I almost feel bad for saying this since I know how people suffer so due to the itching alone, but I have little to none. Once in a while I'll get a sharp pinpointed sting which itches. Almost like a deep-seated itch far below skin surface. Nor do I experience the crawling feeling that most seem to (all though I have felt it in past but never to a bothersome degree). However, I have a ton of movement... it's all internal though.
Sores for me, did not start appearing for several months after I knew something was up with my body... health... in a very wrong way. But even when they started appearing I thought was acne from the stress of feeling so sick. I thought it was odd that I started to have acne at 33, but it was my least concerning symptom compared to the fatigue, swelling, numbness, haziness, electric surge-like static feelings.
I noticed that the sores were not like typical acne, they had no infection or puss and they took forever to heal. And they were bigger in size and left a scar and some started as a hard nodule. There still weren't too many then. The majority started on my scalp. I went to doc and she said "seborhic cysts" and told me to wash my hair with Hibiclens. It worked. After that is when they started appearing more rampantly on many areas of my body (so faar it's never been on my scalp again). I remember they also had an unusual pinkish/orange color about them. <--- fungal???
But yes... the sores have increased with time. I hardly resemble the same girl I was only 2 years ago. Andd while I'm thankful to be alive after being so sure this would have killed me by now and how I look should be irrelevant... I see old photos and want to cry. What happened???...

I didn't get the non-healing lesions until a year into this hell. I got them to heal by dissolving the tough top with wart meds.
I would say, yes, when you get the lesions things are getting worse. For me, I think it was because I had slacked up on taking daily salt baths. Now I have about 12 scars to remind me to not loosen up on my therapies.

I dont have too many lesions but lots of tiny bumps and also tiny waart things that turn bright white like the white stuff coming out of my pores. I do have little sores everwhere but they are more like bites maybe. My itching is not so bad except after showers and I think someone else mentoned that once. They said they cleaned up ever day but waited 3 weeks for shower and were much better. I also take a anxeity pill so that might help to not feel the itch so bad. It seems the crawling under skin gets bad in late after noon and I see my veins popping out. Im so sorry for everone here who is so bad I want to help but dont know how.

I only got the sores in the beginning on my scalp. Im not sure what healed them, I was always trying new things but they have never come back and its almost been 5 years. The time of the sores was the worst this has ever been, Im about 80 or 90 percent better now. I guess this effects us all differently Frisk

Dear C, I have gone with out them for awhile and then they return. I have several now. My scalp is the worst. Then My hands.
Everyone says that they either have them, had them and they are healed for now, or haven't gotten any yet. I think back years ago and believe I had broke out many times, just not realizing what it was, it the 1980's. It was blamed on stress then in my case. Take care Always, ebgb

It has been progressive, in my case.I started heving lesions on my head that come and go, in 1986. In 2001, the lesions started up my anlkes, and spread all over. They were so serious, I almost died from Sepsis in 2003, and suffered Respiratory and Heart Failure. The lesions have never completely healed.I was in ICU 9 days, CCU 6 weeks, and a Nursing Home for wound care 2 months, followed by many months of home nursing. Dr. George Schwartz accurately described the 4 different stages of this disease I have lived though, in his "Definative Treatment Guide For Morgellons or Fiber Disease". I believe that this illness is not only progressive, but fatal, if not treated adequately and appropriately. I hope this is a satisfactory answer to your question. Love, Flowerchild

I have 2. sores that have "healed" on my torso arms and legs in that they no longer ooze etc..... 3. Occassional worms outta my feet - mainly right 4. the darn hair worms which i always catch on the way out the door if not when styling my hair ( and I SUCK as a hairstylist) .... the hair ones seem to be the most active alive thing on my body. 5. There are stabbing literally stabbing organisms in my house still. That is odd and I would love to id the cause vs the fibers on a rug etc. 6. My nose still has sores inside. weird xoxo and take care all and read the damn poem i posted and think positive!!!!!!! xoxoxoxoox c'est la vie

CLV,
I also have the stabbing ones, usually the stabbing is in the region of the lower legs and ankles. I can pretty much control this by spraying natural insect repellant on my lower legs everyday. If I forget I get the stabs. Also spraying the carpeting lightly with cedar oil spray helps. These things also float around in the air. I have a big plastic spray bottle that is one quarter water and three quarters Everclear Grain Alcohol that I added grapefruit seed extract to, also added lavender and teatree essential oils. This makes a great spray to clear the floaters out of the air, also like to spray my sheets with it before I get into bed at night.
The lesions started out gradually on my face and then spread to my back. They became full blown on my face. At one point I looked so bad I was embarrassed to even leave the house. My face was swollen up and covered with these horrid encrusted lesions. There was nothing I could do to disguise them. The lesions are almost gone now. Right now I have three small ones on my face. I credit antibiotics (doxycycline), an antifungal (fluoxenol) and an antiparasitic (albendazol) along with using ecovie for finally getting my face better. I am left with very uneven pigmentation on my face and like I said I am better but still not completely cured, still get the weird stuff in my skin and an occasional lesion, just not nearly as bad. Also have other symptoms that have not gone away, brain fog, depression, nuero problems, lung and heart problems and chronic fatigue. I am a morgie with Lyme.

the lesions started with a bug bite in 1999 I am researching the possibility that EBV or other virus may be responsable for allergic reaction to the bites and fibers.
I have been Ill since 1985 with one thing or an other.

