Dr. Wymore may have been both sad and mad. He must surely be frustrated, knowing what he knows, having seen what he has seen.
I continue to believe Dr. Wymore and OSU-CHS - Tulsa are the best friends we have working in our behalf. "They" have witnessed and collected the evidence, and their compassion, interest and determination to do the right thing is obvious.
Oh, Niels, I so hope you're wrong on some levels.
Can't bear thinking this could turn into a Dog and Pony Show Fiasco with no good results.

in microsoft media player, you can also do File->OpenURL and enter the following mms://205.237.197.31/staf (that way, you also make sure they're not getting any additional ad revenue by getting more webpage hits)
i was hoping i could fast forward past the bullpoop. and commercials. but alas, that is not possible. guess i'll need to haul out my anti-tinfoil-hat tinfoil hat to protect myself
i'm getting so sick of the stupid commercials, i'm probably going to figure out how to capture the stream and edit past the commercials.

Hi All:
Just a quick note to let everyone know that we may have another X-zone Radio show scheduled for Aug. 23. Details are being worked out as we speak and we are reviewing the list of potential guests. It is possible (We hope) that we may be able to secure the attendance of someone from Kaiser and/or the CDC. It would also be great if Dr. Wymore could put in another cameo. That is still up in the air at this point but Rob and I are both working on it.
Our next show will block out a 2 hour time slot so that we can delve a bit deeper into the issues that are relevant to us all. Will keep everyone posted as events develop.

awesome... thanks john... that's really all i wanted... to "move the bar" and thanks for the time...
cliff -- thanks for doing this show. any chance on getting this off of "late night UFO/ghostbuster radio" and into the mainstream?
kelly -- you're awesome! (sorry, i'm doing the "OC" thing). Thanks for mentioning the "pet rescue" aspect of contracting this. The CDC is really dropping the ball if they're not going to investigate some similar epidemically-rising diseases seen in animals, such as "Scratches" in horses, and "Mange" in dogs&cats. There was earlier talk of need for veterinary collaboration within the CDC, and there's been talk that morgellons within the CDC was going to be headed up by a veterinarian. (???)
yes, a veterinarian would be a far better choise than Kaiser! (My life as a dog).
please keep up the message. I really think we need pickets saying "Morgellons Sudy @ Kaiser == Syphillis Study @ Tuskegee" then again, maybe people have forgotten our medical atrocities (and racial/class atrocity) of recent history. "Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male"
....
i figured out a really cool internet product we need: audio-timeline based discussion boards, along with automatic audio-segmenting to create the "topic list"... basically post a stream, it auto-segments, presenting a web-timeline that people can collaboratively cross-link and comment on. You can easily listen to and comment on different portions, and also see where other people have been, and more quickly locate the garbage, the important issues, the flamewars, etc.
also, since i'm now feeling well-enough (fingers-crossed) to start working again, and i'm looking for a job, and don' really want to work for the man, anybody's got some money and want to pay me (and help pay my family's preexisting-conditioned insurance premium) to develop something we really need. A "vertical social network" for disease-sufferers. Now that facebook has released their infrastructure open-source, this is something I can basically setup and customize as a "one man band." Previous examples of my work -- http://netbeans.org and http://openoffice.org ...
(Plus, you'd never need to hear me complain about Kaiser again, cuz i'd get something better -- the expensive kind of insurance that lets me choose my own doctor and pays 80%.)
oh, of course, whoever funds me to build it (as in by the hour, contracting) gets all the profits from google-ads i'd place liberally around the site. now let's see... 10,000 patients, of which lets say 5,000 are active... each viewing 5-100 pages per day, 4 different ad-panels per page... that can make for some good steady income via google ads. That income, and relatively low overheads for monthy operations, can make for a good stream, and hopefully an increasing stream of income for a morgellons science research center. Anybody got Wymore's address?
Anybody think a "facebook/myspace/tribe for patients/doctors/researchers" is a good idea? The main difference is that such a site would be much more strict about privacy... allowing only group members to visit group information, and only friends can see each others information, unlerss you have public info you're willing to discolose to the world (and google).
Bulletin boards are so 1990's... This one doesn't even prevent google from getting at our private conversations. THen you don't even need to login to see them -- just visit the "cache" version of the page.

That sounds like a great idea Niels, and something you would be really good at organizing. Maybe even work it into a job like you were mentioning, where someone would pay you for it. You should be so lucky, huh? It wouldn't work for our purposes here but it would be a good thing overall.

Just so everyone knows, Niels is not speaking about your private conversations, as in PMs. However, once you write on a message board whether it's open or closed, your words are no longer private.
We actually opened the board back up to guest viewing because we had so many Members wanting us to get recognized by the search engines. If it's that passe, I guess people have a right not to visit but we sorta like it here.
