OK been in remission for 5 yrs and now I find out this antibiotic is no longer being made . Is anyone out there on something else ? Doxi makes me vomit and keflex ( sp) makes me crazy ) Id just like responses from peeps that are on a different drug with no "thinking this may work " please . I'm terrified of going back to 7 years ago thanks Moe

Maybe check with a different pharmacy and ask if generic tetracycline is available. Its still the same drug. I think it is called tetracyline HCL but not sure. Barring that: If you type in google Canadian pharmacy, you can find some good links. It seems to be available as a generic in Canada but call first so youdon't waste your time. your doctor will write the prescription and you take it from there. There are a few other things that work for some people.
Of course everyone has heard from Mel that Bactrim worked, I'm allergic to it.
I presently take Biaxin XL, Penicillin VK, Flagyll and Cipro. It keeps the symptoms to a minimum but they are still there. I took Tetracycline before and it didn't help me at all.

it appears the drug was recalled cause on the 250 mg batch had the wrong ex date .. drug stores sent all of it back . Hope makers can begin making it after May .. im trying a new anti called minocycline 100 mg x2 a day dont know if this will give me the same results pray it will
