Saying that I was wrong in this case would have been allright. or Hogwash works. That's not very nice.

Poor freakers....... I bet that's been pure misery. I'm so sorry. The only thing I can suggest is some bacitracin cream for your face (can get it at wal-mart) and a light wash with baby shampoo followed by a warm water rinse for your eyes. I sure hope you've found something to help you, you sweet person you! You sure don't deserve to have all of that happening to you.
love ~~ bannanny

Niels, Forgot all about that oinment. I used that a few years ago (probably 4 years ago) and it did help alot until I ran out. Don't remember why I never ordered more. Probably a money thing at the time I think that was the first thing I ever used on my eyes. When I went to the Moran eye center in SLC to have them look at my eyes the Dr there told me that that everyone had granules coming out of their eyes. Say what? She went on to write a letter stating that I was delusional and sent it out to every Dr I had ever seen stating I was using unusual and dangerous ointment from another country and that I thought I had something wrong going on with my body and eyes... It was a swell letter... But yes that stuff really did help me. Thanks for the reminder....

yeah, niels. Thanks. I am researching the demodex thing. I am sure a mite is involved. Might be a super-demodex or another, but i think it is one part of the puzzle.

Freaky,
Early on, all it took to cause major movement was Neem Cream. One time I lightly covered my nose and woke the next day to extreme sinus and head pain. Apparently they moved from the immediate area to both sides of the sinuses and to the middle of the forehead and eyebrow area. I said "they" because at this point it was more "creatures" than fiber. Mostly worm varieties.
Then I started using Black Walnut & Wormwood Complex. I was advised by Marc to use this inside and outside the nose to keep the creatures from closing the passages. Again, major movement, much scarring, and pain, BUT much worse. This by far is the strongest mover I have found.
I still use the Peroxide 3.5% solution from the grocery store and salt, to soak in. This is the only way I have found to remove fungus that has adhered to the passages. That is, if it has not been there long. However Freaky, this will cause movement also. I put my entire head straight down in 1 cup peroxide and 1/2 canister of salt, mixed in 6 inches warm bath water. I hold my breath and stay, and blink my eyes several times until I have to come up. I do this about 6 times. This forces the disease up to the eyebrow area, possibly irritating your optic nerve also. Now, to further confuse you. I get out the Black Walnut immediately following the bath. Mix it with Dsp. One drop Walnut to one teaspoon DSP. I use my finger to get a very small dab of the mixture, and place it between the eyebrows. Rub it in a little. So far this has kept the fungus & creatures from stampeding the area.
I never used Ketoconazole on a specific area. Thank you for the warning. That is the key right there. Beware of treating a specific area with anything, unless there are others who have done similar without side effects.
I cannot say what the peroxide does to your hair or your eyes for that matter. I no longer have real hair, except for the top layer. But logically it must dry out both. However, I am at the stage where my eyes are constantly swimming in gel and fluid and the webbing must be removed.
To solve your specific eye problems, ... Maybe a trip to an eye specialist would be the best plan. Has anyone gone?

Neils, I just faxed my dr. with the info. I called earlier, but they're not too efficient. Thanks so much for your response. I feel really special. (not Kidding)
Thanks again for all you guys sympathy, & suggestions. They are all great, & I will be trying them too. My dr. is anything but prompt. I see you can imagine what I would be going through if I didn't have my eyelashes to bat around. Honestly, I'm so vain, I wouldn't leave the house. I would look like one of those little people off the space ships. I am so appreciative to all of you for your responses. God Bless, freaky
PS. I really wanted to respond to each of you personally, I'm so grateful, but it's getting dark, & I have to fix my eyes, & take the dogs, & my hub for a walk. I love you.

been using the Ketoconazole cream on a rather large lesion. Still looks bad but its not thriving like it did. Its peeling little by little , not like the thick psuedo skin that was ever present before. I also have been rotating the K Cream with Permithrin cream and Sargeant's Hot Spot Vetscription.
not saying this is right for everyone, but its progress for me. Like Toni recommends, even with the cream stuff i use the milk thistle in conjunction now with all meds .
