Since the inception of Lymebusters the Administrators have strived to provide a safe haven and a place for Morgellons and Lyme sufferers to come for support on many avenues. We also wanted Lymebusters to be a place where the medical community as well as the general public, our family, and friends could come to gain better insight and a realistic understanding of our plight in order to help us reach our ultimate goals: acceptance, appropriate treatment, and a cure.
This has been a major undertaking considering we work with people from many walks of life with different needs. Rarely a day goes by where issues do not arise that need to be addressed with the utmost care and diplomacy in an effort to maintain and reach those goals.
We have been somewhat lenient in the structure and enforcement of the rules and running of LB in an effort to please a majority with our diverse membership in mind.
Over the past months several concerns have been voiced privately and publicly. These concerns have not fallen upon deaf ears. We are human and capable of admitting and assessing our faults and acting accordingly. It is clear more structure and some reformatting of the forums is necessary to best address all concerns. This process and the reasoning behind it has been in the works for some time which brings us to this announcement. Unfortunately, our lives in general have prevented implementation sooner.
Please review the Rules and Regulations, and note that a restructuring and implementation process will be ongoing and extensive. There may be times (hopefully brief) that LB may be inaccessible to a degree in order to expedite the process; however we will try to prevent this.
Thank you for your continued support of us, your fellow Members, and this forum in general.
