Okay guys, I'm taking my second dose of FenBendazole tonight at 11:00 EST. I'm somewhat disappointed, my crawlies have been sort of the usual, my head though was definitely clearer if that means anything. I put some vicks sab on my forearms and forced some stuff up even, not as much as was there 48 hours ago when I did the same thing, the question is was it because I did the vicks 2 days ago on the same spot or the FenBen is working?
I'm still optimistic, but Ms Kitty and Michelle from finding1cure make it sound pretty clear that the itchies stop pretty quickly. I'm not sure this is a magic bullet, could be, going to stick with it a while, one time treatment with anything isn't enough to whip this stuff, that much we know ...

try tea tree oil that used to help with the itches -- just be careful not to burn yourself -

Is there are form of the fenbendazole that can be applied to the skin? I got the safeguard, and chicken me, I'm just going to take enough for the 70 pound dog.Since I am diabetic and have health issues, I thought start small and build.
I got some liquid puppy dewormer and applied it and have gotten lots of white things out, but what really was helpful is an old product I had-ILEX. It's kind of like 'butt paste' but it has peppermint oil in it. It's no longer made, but when I rubbed it on, OMG the stuff came off & kept it up until I washed it off.
Someone tell me if I can find the liquid fen ben for my skin. grs

scandi, I'm doing the SAFEGUARD stuff are you? One packet is only 222 mg of FenBen, last night I did 4 packets, that was the right amount per my weight, calculated for a dog of course, however, that's only 888 mg and you're doing 2500 mg? Perhaps that is why it's not working as well for me? Did you get a prescription or something...

The "Panacur" horse-paste stuff is really quite nice.
White, creamy-stuff artificially-flavored like apples-and-cinammon for the best in horsey-sauce!!
Anyway, I did use some topically on my chin, and it works pretty-well.

Correction, I took three packs for 40 pound dogs, still far less than my wt., about 2 hours ago, with no ill affects whatsoever and I tend to be very sensetive to meds. Some prickling, tickling of the nose, and lots of salt like granules and such showing up on my skin. No nausea. grs

Thanks grsue!
That's my problem as-well, drug sensitivity.
I put some on my finger and put that sublingually (under the tongue).
Wasn't five-seconds and I was sneezing from Herx...
Haven't taken a full-dose yet, but I'll get another attack from critters and will take it when there's no other-way of relief.

lofty, I just did my 2nd does, last night I took 4 packs, tonight 3, however, scandi's first post on page 1 indicates he's doing way more than we are, but don't increase until we figure this out. I'm doing this for like 3 or 4 days in a row. My fear is we're doing to little and these things might build up an immunity. Dogs metabolism is higher I think, which means it passes through thier systems quicker, less would be correct I think, but I'm not sure. I wish somebody could chime in that knows what the accurate human does is for the SAFEGUARD product.

Maybe check-out what this lady did who started this...
She's on the other board, the Yahoo one...
Someone put up a link here someplace....
I think she's doing the standard dosage recommended for dogs, as she mentions Safegaurd.
A LOT of them are into it, but I don't know the ongoing results...(?)

Yes, that's what I thought too, these things could get immune to this stuff, I want to hammer them. I got my stuff, butt I think I'll wait, I got 4 days off coming up, starting saturday. I t hink I'll start Saturday and take alot. But I appreciate the dog and chicken jokes, though. Even not counting morgellons, why don't docs t hink humans should be wormed? I wonder how many other diseases are caused by parasites that could be easily eleminated.

Scandi, DO NOT DRINK ALCHOLOL WITH FenBendazol, it is dangerous. Scandi, is there anyway we can order it here, Can I send you money and have you buy some for me? I'm very worried that we are doing to low a dose here and that it might make them resistant?. I will send you the money, please "pm" me. You say you took 2500mg, so you took 10 of those pills?

Wait, I think we might be okay, can you guys verify this, I think I'm correct. Per this site www.safe-guard-for-dogs.com/ProductLabel.html- 1 dose unit is 1 gram of SafeGuard
- 1 does unit contains 222 mg of FendBendazole
So, one 40 pound (4 gram) packet contains 888 mg of FendBendazole. I did 4 of them the 1st night which would be 3552 mg of FendBendazole Am I correct, I think I am ?
