My hair has been stick straight my whole life. A while back my whole head was shaved and when it grew back it was the same. I had to have it shaved again and now I have about a 2" thick curl right in the center of my head. The rest is its usual straight. Didnt Toni have hair issues?
Hope I dont have to wear a headband for the rest of my life.

This thing started in my hair kiki... it used to be long, then I cut it shorter and shorter until one night after doin a hot oil treatment, it just fell out! I ended up shaving mine too. It didn't look too good with just a patch or two of hair here and there ya know? Mine was also straight, until morgs set in. It curls in a way now that's pretty weird I must say. It's more like I have a ton of cowlicks now. Course, I like the messy look.
The strands wrap around it and go up and down and all around, pulling your hair in all different directions. I've grabbed one and slowly pulled it all the way around my head before, It twists around one hair and then pulls that hair up when it goes to twist around another one. That's what makes it curly.
It feels good when you first shave it tho huh? But it doesn't take long before it feels like you didn't even shave it at all... at least that's how it was for me. I'd do it again if I didn't look so dorky!

The hair on my arms and legs, which are rather fine since I'm not an excessively hairy guy, for the most part tend to lay uniformly in the same direction but in some places the hair is like a jungle with no uniformity, going in every direction. It's these places where I can pull hairs out rather easily without any discomfort, in fact, and this is a little hard to explain, but it's almost like a compulsion to pull them out but that's not exactly the word to describe it, and it's not that I find it pleasurable either but sort of, like I said it's hard to explain, anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I think that my hair seems to grow thick over a morgellons scar. When I pull it comes out easily as if non-hair. My real hair seems to be thinning or patchy on my legs. My head hair is out of this world beautiful, turned back to blonde and is growing like crazy, healthier than ever.

Yeah Marie, they're definitely longer hairs than the rest, and another thing, and I think I read something along these lines regarding the "original" Morgellons, this seems to occur more often, or maybe exclusively, in the muscular areas.

First it affected my right arm and then a year or two later ....... the left arm has those wild LONGER hairs that were NOT there before morgellons. divinesahajayoga.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.htmlalso.. the "feathered plume" headres worn by native american indian chiefs and Azteg tribal leaders was representative of the coronal crown chakra emanation of divine spiritual energy from the top of our heads. yes .. the tingling at the very top of your head you feel. same reason for the jewish yamika. same reason for the red dot between the eyes Hindus in India wear to symbolize not their crown chakra but their third eye Anja chakra. Chakras are real. you don't believe them because most of your life you have no physical proof of them. but then when they OPEN.. you think that it is worms burrowing in your flesh.. //sigh//.. the kundalini unlocks and transforms the body's metamorphic process just liek a tadpole turns to a frog caterpillar to butterfly. the initial onset causes all the hairs on the body to wilt and fall out.. then be replaced with new hairs of a metallic sheen. these new hairs act as antennae for the interaction of external energy ie: the sun, other people's energy... and your own biological electrical and subtle kundalini / holy spirit energy. this is the purpose of human hair. if this was not, then we would have evolved to be completely hairless beings.. as we wear clothes and have no need for it for warmth. the hair follows the flow of the literal ACTUAL spiritual energy emanating from your body's nervous system. it weaves and waves along with the waves of energy that push it along. I'm not making this up.. this is what kundalini / holy spirit energy does. it's a literal actual thing. and you're experiencing it. I don't know how many times I have to reiterate the reality of the situation you find yourselves in, until you look into it and research it for yourselves. I guess hearing the truth from a stranger on the internet isn't as reality-steering as it would be if a major network television personality told you it. I guess you'll have to wait until Surgeon General candidate CNN's Dr Sanjay Gupta[/i]tells you it on whatever Morgellons / Human Evolution special he does that gets mass media play. Then will you believe it? I think most of you will once the mainstream media from every corner starts to unveil this all to you. check out Moses's hair in the top left of this photo. Moses was characterized with horns of light emanating from his head.. here he is depicted with horns of statically charged hair. i think it's difficult for many people to make the necessary transition from viewing religious mythology as hazy hocus-pocus... to the reality of it which is scientific physiological-spiritual allegories. The highest levels of underground military and private scientific-medical research have discovered the LITERAL meaning of all things spoken of immortality.. the symbolic brazen serpent and the "serpents from the sky" (byssus hyphae) . .or "morgellons fibers" ... it's been discovered.. researched.. and mastered.. not only that but it's been implemented.. and you're witnessing its effects on you. it's difficult transition process. you're enduring your own metaphorical "passion".. you're being metaphorically crucified.. the long wait is almost over... and the "reapers" are going to come and harvest the ripe fruit (YOU).. from the nation of bounty.. U.S.A. ... and you'll be taken somewhere to complete the change. but then again don't believe me I'm just a stranger on the internet talking about a bunch of stuff you don't want to comprehend. guess just wait till Sanjay Gupta tells you the EXACT same thing.. then you'll believe it. (he's got street cred yo.) THE POWERS THAT BE HAVE HARNESSED THE HOLY PROCESS OF CHANGING HUMANS INTO DIVINE BEINGS. THEY ARE CHANGING YOU ACCORDING TO THE PLANS WITTEN IN HOLY BOOKS. THEY ARE CARRYING THIS OUT SCIENTIFICALLY. maybe when you wake up one day.. and find that you've transformed into a lustrous golden jasper body of unimaginable beauty and ability.. then you'll be like.. oooh yeah that Accacian guy was telling me about this... but i thought it was parasites... then you'll shrug that off and go fly around the world bringing peace and beauty everywhere you go. but yeah... um.. hey.. -