I can't remember which started first for me, the "itchy, crawlies" or the lesions? I think it was the "itchy, crawlies", but then the lesions and all the other stuff hit me full force too - the numbness and tingling in legs and feet, hands and arms, the swelling of ankles and bluish, purplish, red tiny veins surfacing around my ankles and feet which moved up my legs with time - and the brain fog and dizziness and utter fatigue hit me hard at abpout the same time (a year and half ago.) I came out of the brain fog and the swelling has gone for now - the lesions cleared up for a short time, but they are back again. I had been on pulsed antibiotics for about 6 months and added lots of nutritional and dietary changes, which I continue to do. I don't know whether to go back on the antibiotics or not. I am thinking I may try to do the Zithromax and Minocycline again and see if these lesions will clear up again. It is so frustrating and also so embarrassing to have the sores and scars. At least in the winter months I can cover most of them up. Most of mine are on my upper thighs and on my back, shoulders and upper arms - but in the summer months that is hard to do - especially if you want to put on a swimsuit! AARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!

This current lesion, about 1 inch square on my lower right arm I brought on myself, by pouring bleach on a picked area. There was an instantaneous, very scary reaction. The skin peeled back in a flash. My first panicked thought was 'flesh eating disease' and I grabbed my colloidal silver and splashed it on the area. The peeling instantly stopped. Then before my eyes a weird thing happened. Instantly all sorts of black fibers, specks and what appeared to be semi-formed arthropod forms appeared in the wound, spaced a bit apart from eachother. I grabbed a cotton ball and most instantly adhered to the cotton. A few, however escaped. Appeared to be able to spring quickly. These escapees mostly ended up under the fingernails of the hand holding the cotton ball. And ouch! They immediately bored into the capillary system under the edge of the nail, turning brownish and causing pain under the nail. I think I got a couple in my nose and maybe down my throat, too. I am slowly prying out the ones under the nails. They stick to the skin like brownish super glue. The arm lesion continues to form the hard, glue like cap, but eco-vie is helping. Under the cap of the wound are multiple white, sticky producing wormy things. It appears they are imbeded. spaced in my pours. I have rubbed them but can't dislodge them. They are obviously hooked into my blood stream. I believe they produce the sticky glue and also produce the black articles, fuzzballs and fibers. They are white.
When the lesion opened I soon after began to feel vey toxic. Weird neuro. wooden feelings in face and jaw, very spacey and uncoordinated walking. I got an episode like chest and back squeezed in a vice and throat threatened to close down. These things have passed, now. I started taking 5,000-10,000mg. Vitamin C at start of neuro symptoms.
Also, soon after lesion on arm opened, I had a double line of stalked fibers with a red spot off to the side break out around T-1 vertebra on my back. These stalks had a fuzzy white and black fiber fuzz-ball at the upper tip. I have had frozen shoulder on that side (L) for about a year and a half. I think it is now related to this disease.

Well, reading the above, i can see why I would be called delusional. I could hardly believe what I was seeing, myself. I have had sores on my head since about 2001, but I thought I got an infection from a hair cutter. I had put Tea Tree oil on them and they subsided. I have had joint problems in back and hips since I was a child and had attributed current symptoms to these old congenital problems. I am used to functioning with pain and spacey feelings. Now I realize something else may be happening.
This current acute stage started with a burst of the itchies starting about 2 months ago. I thought a mite infested person had come into the household. I have been suceptible to scabies in the past. We have many people who visit the house where I live.

Dear Walkingonwater, You described exactly what I have experienced, so do not feel crazy about what you wrote. For you or anyone else having the hand and fingernail problem, which I have badly, use some menthol, simple icy hot or the knock off brand, 1% menthol for back pain, etc. Rub this into anyplace that has problems. It will turn the morgs blue and then black, they will die and become easier to remove. They don't give up easy, I too am using the EcoVie which helps so much. I cannot believe how many "things" are still being removed. I tryed the menthol on the lesions on my head, I couldn't handle it, the pain was terrible. But everywhere else this helps allot. Rub the area as much as poss. and then rinse and spritz w/ the EcoVie. Bulgari told me about this. I too had a lesion reappear on my R// forearm it has shed it's contents and is healing now. I think I will use the EcoVie on myself and family the rest of our life as long as I have the $ to get it. Since I wrote the reply earlier on this post a light bulb went off and I realize I have had this since I was very young if not born with it. It has just progressed and or other things have connected w/ it and it is unstoppable. To see my 6yr old have the internal and external symptoms like I do and others in the neighborhood getting this with lesions so quickly it is very scary. God Bless Us all and give us strength! Always, ebgb
