Today's newspaper (Review Journal - Las Vegas and the Washington Post) Microscopic, high-tech "nanotubes" that are being made for use in a wide variety of consumer products cause the same kind of damage in the body as asbestos does, according to a study in mice that is raising alarms among workplace safety experts and others.Within days of being injected into mice, the nanotubes -- which are increasingly used in electronic components, sporting goods and dozens of other products -- triggered a kind of cellular reaction that over a period of years typically leads to mesothelioma, a fatal form of cancer, researchers said. The new study, led by Ken Donaldson of the MRC/University of Edinburgh Centre for Inflammation Research, tracked the short-term effects of various kinds of carbon nanotubes and asbestos fibers injected into the animals' abdomens, near the mesothelium, tissue surrounding the lungs and other organs. The mesothelium is where certain kinds of asbestos fibers tend to migrate after being inhaled. The longer nanotubes caused granulomas, early cellular changes that can eventually lead to cancer. "We've got to have the right research and really fast," said Andrew Maynard of the Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies in Washington, a co-author of the new research report. "We've got to have a strategy in place. But no matter what the government says, if you look at it, there is not a clear vision of where they need to be or a plan of how to get there." They have been advertisting this Mesothelium all the time on TV with lawyers saying (if you've got Mesothelium contact so and so)...and I sure never knew this all had to do with (nanotubes) from consumer products infecting people! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MesotheliumFunction of the mesothelium which is what's affected by the nanotubes: The mesothelium is composed of an extensive monolayer of specialized cells (mesothelial cells) that line the body's serous cavities and internal organs. The main purpose of these cells is to produce a lubricating fluid that is released between layers, providing a slippery, non-adhesive and protective surface to facilitate intracoelomic movement. The mesothelium is also implicated in the transport and movement of fluid and particulate matter across the serosal cavities, leukocyte migration in response to inflammatory mediators, synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines, growth factors and extracellular matrix proteins to aid in serosal repair, and the release of factors to promote the disposition and clearance of fibrin (such as plasminogen). It is an antigen presenting cell. Furthermore, the secretion of glycosaminoglycans and lubricants may protect the body against infection and tumor dissemination. (Isn't this what's been found in the fibers? The glycosaminoglycans)

The abstract says: Carbon nanotubes have distinctive characteristics, but their needle-like fibre shape has been compared to asbestos, raising concerns that widespread use of carbon nanotubes may lead to mesothelioma, cancer of the lining of the lungs caused by exposure to asbestos. Here we show that exposing the mesothelial lining of the body cavity of mice, as a surrogate for the mesothelial lining of the chest cavity, to long multiwalled carbon nanotubes results in asbestos-like, lengthdependent, pathogenic behaviour. This includes inflammation and the formation of lesions known as granulomas. sciencex2.org/en/node/20049And: Granulomas are seen in a variety of diseases such as Crohn's disease, tuberculosis, leprosy, sarcoidosis, berylliosis and syphilis. It is also a feature of (((( Wegener's granulomatosis ))))and Churg-Strauss syndrome, two related autoimmune disorders. As in this article of what this causes, is Wegener's Granulomatosis. This was the (official cause of death to Cheryl Warren *Cherry* as we called her). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Granuloma

I was thinking of doing the NIH research but after reading this article I am so angry I can spit. The government and the powers that be know exactly what is going on with us BUT they don't know how to fix it and they will cover it up for various economic reasons.
In the meantime we will all run around like chickens without heads looking for answers, spending money, becoming guinea pigs and moving on to bigger diseases like cancer all the while the b*stards make believe they don't know what is going on.
So to cover their arses they are saying: "here look at this we are doing research here, we are doing research there, we are trying to help you." BULLSH*T!

I knew because of the NIH involvement that this was as you said BS--- Here is a bio of one person that KNEW--along with his suit! If you go to his link; you will see devices he worked on-- Dave Larson has been involved in the development of government funded implantable medical device technology since March 1997, as a Biomedical Engineering student, research subject, Microsoft Certified Technician, programmer and FCC licensed operator KI6JJN. This site details the ongoing legal effort regarding criminal misconduct and abuse of Defense Special Access Program provisions, and a campaign for government ethics and reform. A "Special Access Program" (or "SAP") is described as "a uniform system for classifying, safeguarding, and declassifying national security information" by the U.S. Department of Defense, more commonly known as "black projects". This site details one such project that may well be the darkest, blackest, highly classified project ever to recieve public exposure. Extensive research efforts, ongoing legal efforts, and Freedom of Information requests have resulted in the factual data, and comprehensive documentation explicitly detailing U.S. Government efforts to develop implantable medical device technology for deployment as a Defense Tactical Weapon, and Intelligence Tool. What began in 1997 as an inquiry has evolved into a moral and ethical dilemma that has personnel from the NIH (Hambrecht, Heetderks and Loeb), the United States Dept. of Defense (Col. Ling, and OSD components), the FBI, and Defense Contractor, the Alfred E. Mann Foundation, committing acts of felony criminal misconduct, fraud, and civil rights violations under the protections of "National Security", the Patriot Act and governmental contractual obligations. Civil litigation is being sought in the interest of justice and public interest. More at his home page with devices, this link is loaded: www.larsonmedia.net/special_access/biomed.htm ------------------------------------------- It all ties in; the more you look the more you see-- Many Blessings, CrystalRiver Found at this link: www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=124678I wish to once again express my thanks to all those at this board working so hard on research of not only the organism but on what the true story is. greeneyes

