Yep... looks like soooooooo many of my morg pics! I have a strong feeling that Bacillus will eventually show as a major role playing bacteria in morgs. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what the good old CDC says tho... but I've thought it's in the mix for a loooong time now myself. That's why I tried to get Dr. Mendelson involved with us, remember? Seemed to me he became very leery of doing that tho, when at first, he seemed very interested. Just goes to show yet again how hard it is to get anyone involved who could make a difference.
Sorry, don't mean to sound all negative... it must be this stupid cycle I'm in again trying to break me down!! Not gonna let it tho... so it's time to go fight me some crime!!! Dum da da dum!!!!!

Yep Bannanny, I sure do remember Mendelson and the bacillus subtilis.
What's interesting, is this one here that grows from 1/4" to that major cottony mess in 14 hrs too is Bacillus Mycoides.
I don't know what the difference really is, (besides the names)...but Bacillus Subtilis also has an incredible fast growth rate too.
