle that was frustrating him well beyond his ability to express verbally...or so we thought. After trying and trying to get the last few pieces in, he finally threw them in the air and spat out a disgusted and perfectly inflected, "Wha fa FA!" That's my mantra since getting Morgellons, "Wha fa FA!" We've definitely fallen into a rabbit hole, or better yet, a worm hole, a quantum warp, a-link to another universe! Yeah, that's it... this IS alien abduction! Wha fa FA! Who CAN we believe, anymore! Why is this SUCH a bizarre story, EVERY ASPECT OF IT! Wha fa FA is going on here? ? Flo
