Found my book at last! Should have taped it to the wall!
It is called the "Therapeutic Herb Manual" 2004 Edition by Ed Smith, I got this at a health food store for $3.95.
It explains the uses, dosages, cautions, and what the herbal blends and compounds contain and in what percentage.
Also each herb seperately.
I had such an immediately good reaction to this Spilanthes Usnea compound. You can find it manufactured by HerbPharm and sold at a discount at www.herbpro.com
It cleanses the tissues, is what the clerk explained to me. Almost immediately my thyroid gland began to work again, and I could no longer take thyroid hormone, which i had been taking for 20 years. I couldn't stand taking the antidepressant Effexor either anymore. Made me dizzy even at a low dose.
Weirdly my nails which always broke and were very short and tender at the base began to grow strong. A heavy ridge emerged at the base and a strong nail has grown out about three-quarters of the length of the nailbed.
What happened? Who knows but changes came in just days. My mind began to feel better. I didn't know anything about Lyme disease. I just now noticed, while reading what to post to you all, that Spilanthes is used to combat Lyme disease.
Coincidence that I started to feel better? hmm I think not.
This is an excerpt from the book, about the SPILANTHES USNEA COMPOUND an Anti-fungal Remedy:
Treats fungal infection of the mouth, stomach intestines, anus vagina nose ear and skin as well as systemic fungal infections. Specific for candidasis (vaginal, intestinal and systemic) apthea (thrush) and stomatitis, ringworm athlete's foot toenail and fingernail fungus, etc.
Internal: 3 to 5 times per day take 30 to 40 drops in a little water.
Topical: Saturate a cotton ball with the compound and wet the affected area several times per day, or tape to the area and leave on until dry. For optimal results, internal doses as described above are also suggested.
Vaginal douche: Mix 2 to 3 teaspoons into 32 ounces of warm water and douche once each day for 5 days - then rest (no douche) for 2 days. If need be, this program can be continued for 3 weeks, then skip a week ( no douches), and then repeat as before. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use or lower strength of douche to tolerance.
The other ingredients are Oregano leaf and flower, Pau d'Arco inner bark and Tea Tree leaf.
USNEA is antimicrobial. Can be used in saline for the nasal passages, in gargle and is good for urinary tract infections.
Of course, those problems improved too, but the $18.00 test said I didn't have a urinary tract infection.
SPILANTHES is a stimulating alterative tonic. enhances immune system function, antibacterial, anti fungal, anti viral, anti malarial. because of the high isobutylamide content, Spilanthes and Prickly ask have similar stimulating and therapeutic actions.
USES: general infection fighter. Fungus infections, candida, thrush, ringworm and athlete's foot. Cold sores and herpes. Colds, flu and respiratory infections, ear infections. Prevention and treatment of malaria and LYME'S Disase. Diminished secretions of mucous membranes.
Can be applied topically full strength.
OREGANO SPIRITS: Circulatory stimulant, mild expectorant, diuretic and emmenagogue. strong antiseptic.. Topically on cuts, abrasions and linament.
PREGNANCY: Consult expert medical advise before taking during pregnancy.
Let me know if anyone has questions. There is a lot of good information in here.
Earlier many were using OLIVE LEAF, as I remember it. Very good heart tonic, for irregular beat, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. Anti Viral.