I SURE know what you mean. I could scream too! And I can't hardly believe this!!!
This is just incredible!
You know, on tv here, there's sooo many lawyers saying about this Mesothelium, and who on earth would ever affiliate that 'with NANOTUBES' but these lawyers are hungry for clients, so they keep advertising.
I'm going to write them and ask them more about this, because I'm sure wondering what others "symptoms" are regarding the nanotube infections.
And you're so right....they KNOW. OMG

Don't these sort of look familar? This pic is from the article. Click on link below for larger pic. Now...here's why I kept thinking it was the "dicty's" as in Angela's post...because the "top of the fiber is shaped like this" in my drawing. These are the dicty...and the only reason for this pic, is cause they have that same (spade shaped head)...but I sure didn't know that the carbon nano tubes look like the same as the asbestos does too. This is asbestos, which is similar to the nanotube infection these cause to the mesothelium! www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/pagerender.fcgi?artid=1886892&pageindex=6Please look at this article too, ( IT'S VERY IMPORTANT) icon.rice.edu/resources.cfm?doc_id=12299

abbienormal... you nailed it!!!!!!!
You are exactly right in your thoughts...
greeneyes, yes.. searching for the organism but at the same time I have a feeling this whole stroy is connected to it ALL!!!
It is my pleasure to be here with all of you in our quest, on our mission and our journey.

Paris news! PARIS (AFP) - Scientists delivered a warning Tuesday about nanotechnology after tests on lab rodents found that microscopic, needle-like fibres that are already in commercial use led to lesions similar to those caused by asbestos. If the mice had been allowed to carry on living, cancer would most probably have developed where the fibres were present, he told AFP. A large body of research already exists about the potential of nanoscale fibres to attack the lungs. But this is the first study to show that a form of nano-technology called carbon nanotubes can have the same damaging impact on the mesothelium. tinyurl.com/464fbg(more info in the article)

right after I posted the last post my page refreshed and brought me back to the thread, at the top. What did I see there? An advertisement "Got Mesothelioma?"... like "Got Milk" and a lawyers name and contact info.... timing couldn't have been more perfect. The lawyers that handle these cases make big $ , that's how they can afford to pay for the advertisements. godsgrace

I see they're talking about asbestos and the mesothelium, but not the carbon Nanotubes how that TOO infects the mesothelium in the body as in the latest articles above.

They originally thought asbestos was the casue of meso.. however, they only found asbestos in 80% of the patients... It isn't the underlying cause, however, it may be the "Trigger" (asbestos) godsgrace

And here is my video ((( please look at the head of this fiber's shape when I focus it in more)) www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebY7JL9kHLcThat was the video where I had a needle with a drop of water on it...and this fiber (with that wierd shaped head, reacted to it) The fiber does the back bend and holds that position because it want's away from my needle with the drop of water on it. Please see it to the end, and you'll see. Then when I touch it with the water....it dies.

The alive fibers (I call them alive cause they move and twirl and whip around on my needle tip always after I remove them) ALL come out of this one lesion I have left ((( on my face ))).
I've got so much activity going on in that one lesion I have left, I can't even begin to tell you.
Everything I wear, whether it's blue, black or white....a "thread" will end up INSIDE deep of that lesion the next day.
I also had posted on the other thread (asking if that pic was a fluke) but I do believe it's a Turbellarian/Planarian...which those suckers are in this lesion too. I've got everything in this "one lesion" but the kitchen sink...and I'm sure if I were to dig deep enough...I might find that too ;D kidding about that - cause I have to..cause it's HORRIBLE.
The "clear thinner than hair fibers"...as you see in the video...they look clear yet whitish (transparent) those suckers move like they're alive...but only for about 20 minutes...then they seem really to "die out".
Like the energy runs out of them.
Because when they first come out of the lesion (I pick them out) they are moving so fast you can't keep an eye on them. Then they slooooow way down, till they die - or run out of energy.

In my last lung x-ray (probably 2 yrs. ago) granulomas were found in my lungs. Guess it's time for another one.
Those things up there do have the same spade looking heads as some of our fibers toni. Interesting..... yet again, eh?

Dearest Bannanny YES IT IS TIME THAT YOU HAD ANOTHER LUNG XRAY!!!!!! Don't postpone it!!!!! I am having all sorts of tests and they are finding all sorts of things inside me.So please go soon. The earlier the better and when they find nothing your mind will be at ease but if they do find something the quicker they find it the better for you. Much love and hugs. Robbie

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_granulomatous_diseasePeople with CGD are sometimes infected with unique organisms that usually do not cause disease in people with normal immune systems. Some of the organisms that cause disease in CGD patients are Staphylococcus aureus, Escheria coli, Klebsiella species, Aspergillus species, and Candida species. In this disease we do not fight off foriegn organisms. Good Information everyone, lilsissy I have had dreams that this will be the key to finding a cause for morgellons this from the above link, A low level of NADPH, the cofactor required for superoxide synthesis, can lead to CGD. This has been reported in women who are homozygous for the genetic defect causing glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (G6PD), which is characterised by reduced NADPH levels. The dreams tell me it is in the phosphate action.
