I'm elated that my post got through. All that's needed now is to change me from guest to member. Alex, I'll check out your survey tomorrow.

Okay Cool! I wasn't sure if it was the survey or Lymebusters that was not working. A few people have reported trouble submitting the survey and I still don't know what it was. I know AOL's web browser caused problems years ago, but I don't know anything about that currently. I used to have AOL and I would get online with AOL but then used Internet explorer. Let me know if you do have any problem with the survey. I would try using IE instead of AOL browser if possible. If you send me a PM here at LB I will get a email notice and respond faster.

Maybe this is a stupid question but is the Patriot Act itself, the actual text, available for public viewing or does it have a clause in it that prohibits anyone from seeing it? This sounds like a lot like a movie (and a book) that is in my top 5 alltime best list, which is ....of course ...Catch 22. There is a clause in Catch 22 that specifies thats "they" are allowed to do anything that you can't stop them from doing. Well that certainly makes sense. But seriously, where can I get a copy of the Patriot Hack..err Act....?? I am going to google it.. ;D

I have created a survey specifically for people that have or had symptoms of the USP (Unidentified Skin Parasite) or Morgellons. Alex.
Must the survey be completed before sending, Alex--or can it be worked on over a period of days before submitting?

are the antibiotics helping at all? I found 10% sulfer soap and it seemed to dry up the lesions. my skin is very dry from it but thats nothing compared to this condition.

My doc told me that when I (my Morgellons) is under control, I will lose the weight very quickly. He also added that his cured patients looked as though they had complete face and body lifts and on average looked 15 to 20 years younger. Newby
What is your doctor's speciality, Newby, and how does he get the disease under control? You're so lucky to have found one who treats Morgellons patients.

If I look 20 years younger . . . and know what I know now too . . . . whooo wheeee! . . . QH (pardon the intrusion) PS: Alex, the map is interesting, hope you find a way to get the dots in place to show the concentration areas. Look forward to the updated questionnaire.

Jody , hi thanks for the tip on the sheets. 2oz. of eucalyptus adds up to a lot of money. Someone else told me about dishwashing soap recently. Any particular brand you use? thanks Will

29 December 2005 - I am back after a couple weeks of illness. I Haven't been able to update the results or even collect survey data due to either allergic reaction or side effects of Bactrim. It has helped my skin symptoms but I had horrible pulsing pains in my head near the ear for days then pain in my shoulder like a pinched nerve but no position relieved pain and couldn't sleep for over 2 days. I also had chills and severe stomach cramps. Now I stopped the Bactrim and feel good except my left arm doesn't work well. It acts weird, twists in odd ways when I reach and no strength. I don't know if it's over yet. Anyway, I finally updated the "Theories..." & "Manifestations..." & "Unlisted Symptoms" pages. The first 2 pages of results are working well, but the other pages are still un-repaired. I have however added some details to the first page that are interesting.

I finally found a great mapping program that I am sure will produce exactly the maps I want. The only thing is the trial period is only 10 days (cheap bastards!!) I have ways around that to keep using it that are time comsuming (involves making complete operating system duplicates) but if it will do everything I think it will, it is worth it. Alex

Alex: I had been wondering about you - glad to hear you are mostly over that bout. Hope your arm continues to improve. I went to the first page, but couldn't remember how to access the results to see the changes you've made.

Happy New Year!
Hi,
June and Question, I haven''t answered your questions regarding my doctor, because I have been in purgatory lately and haven't posted much.
I can reveal my doc's name, Dr. William T. Harvey of Texas, as he is mentioned on several web sites. He is an M.D. and M.P.H.
His protocol is relatively new. His current treatment is based on the premise that our disease is a two-pathogen illness. Borrelia diminishes immune protection and causes inflammation, then a protozoa infects the central nervous system. He uses Mepron (anti-protozoan) with a macrolide antibiotic. Zithromax or Biaxin (anti-protozoan and anti-Borrelial). Both are oral and he believes that together, the drugs are more effective than anything used to date. In the case of Borrelia-infected patients (me), with serious/debilitating illness (mostly neurological and/or autoimmune), IV Ceflriaxone (Rocephin) is substituted for the oral macrolide.
If you would like further information, I will respond. This is all I have at this time., and will check later.
Health and hugs to you. Newby (Bulgari51)
