Forgot to mention--did anyone notice in the media news in recent past that the honey bee population in this country was severely afflicted with varroa mites this year? They reported it was down 40%--feel strongly this is more than coincidal with the outbreak of this human disease.

They are expected to be down by 80% within 5 years and this will have serious agricultural consequences.
