I was wondering what wilsons disease has to do with morgellons?
It seems that wilsons patients are not able to excrete copper out of their bodies effectively.
Here are the symptoms: A buildup of copper in the liver may cause ongoing liver disease. Rarely, acute liver failure occurs; most patients develop signs and symptoms that accompany chronic liver disease, including
* swelling of the liver or spleen * jaundice, or yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes * fluid buildup in the legs or abdomen * a tendency to bruise easily * fatigue
A buildup of copper in the central nervous system may result in neurologic symptoms, including
* problems with speech, swallowing, or physical coordination * tremors or uncontrolled movements * muscle stiffness * behavioral changes
Other signs and symptoms of Wilson disease include
* anemia * low platelet or white blood cell count * slower blood clotting, measured by a blood test * high levels of amino acids, protein, uric acid, and carbohydrates in urine * premature osteoporosis and arthritis
I have had the bruising and the jaundice and tremors, seizures but is this really just lyme.
There are supposed tests out there.
Has anyone been tested or diagnosed with this disorder?

I have heard of it before and I think its really Morgellons. I heard that some people with this named illness benefited from hormone DEH or something like that...

Your welcome, Kmarie. Thanks for answering my question Mrfromcanada.
I was really low on dhea or nadh i forget. Mrfromcanada, do you know anything more about this disorder or about dhea? I was wondering.
I also had difficulty swallowing but this is also a lyme symptoms. I guess the uncontrolled muscle movements bothers me the most. but this could be parkinsons.
I need to ask doc about it.

I have the same thing, in fact when I went and had a pedicure my toes started jerking, & it was so embarrassing. I'm just jerking all the time. I do take Kolonopin, which is for restless leg syndrome, & that goes with FMS, & CFIDS, & I have both of those lovely diseases. Try to relax, get some exercise if you can, & don't think about it too much. Be sure you are taking Silymarin, Milk Thistle. I don't think you can get liver damage if you take that every day. It supposedly cures it. I have Hep C, & when I went in for the real nasty treatment, the Doc couldn't believe I had gotten well. My point is try to forget about it, & maybe it will pass, but you have to take your milk thistle paddel. Take care, freaky