I had to have it shaved again and now I have about a 2" thick curl right in the center of my head. The rest is its usual straight. Didnt Toni have hair issues? Hope I dont have to wear a headband for the rest of my life. Kiki, YES...sounds like your hair too is doing what mine is (sort of). And the top part you're describing (where you said you have a 2" thick curl right in the center of your head?) oh YES!!!! I feel like I've got an extra 1" square, hunk of hair right in the middle of the top of my head! (sort of to the left a bit to the side of the dead middle) right on top. Here's what's REALLY odd. The right side of my hair is as straight as if I ironed it (that straight). The left half of my hair is like I've got a perm. Super curly waving...like wringlets really, (the ENTIRE left side of my head). What scares me is a friend of mine told me of her sister 42 yrs old, had straight hair, then it went all curly and thick too. Now this gals sister died shortly thereafter of cancer-which she had been in remission. I'm wondering what the heck is going on with this curly hair business of course. I sure don't want to frighten anyone by saying this, but maybe this is important, and maybe not. I just want to put this out there for food for thought, or what we might (think about/consider). This 42 yr old gal, that ALL OF A SUDDEN got very curly hair "out of no where" had gotten chemo the year before. Isn't chemo (radiation) which is from radio active material?? Now maybe the two things (curly hair and radiation/radio active material) have nothing to do with each other...but maybe they do?! Not that this means there's any connection to what happened with her, but...it's in my mind...because we all know our hair is not like it ever was. (nothing is) with Morgs. The growth rate, and the curliness isn't normal either. Sprouting hairs that are super long on our legs or arms too, that's never been before either. Hairs on the body have a "programming" if you will. Like our eyelashes, they only grow to a certain length, then stop....YET these "odd" new growths of hair just grows like it has no programming, it just sprouts and grows, yet very weak in their follicles, and the super long ones, WILL pull out so easily. Steve and Kmarie, I too had those very fine odd hairs on my forarms too. Several LONG blonde hairs that pulled out with the greatest of ease. (reminded me of hairs that were premature), meaning like they sprouting because something triggered them to sprout, yet they weren't strong enough to maintain. That lasted for about a year, now the hair on my forearms are back to norm. This weirdness of the hairs causes me to think that somehow our pituitary is being (tickled) into stimulation...and causing the excessive hair growth. I sure don't know, but those are just the thoughts.

