Getting kinda nervous now. Three days ago, I went to the pharmacy after dark. Every time I moved my head to the left, quick rays of silver would flash on the side of my face. Then I would deliberately look to the left to make sure of what I was seeing, as you shouldn't see flashes of silver light. There was nothing the next day, but when it got dark, I became aware of it again. Tonight is the 3rd night, at 12:07, I became aware of them again, and this time I could see straight flashes above my eye, almost as if you had to look up to see it. It's difficult to explain. Maybe there is something the matter with my eyes, but my husband, my love, won't look at the microscope. For a long time, I've seen a red background with my left eye, and a golden one with my right. Now I see tiny little squiggles that cross over whatever I'm looking at. They are like dark gold tiny balls in a short line, very tiny, and move around, then come back constantly, and cross the view. I can't stand the thought of having my eyes checked, but I'm going to leave that up to you guys, if you think I need to. Last time I went to my eye dr., who is a specialist, she was adamant in telling me "I want you to understand, I don't see bugs in the sides of your eyes. OK. Duh. I wasn't holding my eye lid back far enough, although I didn't say that. I had a recent MRI. Results said there is hip joint space narrowing and irregularity of the right hip with superior joint space narrowing. There is small subchondral cyst noted within the anterior aspect of the superior acetabulum. Very early osteophytes are noted at the right femoral neck. Th ere is small right hip joint effusion. Anyway I have a labral tear in my right hip, I think from when I fell on a marble floor at the hotel in Ireland, when I got out of the bathtub. That was fun, then I hit my head on the toilet. I''m supposed to go to physical therapy, but can't seem to get it in my schedule. I will in time though, because I don't understand any of this stuff except I'm screwed up. Oh, very early osteophytes are noted at the right femoral neck. Think I've heard that osteo word before. In conclusion, several small uterine fibroids. Do I need to get these checked out? I figure they're just morgs, & they don't know what they look like. What about them eyes though? lub, freaky

A couple of years ago I started having flashes of light in my eye. I went to the eye doc and was told that as one gets older the fluid in the eye shrinks and as it shrinks it can pull part of the retina with it. My doctor said it was a normal part of aging. Although he also stated that in some cases it proceeds to complete retinal detachment. My light flashes cleared up. At the time my eyes were examined the doctor also said that he saw a lot of red dust in my vitreous fluid.
I was also having a lot of floaters, could occasionally see dark shapes swimming across my vision and have had small parasites coming out of the corners of my eyes. Of course the doctor did not see any parasites (they must do something to doctors in medical school that causes them not to to be able to see parasites)
I suggest you buy some MSM eyedrops(found them at the health food store) and start using them several times a day. One thing that I have done that has helped keep the parasites and floaters out of my eyes is use a product made by Paragon. It is the tincture that comes in their parasite cleansing kit. I put a few drops of the tincture in a shot glass full of distilled water then use the dropper to apply the mixture into the eye. This has always resulted in alot of dead parasites in the corner of my eye. This procedure is my own invention so proceed with caution.
If the floaters and eye parasites seem to be increasing I take a dose of Ivectermin. I was advised to do this by my doctor. It is effective for knocking back the parasites for a while.

Freaky, Flashes of light perceived peripherally is a lyme symptom. I had them on and off from about late 2004 to last summer. But I think that I only experienced them during the day. www.anapsid.org/cnd/files/mastersymptomlist.pdf(see page 7) I have been losing my vision steadily for at least 10 years. My floaters were bad last year but have subsided this year. The vision loss is the one I fear and mourn the most. I have a lot of pain, discomfort and limping going on because of my right leg. It often feels like the thigh bone is going to pop out of the socket where it connects to the torso. I also have this very sore spot deep in the side of the upper right thigh which (prior to taking magnesium) shot the most awful electrical feelings. Thank God the magnesium has those under control because it was way too painful. I hope your boo boos heal (that fall sounds nasty) and that despite them, you had a great trip to Ireland! Abbie

