Check this product out.
Antibiotic Cream, or Neosporin Cream, can cure your lesions in just a few days. If you don't believe me, go to your local drugstore and pick up a cheap tube for <$5 and watch those babies disappear.
If you guys have any questions at all, please let me know.
The thing that I love about it is that I no longer have to tweeze out the fibers before it will heal. Your lesions will be healed within a week, no joke, I am dead serious-this is working for everyone. You want Neosporin Cream + Pain Relief or Antibiotic Cream + Pain Relief.
Be sure to get the cream, not the ointment.
Thanks,
Host

Dear Host,
I'm sure glad you are having luck with this product because it makes mine worse. I can use Bacitracin-Zinc that a derm gave to me and it doesn't do anything that quickly but it doesn't make it worse either. Hope you continue to have wonderful results! Thanks for posting.
Peace, Hope

Hope,
That's a shame. Some people are allergic to Neomycin. Not sure if that's why it didn't work for you, but it's been working for several people I know w/this.

Count me in for zero efficacy too (except slight activity decrease for the petro version because these fiber crawlers don't like it so they move to adjacent areas but they don't die from it). Does have some benefit for keeping them out of your eyebrows. If you're getting good results with it then maybe you have folliculitis instead? That was one of the first things I tried and I think we'd see more positive feedback if it actually helped Morgellon's cases. Thanks for trying to help tho!

That is one of the first things that I tried on my lesions about 3 or 4 years ago and it had no effect at all. I am glad you are having succes with it but it didn't do a thing for me.

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for posting and replying. It sounds like you all have tried the Neosporin ointment and it didn't work for you - it doesn't work for me either..
I don't know if you all have tried the Neosporin Cream tho, or just the Ointment. Neosporin ointment, or any ointment or vaseline for that matter, aggrivates the $h!t out of these critters. They start coming out and itching like mad. Not so with Neosporin cream. No itching whatsoever, it immediately goes to work and attacks the lesions and kills them in DAYS!
There's a BIG difference, and I know that the two have the same active ingredients, but their mechanism of delivery makes the Neosporin cream actually have the ability to cure lesions. I really want people to try this if they haven't tried Neosporin cream, and if someone on here has tried Neosporin cream, and had it not work for them, please let me know. I could be wrong but it may be that many of the people who tried it used the ointment instead of the cream.
The Neosporin ointment cannot be rubbed ino the skin effectively. It's mainly used to treat wounds and then use a bandaid over. I really do have usp, not folliculitis-although I can see how someone might think that after trying this product, having it not work for them, and reading how it works for me.
Not only does Neosporin CREAM heal lesions (it's worked for me and other people I know with usp and I have seen it work on them) but I did an experiment today before I went into work (which is an infested zone and I itch constantly every day there.)
I used Neosporin cream on just the left side of my body (my arm, hand, torso and leg) and I went into to work. for the first time since I caught this, I was not itching on the left side of my body. I haven't been itchy all day just where I applied it. My right side has been getting bitten all day.
Also, some of you might find this of note. When I got in my car after working (just 4 hours @ my internship) I noticed that the hairs on the left side of my body were mostly standing on end. The hairs on the right side were not.
I have had this issue every since getting symptoms that, whenever I get upset or stressed out, the hairs on one of my legs will just all of a sudden prickle and stand on end like I have goosebumps. But that's just on one leg. Really bizarre.. Anyways...
I am planning on doing some more experimentation but this was one of the best days ever, due to the face that only half of my body was in itching agony.
Thanx for readin all this...take care everyone.

I posted about Neosporin, but no one responded. When my children got impetigo, a Registered Nurse told me to mix Neosporin and Mycitracin fresh each time and put that on the impetigo sores. It worked for the impetigo when the prescription did not!
I don't have the ulcers, so I asked if someone would try it, but no one responded. Don't worry, didn't hurt my feelings. I've learned to be numb. Only BIG stuff bothers me anymore, things that really mean something.

I've learned to be numb. Only BIG stuff bothers me anymore, things that really mean something. I definitely hear you. I don't know what impetigo is..could you tell me a little bit? Is it a bacterial infection? I've posted about stuff before and no one replied, but I know that we're all busy trying to find answers and don't have time to read everything-I know I don't. Some posts just go unnoticed. Speaking of numbness (even though I think you meant numb in a diff way ) I have numbness in my toes and hips. I started using neosporin cream on just one foot and within a few days, much of the numbness had disappeared. Still can't feel a thing on 4 does on the other foot. I just do this so I'll have a way to compare. Neosporin cream has this ability for me to apparently keep me from itching for many hours (although admittedly, I have only used it for one day now) and it also can alleviate digit numbness. There is a warning about Neosporin that says do not use it longer than 7 days-we prolly all know why that one's there-and also not to use it over large areas of the body as it can rarely caused hearing loss. I say that if it can stop you from itching and also cure the numbness from this disease (which I'm pretty sure is a result of the visible nest of eggs that took up residence in 8 of my toenails) then I think I would rather take the chance than worry about to rare possibilty of hearing loss. There's also the issue of antibiotic resistance that's come up frequently with this product, but it's similar to most antibiotic treatments-I think that chance is always there. Just mentioning this b/c I've been checking out this product with several other people who have had it work for them the same, and if it could help anyone on this board I want to get the word out. Also like to mention that when you dab it on a lesion, it keeps the lesion from weeping the little yellowish specks that seem to travel from any open sore to the surrounding area. DOn't know about you all but my open lesions can infect surround skin. Host

When my lesions first appeared Neosporin just happened to be something we had around the house. I started putting the stuff on my sores around the clock - no results - went through a whole tube. Sorry it just did not work for me. Neither did rubbing alcohol, peroxide, calamine lotion, steriod creams.

Victoreah,
Did you use Neosporin Ointment, or Neosporin Cream? I know that there is a huge difference between these two produts..If you had it aruond the house, I would be willing to be money that it was the ointment (with a vaseline like consistency).
Most people have *not* ever tried Neosporin Cream. I can promise you all, that this product is a million times different than Neosporin ointment. The ointment did not do a thing for my lesions except make them itch when the crawlies were disturbed by the petrol.
But Neosporin cream's consisteny allows it to absorb into your skin, letting the ingredients go to work, and as God as my witness[/u], this stuff will heal your lesions.
If ANYONE on this board has tried Neosporin CREAM, not the ointment, could you most kindly reply to me and let me know? I have a feeling that most people have only tried Neosporin ointment, and don't even know that they make a cream.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I just don't want you to be jaded by a previous ineffective experience with the OINTMENT. They are so different from each other! One works, one doesn't.

You can check any supercenter like Walmart, Target, KMart (if they still exist), publix, winn-dixie, any grocery store, as well as any drugstore should carry this product. If one doesn't have it, then another one probably will. Host

No need to thank me, it's my pleasure.
The reason I think that most people haven't used neosporin cream, and have just tried the ointment, is because the they have the same active ingredients, and neosporin cream is a fairly new product. I bet that when people tried the ointment and it did not work, they moved on, not realizeing that there was a cream formula that actually heals lesions faster than anything I've ever seen.
Had I not tried it myself, I wouldn't have thought that it would have worked at all, but amazingly enough, it actually cures my lesions in just days, without me having to dig the nasty little fibers out first.