My little stick girl here: This is JUST LIKE what I've got going on. Right side straight, left side all permed looking. And it's VERY radical, the change that's obvious with my hair.

Toni- Did the crimped hairs happen suddenly or did it slowly start to get wavy? Will your straight hairs hold curl? Maybe a crimping iron or perm? I know it must be frustrating--cant cover that with a headband! Years ago I had super long hair and paid an obscene price (over 200.00 w/tip) for a spiral perm. I loved it but never got another one--hard to justify that kind of money for 4 months of "good" hair. The stylist said the weight of long hair kinda "pulls down" curls. Am I making sense? On the bright side if it will crimp, maybe you can get half off! But Toni your hair cant diminish how pretty you are!

The left side getting more and more "tight" with the waves. When I get out of the shower anymore, my left side looks like I took out finger size rollers, because all the "wringlets" are there, yet the right side, looks like the wet rat effect, hahah And oh...the right side, it doesn't "hold the curl with the curling iron" as long of time as the left side does. And yes, I sure do understand what you mean about the weight of hair pulling down curls. (layering) helps when hair is heavy and you want "higher up" curls or waves, otherwise the curl on heavy "blunt cut hair" will end up only on the ends by the end of the day...if you know what I mean. And how totally funny! hahahah I could go into a salon and say ( I only need half a perm on my right side only - do I get a discount?) hahahhaha ;D And thank you for the nice compliment.

Before any other symptoms, I noticed "peach fuzz" hair growing all over me. My dr called them lanuga hairs and another word that starts with a v but dont remember what. My natural hair has always been that white/blonde so it didnt jump out at you but I knew it was there and knew it wasnt normal. I wanted to have it lasered off my face but was told hair was too light-- that only darker shades could be lasered. After testing neg for cancer, my dr didnt focus on it. It eventually disappeared but I noticed that while the hair on my head seemed thicker, the hair on my legs in areas seemed "rootless". A swipe with washcloth and they were gone. That part seemed pretty sweet--no shaving!! One day I got a spray tan and was told not to wash till next day for best results. No problem since even though it was 11:00 am I was so sleepy I could barely keep my eyes open. I slept the day and night away and in morning when I showered I noticed my washcloth and water was clear which puzzled me cause was told to expect some of coloring from spray. I dried off with an ivory colored towel and it had no stains whatsoever. I hung it up and dried hair and then noticed there were dark spots on it. It freaked me out so bad I got a garbage bag and put it in to sneak it out to dumpster so darling Mr Kiki wouldnt know that I threw it out. (its a wife thing so guys may not get it) I went to tub to get washcloth too (just in case). The bag was still open and when I started to throw washcloth in it looked like chunks of charred wood on top of towel. Now Ive lost it. You'd think there were rattlesnakes in there the way I acted. I actually backed out of room and slammed door shut (I know...nutz!) Well when Mr Kiki got home a few hrs later and looked at my "evidence" he pulled it out and said you mean this perfectly damp but clean towel?? Not a spec on it. I know what I saw even if I cant explain it. I have no idea how I went from hair to that. Sorry for getting off topic.

Oh yeah... the arm hair. I have quite a few loooong hairs that I see sparkling particles being shot out of whenever I feel activity there. They look like miniature sparklers coming outta my arms. I've pulled them out but they just come right back. I have a couple that actually stand straight up and they're a good 3 inches long too. My arms have become my July 4th whenever I'm in the mood to watch a show.
I have all that peach fuzz all around my face now too. It keeps gettin thicker. You can't really see it that easily cuz it's blonde, but to me it looks like a jungle ya know? I don't know if I should shave it off or not? What do you guys think? Will it grow back even thicker if I do? Maybe I should just slap some nair all over my face... and body!