Glennb, thanks so much for all that info. I'm going to try to pickup all that stuff today, if i ever take my bath, & get off the computer. Much obliged. So there's hope. I don't like this. You're a swell guy. Thanks again.
Princess Ali, your story is pretty heavy. I'm not so sure the sparklies were the subject matter. I really enjoyed reading it. So you just bounced that off your head? What a babe. Princess Ali, you're very deep. May I call on you in the future, if need be, for personal advising? I know you can be silly too, silly.
What in the world did your ophthalmologist have to say about the contacts splitting apart. That is amazing. I think it was due to the fluid cast off by the life snatchers that reside in the corners of our eyes. That's like wow. Contacts are so perfected today, it seems like you could have sued the manufacturer, if you wanted to. Obviously you didn't, which I understand.
Thanks for your input. I'm going to try some baby shampoo, the trick of the Milk Maiden, just because I have some. I can't stand falling apart. I can't get a grasp on getting older, even though I feel like garbage, & all these things are happening, I truly am a geriatric hippie, wrinkled & aged, worn out, but I still think of myself as cute, & darling as I was in my 30's. ha ha ha ha
ha ha hahahahahahah
Hopefully our eyes might improve if we ever do. It's good to know there are others with the same problem. I don't like experiencing things alone.
Abbienormal, have you had an MRI done? Possible you could fix your leg? You probably talked about it in other posts. I have very little recall. It's ridiculous.
Thank you for that article. Too lengthy for me to read now. I printed it though. I think, I bet I may have Lyme, but I've been tested the wrong way, & my dr. says I don't. I'm going to make an appointment with a recommended dr. here in Austin, & I know he'll send my blood to the proper labs.
Back to your leg, your description sounds just like how I felt. Actually, my hip was bothering me before I tore the muscle, & I know it was the morgs. (My inner feelings tell me so, ha ha)
I take injections, & I think they are magnesium, although I keep forgetting I'm supposed to, along with forgetting the name of the injection I take. I'm a mess. It's for my FMS.
Thanks for your suggestions. I hope I can pick that stuff up today.
Your a real babe too. Hope you get better soon.

I'm sorry so many folks are having eye problems because it's so scary when it happens but I do think and hope it will pass once we get all the critters out. I had the same problems in 98 and it got so bad the doctor sent me to eye doctor for a night visit, he thought my retina was detaching but it was not. I'm not surprised when they don't see it (Morgies) The eye doctor I saw did look at me like I was a nut when I told him a fat hair was stuck in my eye and for weeks everytime I'd try to pull it out, it would go back into my eye, deep, where I couldn't get it. I did finally get it out, once I got hold of it and I didn't pull but just held on to it, after a long while it just let go and came on out. It looked like a clear tube hair to me, kinda like plastic. I said yew that dog hair sure got ugly being in my eye ball for so long, didn't know at the time that it was Morgies. And the contact made me think of the time I had a bandaid pulled into my back, talk about freaked out. When i first got full blown I was sure that I was getting all the fiber on my skin from dust, clothing, ect. ect. so I was putting bandaids on my bad lesions thinking it would keep the lesions fiber free, lol. I had my hubby put one on a lesion in the middle of my back, next day it was gone and I didn't think much about that, must have feel off, right. About a week or so later I was having a very bad night, I was in pure hell with my back crawling and stinging all over. I took a soak and when getting dressed I heard something fall to the floor and heard a buzz at about the same time. On the floor was the bandaid all rolled up and full of fibers and there was a very small fly up on my light fixture. I knew then that theses monsters will pull anything into us for nesting and I have a hole in my back to prove it. I'd be afraid to wear contacts because they might try to pull it into the eyeball.

Freaky, Regarding your flashes, I think you should go and have your eyes checked at the eye hospital. I saw the eye doctor twice, once because of the floaters and once when I had severe pains in my right eye, turned out to be bacteria on my eyelid. Anyway, she asked me if I had any flashing but I did not, however, she said if I experienced this to make another appointment.
I am interested in your neck and wondering what the 'osteophytes are noted at the right femoral neck' means as I recently had an x-ray because I have developed a large bony lump at the front right hand side of my neck. The result just came back 'nothing unusual' - although it seems unusual to have the lump!
Now I am wondering if I may have what you are talking about here?

If the fiber optics are in your eyes, the doctor has the responsibility to remove them. Hold them to the fire.

