Diagnostic Hints And Treatment Guidelines For Lyme And Other Tick Borne Illnesses, by Joseph J. Burrascano Jr., M.D. ( Fourteenth Edition, November, 2002).
Available online at www.ilads.org/burrascano_1102.htm
Borrelia
(Borreliosis, neuroborreliosis; also known as Lyme Disease)
Spread primarily though the bite of infected ticks that live on a wide range of mammalian species; secondary human-to-human transmission through semen, breast milk, and possibly in utero.I wanted to add that I personally think that Lyme is no longer primarily transmitted through tick bites. I believe it is now vectored amongst many biting arthropods and I am beginning to question whether transmission can occur from through other forms as well. That is better left to another discussion.
There are many diverse symptoms associated with Lyme Disease, and remember, it is a spirochete disease as is Syphilis and Leptospirosis and can there for "mimic" a whole slew of diseases:___Bladder dysfunction
___Burning or stabbing sensations
___Cardiac impairment, Chest pain, heart block, heart murmurs, heart palpitations, heart valve prolapse, EKG disturbances
___Change in bowel function
___Confusion, difficulty thinking, difficulty with concentration and reading, difficulty finding words; name blocking, forgetfulness, difficulty in speech and writing.
___Depression
___Disorientation, getting lost, going to wrong places, the "all of the sudden realization you can't remember where you were going"
___Poor attention, balance, short term memory, problems absorbing new information
___Disturbed sleep, too much, too little, fractionated, early awakening, fatigue, tiredness, poor stamina, unavoidable need to sit or lay down
___Ears/Hearing: buzzing, ringing, ear pain, sound sensitivity, hearing noises that may not necessarily be there.
___Exaggerated symptoms or worse hangover from alcohol
___Eyes/Vision: double, blurry, increased floaters, light sensitivity
___Facial paralysis (Bell's palsy)
___Headache, Vertigo, Wooziness
___Increased or disproportional motion sickness
___Irritability, mood swings, sexual dysfunction or loss of libido, vertigo
___Irritable bladder
___Joint pain or swelling, neck creaks or cracks, stiffness
___Muscle pain or cramps, numbness, shooting pains, tingling, tremors
___Pelvic pain
___Rib soreness
___Shortness of breath, cough
___Skin hypersensitivity
___Sore throat, often recurrent
___Swollen glands
___Testicular pain
___Unexplained breast pain, milk production, menstrual irregularity
___Unexplained fevers, sweats, chills or flushing

Here are some mind blowing pictures of Lyme Biofilm. Add in a parasite and we have something like Morgellons. Lyme is the super spirochete. Where as the Leptopspiro and Syphillis spirochetes only have around the order of three plasmids, Lyme spirochetes have 22 plasmids!!!!! What is a plasmid? Basically it allows information from the biofilm community to pass back and forth and gives the Lyme spirochete the ability to form defenses against what we use to try to kill it. Thats 22 of them, versus the three of Syphillis. tinyurl.com/ce8p2n

I know I have read there are five forms of Lyme spirochetes, and although I haven't checked, I swear I read it on the lymeinfo website or maybe one of the links from it?? 1- Spirochete 2- Cell Wall Deficient 3- Cyst Form 4- Bleb Form 5- L-Form Here is another link in which can help us sufferers learn how crafty this infection really is. This link also provides some great pictures to illustrate the principals introduced. I don't think it is too "techy" and can explain a lot about how the forms are capable of functioning and taking over. www.lymeinfo.net/medical/LDAdverseConditions.pdf Also, its important to realize what biofilm really is. It is a relatively new ideology to mainstream although they have been exploring its concepts in science research for awhile now. A lot of the "newness" is due to confirmation by new technology, making its visualization possible and there for its ability to be based on tangible evidence versus hypothesis. Biofilm can be thought of as a community or better multiple office buildings housing many different businesses. It has its structural support like the framing of the office building does. On that framing, it provides support for the invading bacteria. In turn bacteria also provide support for viruses, fungi, metals, parasites, and the debris all this creates. In biofilms, it is structurally important because through quorum sensing, the separate entities of the community can communicate. By communicating, these entities can then exchange information as well as lateral genetic mutations. An evolution of the organism so to speak. By exchanging information, the entities can then communicate between each other and employ their evasion tactics to the things we use to kill these entities. Thus forming what we know as resistance. Additionally, the community is then a functional layer of protection for the community as a whole. And will explain the "layers of the onion" analogy we hear so often in trying to treat our disease. So, there are layers upon layers of differing entities within one community and there are many communities within our bodies. Additionally, the biofilms are not in MHO limited to Lyme and its co-infections but also incorporate the bacteria and others normally found in our bodies and also those infections we may be exposed to before and/or after the effects of Lyme and company have on our immune systems. Its this ability of biofilms that we are fighting and why the fight lasts so long and goes in "cycles". Its due to this, that we are rotating and pulsing differing things in order to address the "layer" issues. IMHO, when affecting a layer, you are killing some organisms or even maybe most organisms, but not all. I really feel its due to the diverseness of the entities and why I feel its important to address all the concerns I posted in one of my previous posts. If you are only taking antimicrobials, then you have nothing additional to address the other entities of the community in that layer which you are treating. Frito