Kiki, that is soooo funny (about the wrapping it up to throw it out)....(the wife thing) hahahhahahah OH DO I KNOW THAT ONE TOO! ;D haha, that tickled me to pieces!
Bannanny,
Those "fuzzy blonde hairs on a womans face are called Vellus hairs". If the hormones are not put under control (naturally or by what your doc recommends) they will turn to what is called Terminal hairs.
( The Vellus/blonde ones, ARE reversible) if you get it under control, asap. If they "continue" or if you just try and rid them without addressing the hormones *inside your body*, they WILL turn to the coarse dark "terminal hairs"...which is why some women have to go through all kinds of "treatments" to keep them from showing....because they'll forever keep growing unless you had electrolysis done.
Now is key to reversing them (while they're in the vellus stage).

Now I remember... after the tanning incident the hairs on my legs looked and felt normal again (figures the ONE decent symptom goes away). Ive always planned to go back for another tan to see if anything happens but never seem to do it. Ive wondered if something in the spray killed something cause all my worse areas are what didnt get sprayed. Probably not but I have a tendency to think anything weird is a clue. Nanners DO NOT SHAVE YOUR FACE!!! If you do the hair- well normal ones anyway will have blunt tip and will feel and look coarse when grows out. Stubbly-is that a word?? like a beard. I'll send you some things to try if ya want. But please hold off shaving them so you dont make a bad thing worse

Post by toni on Jun 27, 2009 8:18:07 GMT -5
Kiki...that's a fact ;D Bannanny, Here's a short video explaining about the Vellus hairs on a womans face and the hormonal imbalance causing those Vellus hairs (peach fuzz) to turn to the Terminal hairs. (this is why some women end up having to shave forever, because the adrogens and estrogens in the body become unbalanced), and if they're not corrected asap, those (peachy fuzzy hairs) will turn to the coarse stiff hairs (terminal dark hair) and then the woman will forever be dealing with this problem. Also when this happens at around age 45-55, DHT circulates through the body (which is from that male hormone/androgen) that we all have too, and then many women experience (male pattern baldness) because the DHT from this "unbalance in hormones" ends up in the hair follicles on top the head. When this DHT gets congested in the head hair follicles, the follicles shrink, and then stop producing hair. (which is why many women get the male pattern baldness) as they call it. If your peach fuzz is getting thicker, and your age is around this, this is one clock women can "turn around". If it's not done, it can't be turned back later. Just before the age of 50, a doc of mine put me on the lowest dose of Spirolactone, and to this day, I barely have (if any) peach fuzz, and there's no worry either of those dark terminal hairs growing now. This is a "flag" that the body gives to women, that the androgen and estrogens are unbalanced. video.yahoo.com/watch/5283566/13936501(this is a video ALL women should watch) And this is just about the med Spirolactone. This medication isn't a first line of defense against acne breakouts. It is only effective against acne caused by hormonal fluctuations. But it can be especially helpful for women with hormonal disorders that trigger acne or who suffer with other problems, like unwanted facial hair. acne.about.com/od/acnetreatments/a/spironolactone.htmThere are also natural alternatives...just wanted to help you understand about this because it's one of those things that "become" a permanent problem for so many women, if it's not corrected.

Well, it's never been a dream of mine to join the circus as the bearded lady... soooo I'll get right on it! Thanks guys! I'm 55 now and I'm already thru menopause. I started early (age 45)due to 2 ectopic pregnancies. They call it surgical menopause. But I've never been on hormones... guess it's time eh? It's time I went in for my gyn check-up anyway. I just hate those mamograms cuz I always end up havin to get an MRI since they always seem to come back abnormal... kinda like me I guess!

Toni I recognize that drug but unfortunately cant take it b/c it can lower blood pressure-- when this all started I was fainting 30 or more times a day. I had only been seeing my dr for 2 mos but she suspected postural orthostatic tachycardia (pots) right off. Most days its normal but some days the mere action of standing makes my blood pressure plummet and I pass out. It cost me my career and passion--dance. I think I know what phantom pain feels like cause my mind cant accept it and the ache is torture. But we all have lost something so I should get off my pity-party.
