I checked to see if proboards was having issues and they are not Here's something about their policy's concerning adverts tinyurl.com/2732stsPop ups are generated by cookies left on your browser by websites that you visit most cookies are good and they help your computer to get around the web-- Then there are others that arnt so good like the ones that create popups To get rid of popup cookies go to tools menu on your browser then click on internet options see browsing history press delete button There is also an option there that will delete your cookies every time you close your browser if you put a check in the box indicated

Hi Bannanny, I logged on today, and have not had any popups. For every post I read yesterday, I got a huge popup that covered half of what I was reading. That puts me in a really bad mood because I'm already thinking about too many things. Maybe they fixed it, no popups today.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I enjoyed the sunshine on the mountains.

Woops I spoke too soon. The Orchard Bank thinks I need a new credit card.
Woops again, Business Dish Network thinks I need a new Dish.

Thanks for the info Ant, because I'm still having the problem too on and off.
And can you recommend a "spyware" to remove "stuff"? Thanks.

Hi Toni I use Microsoft's Security Essentials it does quite a good job at protecting my computer its real time protection--(averts spy-ware before it gets on your computer ) plus a scanner You can program it to scan and update the spy-ware definitions automatically when your asleep its pretty hands free The best thing about it is its free I think it is just about as good as the spy-ware programs that you have to pay for Make sure that before you download it that you don't have any other security programs running on your computer it could lead to some conflict Download www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Oh yeah, I vaguely remember that... I lost mine too... sry Skiz, I was confused from the other site where I had written 'she' in a post and then Jeany told me 'she' was a 'he' and I changed it. (It doesn't matter...)

Kammy,
I have protection on my computer. This just started on this site. This is the only place it happened. I think it has to do with this site's over-zealous advertiser. It hasn't happened tonight.
I came on to look for the lady's picture of bacteria under the skin on her face. i'm doing a video on the genetic changes that have to occur in order for these organisms to live in a human being. I don't remember what thread it was on.
