Morgellons sufferer creates treatment gel WFAA McDaniel is among thousands of sufferers who hoped the CDC investigation would solve the mystery of Morgellons. However, the results of the study haven't ... tinyurl.com/y5ldmkdNice video about a gentleman in Texas who has Morgellons and the "gel" created to combat it.

Good Video ----- SURE Hope it helps put some pressure on the CDC.
Sulfur ... Sounds reasonable as Bactrim does help.
Wish he had went into some of the "internal" health problems also.
His white fiber looks like what I have seen. (thankfully, I rarely see fibers anymore)
Recently had a lesion break out on my hand and Bactrim and Milk helped.
I suffer more internally from this illness.
His "small" lesions look like what I get. Thankfully, I don't get larger ones anymore.

Good find. Yup, that video was a good one. It said it like it is.
Sulfur may kill other bugs in addition to killing the mites it is generally known for. Of course, it does not kill below the surface of the skin, but maybe it does something else as well---for him, at least.
The reporter made a common mistake that I find maddening: instead of saying that it was a natural or naturopathic treatment, she said that it was homeopathic. Homeopathic remedies are virtually all water with only undetectable traces of a single component added.
It is neat that he got this chemist to put it together for him. That was really a great presentation for so many reasons.

Thank you Sid, That was a good video (I'm always very happy for Morgs exposure). I pretty much ditto what you said Liatris. *this is just a link to that sulfur cream I use to use all the time, which maybe it might help someone* It's got zinc and sulfur in it. Here's the ingredients: Ingredients Deionized water, Zinc Oxide, Self Emulsifiable Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Sterate, Laneth 16, Colloidal Sulphur, Camphor, Bentonite, Germaben IIE, FD&C Yellow 1 & Blue 1. I'd mix it with alittle water and mix that up, so it would spread easier because this it's thick. www.platinumskincare.com/zinc-and-sulfur-mask.aspx

Toni,
only 2 oz cost $22.95
Is that the same Gel from the news segment that the Pharmicist made?
I didn't look for where the guy was selling his gel. If it was there, then it wasn't blatently listed.
I quickly glanced at the article last night but didn't see the advertisement.
(not that I would buy it, but those jars on the video looked huge.)

Kmarie,
No, it's not the same stuff the Morgs guy made. The link I posted is from Platinum Skin Care *products*. I looked for his (Morgone gel) but I couldn't find it to compare ingredients or prices.

Toni,
Thanks for looking!
But no, that one above is Black and listed as a "salve" which is thick.
On the video, it looked like a clear gel and more "liquid" than salves are.
The main ingredient was sulfur from the fellow on the news and that pic above does not have sulfur listed.
Thanks for looking. I'm curious to see it, but not to purchase it.

Back just after my morgellons onset I remember seeing the same string dragging mite he showed on his video.. I had not started taking pictures yet but later I did a 3-D rendering of what they looked like.. They looked like a small black spec. Under magnification there bodies were crystal clear with a wad of black yarn wound up throughout there body. They drug a long strand of yarn that ran under the skin that jerked them back to safety if they were messed with.. Shortly after they died the body completely dissolved and all that was left was a wad of black yarn with a trailing string.. After a few minuets it turned from black to brown to white..

His litle bumps look alot like mine. I wonder how we can get some of his gel. I googled his name but the only thing that came up was the link Sid posted. So I just sent the reporter an email to see if she can help us find out how to get some.

rhorn, those are the strangest "whatevers" I have ever seen. Looks like three legs on the side, meaning three more on the other side.
I've seen the clear/gelatinous "blob" with fibers inside many times, but never thought about them being anything living. On a slide when exposed to air the "gelatinous blob" disappears and I see nothing left other than a snarl of fibers.
This is the first time I've ever seen the fibers constructed in such a way as what you've shown here.
My fiberballs have always been tightly woven, so compact they would appear to have constructed over a period of time.
On the other hand, the "snarls" of hair and fibers are simply "snarls" not tightly woven at all. So often a human hair or animal hair has been bent just like something had actually made it easier (less work) to drag it into the skin as opposed to say something three inches long reduced to one and a half inches. In other words, doubled.
To me, this is intricate work created with an obvious agenda, either to block their burrow or for nesting material.
Glad folks enjoyed the video and agree he did a great job.
About Black Salve....that is potent stuff. One of the paticipants in the Oklahoma Project in 2000 used Bklack Salve on a large lesion on the back of her neck. She said it destroyed the lesion, but left a hole in her neck that never completely filled in.
About the Sulfur, one of the first dermatologists I saw believed I had a major Demodex Mite infestation in my face. Suggested I use Ice packs when they started moving around because the movement sensation as you all will appreciate, is unnerving beyond all description.
The dermatologist phoned a pharmacist and had him concoct a thick paste of Sulfur and Petroleum Jelly for me which did absolutely nothing.
I do agree Sulfur is good stuff, and Bactrim has always been helpful to me to fight the secondary (IMHO) bacterial infection. I can tolerate it as long as I take it with food, but if I don't it makes me very ill and tears my stomach up.
I believe where our disease is concerned any and all publicity is a good thing as long as it's positive publicity and we're not being depicted as delusional crack pots.

utoh, the black salve? I need to warn you guys about that stuff. A member at MDR I've been talking to mentioned Black Salve. She pointed out that it CAN be helpful..BUT also is very dangerous, if used without medical attention. It can 'eat up' your skin and lead to severe skin and tissue damage. Some people who have used this needed plastic surgery. Hands off, I would say!

you don't have to buy this guys products. or anyone's as a matter of fact.
natural soap is so easy to make. The ingredients are in your grocery store and local hardware store. nothin' to it.
Salves are even easier.
even simpler than salves are infused herbal oils....which in turn if you know how to make a simple salve, you can make it more potent by using an infused oil or two.
lotions are a bit more difficult but can be done.
most of y'all here spend some time on the net.
look up recipes. try some out.
might take your mind off the itchys and crawlies and/or worrying that you are sick.
in all honesty that is what I've been doing on my off time. I've even made a side business out of it and it's helping me pay my bills.
I put nothing on my body that is gmo related. That means hair care, soap.....and lotion. I even make my own laundry soap, dish soap and cleaning supplies. all natural and chemical free
once you get the basics down it's easy. Added bonus. I save at least 150.00 a month in cleaning and personal care costs and it's tailor made to fit my family and my home.
I love you guys dearly, and I know that most of you have the time to do this. And the money as well.
if anyone wants to try any of the above~ I'll be around for help. just pm me...I will walk you through.....