Freaky, Abbynormal is absolutely correct. The flashing lights are just one of many typical Lyme symptoms. I think mine started four or five years ago, and I know without a doubt Lyme struck May 13, 1986.
My flashing lights happened mostly at night and affected both eyes, although the flashes never happened in both eyes at the same time.
Eventually the flashes went away on their own along with the dark brown floaters, so there is hope.
Another mystery for which there is no answer at this time. The flashing lights were more unnerving than the floaters.
I would definitely see an Opthamologist.
Good luck.
How are your facial lesions?

Freaky posted: " Hopefully our eyes might improve if we ever do. "
I just keep buying stronger and stronger reading glasses at the dollar store. Problem is I am now buying the strongest ones they make, 3.00. When I first started having vision problems 2.75 were the stongest ones being made, so maybe with everyones vision going south they will start making some even higher powered reading glasses.
Suebe, I have never had a bandaid pulled into my back but I have had bugs crawl out of my back after first biting a hole through the skin. I was sitting naked on my bed one night when i felt a sharp stinging sensation in my lower right back area. This was followed by the sensation of something crawling down my back from that area. I stood up and turned around to look and saw three bugs on the bed right behind where I had been sitting, They were reddish brown and resembled gangly legged ants. Then I looked at my back in the mirror and noticed a fresh open hole right where I had felt the stinging. Since then I have found this same bug embedded in the lesions on numerous occasions.
Another time I was having trouble with bugs in my ears. One night I tried pouring in a capful of hydrogen peroxide. I kept my head tilted so it could really drain into the ear. Almost immediately a series of white bumps raised on my face and I started to hear the buzzing drone of an insect. This buzzing was coming from deep within the jaw area. I never saw what the insect was but it freaked me out enough that I went to the emergency room (ha ha what a waste of time). When I explained to the doctor about the buzzing I had heard coming from inside my jaw he refused to believe me and said what I was probably hearing was the fizzing of the hydrogen peroxide.
I can't imagine why the doctor thought I couldn't tell the difference between the fizzing popping sound of hydrogen peroxide and the steady droning buzz of an insect.
I have never had trouble with doctors believing what I tell them until I got Morgellons, then was dismayed to find out that doctors would not believe anything I was telling them about about the symptoms I was experiencing from this disease.

Those are the freakiest stories I've ever heard. Wow, & now I'll go to sleep. Crapola, Hannah, the osteophytes (sp?) are fricken bone spurs. I know why I have them. It's from bending over the sink picking my face for 5 years. They're boney projections that grow out of the bone. I just looked it up. So there you have it. Sidney, been meaning to write you, & ask the same question. My face still keeps my obsessive compulsive disorder in tact. I still spend about 8 hours, minimum picking. Now they are getting bigger. Nevertheless, I think the Fenbendazole taken internally is the ticket, & I'm taking the pills, guessing on how much. I just bite off a chunk before bed, & take my milk thistle so my liver doesn't die. I tend to think my face is getting well, but some of these guys are monsters, & I actually think they are fighting with me. The nerve. You have to concentrate on the neck area because that's their hide out, & once your face gets better, up they come. I use Toni's protocol with flour even though Spec said not to use flour on your neck. Then I start squeezing, & as long as I apply, & squeeze, I keep getting one right after the other until I can't do it anymore, or my hand starts to spaz out. The horse paste works well too. They got used to the frankencense, so I'll just give them a little break. I use DMSO with all cept the yogurt. Scarry putting it on your adoms apple but you just get to the point you just don't care anymore. I'm hoping you're doing a lot better now too. If not, I better write, & shake you up. Let me know. O'tay Skytroll, I get the pic, & you all talked me into seeing the eye bitch specialist. Might as well, I can't read any menus at all. Thanks for the info. My gratitude is overflowing. ;D There is hell on earth, freaky Glennb, time to get some real glasses. I bet you'll look like a real hunk if you get some real glasses.

Glennb you are so right-on about the buzzing in the ear. oh yes it's a insect, I got a part of a wing out. Also it got to scratching on my eardrum and hurt so bad. The hospital was no help at all. I think they nest somewhere in there behing the ear canal.

Dear suebe you are so right about them breeding and buzzing in our ears and the itching is terrble. I get them out with vaseline and cotton buds. Best Roberta.
