Dear Skytroll,
I was told by my Primary Care Physician that if the CDC does not approve it as a disease, has a code for it, then it will not be treated! Doctors are afraid to act on anything that is new and emerging without specific medical approval from the Feds.
My PCP who has known me for 15 years, is sick to death of me, will not refer me to IDS, but will call and warn them NOT to give me an appointment! He has even so much as said to me and my husband, "When is the other shoe going to drop?" I asked him what he was referring to? He said, "When are you going to sue me?" I said all I want is competent medical care and the decency of having your office and you, forward my request so that I can see competent medical personnel. His reply, "You've been to the best, and they haven't found what's wrong, so why should I send you to someone else?" On my last visit, he actually told me he would not discuss my illness until "I had a diagnosis - then we could talk!" I said, "How can I get a diagnosis if you won't contact the specialists on my behalf?" No answer, walked out of the room!!! I am so angry that we are being treated as second class citizens by our country, the medical profession, our State and Federal reps. Our civil rights have been violated over and over again...it's time we came out of the closet and showed them what WE'RE made of! We have great minds on this forum, we don't always agree, but that's how discoveries are made. Weed out what doesn't work, and the answer will be forthcoming. We need to put pressure where it will do the most good!

Ctbarb,
totally agree, and what Trisha is doing is bringing this back into the Congress again.
by hammering at the door, and once in they cannot stop us.
We do have patient rights.
Even when they signed the constitution, the doctor who treated George Washington said a "patient bill of rights should be part of the constitution"
so, just what is our patient bill of rights today?
Well, another thread for that.

Dear Ct Barb, What a loving and beautiful thing to do. She is working with a really Great Local doctor here and she told him gown and Glove and have the patient gown and glove. We should buy stock in Purple Gloves and maybe we could raise some monies. LOL Purple Gloves, (Fighters Gloves) should be our insignia. Nancy

i have said this before and i'll say it again, "united we stand divided we fall". we have got to breach the gulf separating people into different camps. if we can't come together and work as a team to get the word out then we will not be heard. i love each and every person who has the courage to fight for our cause. i may not always agree with them on some issues but i appreciate their efforts on our behalf. i am a board member of the CEHF and i work with them to help our cause. that being said, if mary lieto called and asked for my help on a project, i would jump at the chance. if trisha needs my help... she's going to get it. i am not trying to further the agenda of any one organization but to further the agenda that all morgies share, to defeat morgellons disease by any means necessary. we have got to take our fight to the public. those who are making the public aware by whatever means they choose are doing us a favor. until this becomes not just our problem but EVERYONES problem, we are facing an up hill battle. when the public at large becomes aware that they too are at risk then we will see more media exposure as well as genuine concern on the part of the cdc. we need to come together. we need to get better organized. we need to fight for each other instead of with each other. kelly

OH Kelly sweetie you are so right, sometimes I want to stand on a mountain top and scream "lets all come together" Lets stop hurting one another, stop working so hard at trying to be the "FIRST" to figure it out, stop the back stabbing, stop the rumor starting, stop the working so hard to "take over & take down"
IF WE ALL WORKED TOGETHER WE COULD MOVE MOUNTAINS.
I remember as everyone I sure remembers two groups that just didn't agree. It was sad, sometimes ugly.
One of the ladies came in here months back to say to the other lady "Hey job well done, thank you"
Man I cried my eyes out, both are wonderful caring, loving ladies. They just I guess didn't agree on the cause of Morgellons. I'm really am not sure of the "why" because as you do, I love everyone working for answers. And didn't care to read the gossip.
Well no thats not true because there are a few very ugly mean people saying they are working for answers when they are just out for>>>>>>>>>>>>what ever.
Anyway that day she came in here and said what she said I knew that lady has more class in her little toe then most have in their who life.
She made me so proud to have known her. And I love her, I love anyone who is working to find the answers. And I'll tell ya, we have many good folks working in the shadows, behind closed doors, not out for fame, just answers.
God love them.

Once again I forgot why I was at this thread, brain fog bad the past 3 days, crazy events in my life. I'm sorry Trisha thank you so much for all you do. And you should not for one second worry about whats on your recorder. My goodness you came up with a treatment that I understand has helped so many, be proud of that honey. So what if thats on your recorder, if folks are so dumb that they believe it's all about pushing your products, well pi&& on them.
You have worked so hard to help not only the folks of Florida but folks everywhere.
I thank you Trisha, I thank you for every ounce of suffering you stopped. You are a wonderful caring lady who has stuck her neck out, even putting your career on the line to help. God love you honey. I wish we had more like you. I'm so sorry you lost your friend, we also have a best friend and our business partner suffering with gastric cancer. Watching him do these treatments from hell is breaking our hearts. He wants so bad to live, he's a good good man, honest, loving and we could have never been blessed with a better partner. He's willing to try anything they throw at him because he loves life so. It hurts so much, I'm so sorry your friend lost her fight and I'm so glad she had you in her life, she was blessed.
Love and strength Suebe

Kelly, SO well said! I, too, would do anything I could to support any person who is legitimately trying to advance our cause - regardless of theoretical leanings. I wish so much that the spirit of cooperation and sharing of information would occur in the scientific community. I pray for it, in fact. It's just too important not to. Bessie
