And Tonisue...that is far from as gross as it gets don't you worry about that !!! But tapes are more like grains of rice... I've had the sesame seeds in my skin at the onset. That's yet another many of us have seen. www.stanford.edu/class/humbio103/ParaSites2006/Dipylidiasis/Body.htmThere's so fun reading. Talks about what a concern this should be for parents with kids that have a family pet. Transmitted by fleas. How come most everybody on the planet don't know these things? I mean...it seems like it seems impossible for one of us to ingest a flea, not like the pet but they show concerns for folks that kiss on or let their dog lick on them. Me and daughter are still guilty of kissin' on our sickly mutt we love...much to boyfriends disgust. Reasonable's right Tonisue you know, you can always send them. Gretchen has my scope right now though...I may just take the sample to her, I don't want the damn thing back. I'm sick of it all but it'd be interesting to see what they are. Whatcha been eatin'?

Carrie,
Thank you for posting that, and are we in tune or what? I was just reading that site from the pics you've posted there, earlier this morn, because of Reasonable's post, which thank you Reasonable for that suggestion too.
They didn't look anything like that though. But thank you, it's good to know "what to look for". I wonder if it's some kind of "debris-there's that word again" from our gut from this stuff and not eggs?
Bugsy, I wonder about those, those tiny crystal things we pick off our skin...could that even occur, do you know.

Tonisue what have you been eating? I hear the gmo stuff will mess you up ;Dhaha kidding. Another immune supressing someting that no doubt about it has a huge role to play in our disease.
No really...sometimes you'll find things in your stool and not even realized you'd eaten that. But then, if you took it in as a sesame seed and it came out as a sesame seed you've got some serious digestion issues. Just like that baby carrot the doctor ding dong says I brought her. Damn how I wish I had that specimen still...it was perfect. I only had a super, cheap kids scope back then and could see the black oval eggs in the body just like they show on the net. Ugh...makes me mad. Anyway...when I would wade in the doo-doo I'd trip off things like pickles and other things that I didn't chew good enough that would come straight out that way.
Off to work with my strep throat...ya'll that don't have to work... be grateful!!!

haha Yeah you're not kidding about "all that's in there" the mysterious goodies in our people cat boxes . One could have a lifetime supply of looking though all that. I'll see if it's consistent, the sesame seeds. How funny too, and I know you're playing, about the gmo ;D that's it! hahahaha it's those organisms. ;D

Reasonable,
Thanks for those links too. Something though, there's nothing "rice like looking" about them. That's what's odd, well, maybe a good thing - I don't know.
Looks just like sesame seeds (on Bugsy's burger bun video) haha They do too.
I think the "stretchy" wormy looking threads I thought "might" be worms of some kind...well, I'm rethinking that.
I think it's the same exact stretchy wormy looking "thread like" stuff that comes out of my facial lesions.
I've been picking again, and yes. Looks the same to the naked eye.
But, if I see it again, I'm baggin it, and going all the way.
(going to really examine it next time)

This message board is beginning to remind me of "Let's Make a Deal" that old game show with Monty Hall. You never know what is lurking behind door number three or number two as it were. LMAO ... you guys make me laugh. tinyurl.com/2nhmdk~Bugsy

I got a stool test done for digestive issues, and the test even looks for tapeworms and round worms and so on.. Insurance payed for it, altho.. I had to send it in myself (yuk).. Here is the name of the lab..
Diagnos-Techs Inc. Ph number, 425-251-0596.
The Dr has to order it of course, find an internist if you dont have a Lyme Dr... dont know if mainstream Drs will do it. They test stool as well as saliva and if insurance covers it, it must be well known or accepted? Maybe this lab can figure out what these things are in you? Tapeworms... yes.. they can look like rice, but Ive seen somewhere where they can look like sesame seeds as well depending on the type.. And no.. I didnt come back positive for any worms.. however.. I do have cryptosporidium as well as Toxoplasmosis. My digestive system is all screwed up and I now have an allergy to Milk, soy, egg and gluten.. My Lyme Doc tells me all of this can be fixed eventually tho... Hope this info helps..

Yes, it does help. Thank you for the info, certainly appreciate that!
Did you get the tests done because you saw what also looked like "sesame seeds"? Or did they look more like 'rice' pieces?
Thank you.

Sesame seeds:
TAPEWORMS (Dipylidium caninum) are the other parasites that can be seen by the dog owner. Actually, what the dog owner with observe is tapeworm segments that have broken off from the adult parasite attached to the lining of the dog’s intestinal tract. These tapeworm pieces are ¼ - ½ inch in length, are usually white and are usually seen (while still alive) contracting and expanding around the dog’s rectum or on a dog’s stool immediately after elimination. Once these segments die, they will appear like a grain of uncooked wild rice or a sesame seed and are often found in the dog’s bedding. The most common route of infection occurs when the dog swallows a flea that is carrying the parasite’s eggs. Tapeworms cannot be directly transmitted from dogs to humans but small children could accidentally ingest flea larvae or pupae on the floor containing an immature tapeworm and get a tapeworm infection. Deworming can be done by either oral medication or by injection and the most common antiparasitic agent used is praziquantel another is epsiprantel.