Hi Everybody! I just thought I would forward this information that a dear friend has sent to me. Especially for our Aussie friends. XibURGENT URGENT URGENT Please listen to this with anybody who genuinely wants to help and be educated on the fastest emerging disease in the world, this is a radio show with special guest (LLND), the exceptionally wise and highly Lyme Literate Dr Nicola Mcfadzean, it is a clear, easy to understand presentation into Lyme facts and she mostly focuses on Australia and the problems the sufferers have getting medical assistance here for Lyme and the continual misdiagnoses. Ideally get a few together at once and set aside 45 minutes with some really good coffee, or Champers, it is well worth it, everybody, especially all Doctors should be encouraged to listen to this. www.blogtalkradio.com/drloradio/2011/06/30/lyme-disease-with-dr-nicola-mcfadzean Kind regards Jodie

bad news but many of us have thought this... rense.com/general94/provenlym.htmProven - Lyme Disease Is Spread By Mites, Spiders, Mosquitoes, Fleas It Is Also Spread Via ALL Body FluidsBy Patricia Doyle, PhD 8-3-11 Hello Jeff - We said this many years ago on your program and here it is. Lyme disease can be transmitted via contact with body fluids, such as urine, tears, semen, contaminated blood and breast milk. We discussed the contaminated blood spread a couple of months ago. Lyme was transmitted to people who had blood transfusions. Also, the deer tick is not the only means of spread, fellow arachnid the spider, biting flies, fleas and mites are just some of the culprits that spread Lyme. So, reducing deer populations by slaughtering these magnificent animals will do nothing to end Lyme Disease spread. Even adding to the slaughter all birds and deer mice and small mammals would not help stop Lyme. That biowar genie has been out of the bottle for too many generations, thanks to our "Plum" friends. Patty Treating Lyme Disease Naturally Posted by Delia Quigley Jul 30, 2011 filed under: Alternative Therapies, Blogs, Diet & Nutrition, General Health, Health & Wellness, Natural Remedies, Rejuvenate your Body with Delia Quigley, antibiotics, Healing Lyme, lyme disease, spirochete It may begin with flu like symptoms, headache, chills, and body pains. That is, if you're lucky enough to know you've been bitten by an infected tick. However, some people won't know, because Lyme disease can also be transmitted by contact with body fluids such as urine, tears, semen, contaminated blood and breast milk. Plus, it is not only ticks that now carry the Lyme spirochete, but also mites, spiders, mosquitoes, fleas and biting flies. Antibiotics, whether administered in a one month protocol or taken intravenously for several years, has been the only way allopathic medicine has treated Lyme disease. For many this form of treatment has successfully eliminated the debilitating symptoms, while for others antibiotics have only offered short-term relief. According to Stephen Harrod Buhner, author of Healing Lyme, 80 percent of blood tests performed to detect the presence of Lyme come back negative. This, he claims, is due to the spirochete's ability to hide inside cells and body tissues rather than body fluids and blood, to quickly arrange its gene structure in order to hide from antibiotics and fit into the host's body, all while avoiding their immune system. In addition to bacteria, Lyme ticks can also transmit Babesia species, a small protozoan, which only complicates the disease further. There are a number of natural protocols, using herbs, diet and energy treatments that have helped many people suffering from Lyme disease. Some are listed here not as a medical cure, but as alternative treatments to help alleviate Lyme symptoms. It is difficult to say what will work for one person and not for another, so it is recommended you work with an experienced health practitioner to determine the right supplements for you to take. It is important to remember that herbs are medicine and should be treated with respect as to dosage and use over time. "With regard to high temperature, both B. burgdorferi and T. pallidum lack factor 32 (6, 7), a primary mediator of the heat-shock response, although some evidence exists that B. burgdorferi can mount a heat shock response while T. palladium cannot. In vitro cultivation of B. burgdorferi at various temperatures demonstrates that the spirochete replicates most quickly at 37°C. An increase in temperature to 39°C retards growth significantly, while a 24 hour exposure at 41°C kills all spirochetes in the culture. Therefore, the optimal growth temperature of B. burgdorferi is only 4°C below the upper lethal limit. The low tolerance of spirochetes for high temperatures is well known and may explain in part the restricted distribution of B. burgdorferi to temperate latitudes and its absence in the tropics, where infected ticks may be exposed to high temperatures detrimental to spirochete survival. Interestingly, the thermal sensitivity of T. palladium was exploited in the early 1900s prior to the discovery of penicillin by using fever therapy with malaria or relapsing fever infection to treat patients with general paresis (31). I found this and my first thought was this is a joke, but after discussing this , it may work. Or i just go to the tropics where its really hot, and Lyme isn't in the tropics, go figure, i need a holiday.
Lyme disease can be cured very easily by placing your forehead on an electric fence designed to hold cattle.simply put your forehead on the wire to receive the shock.over the next week all symptoms will go.two brothers had Lyme's,one by accident touched the elect fence with his head,,cured so his brother tryed it ,,cured. true story
Honestly, never occurred to me to treat anything with high voltage electricity...till now, that is.....

Dr. Fry is doing some exciting work on a new biofilm-forming protozoan previously referred to as FL1953 and only recently renamed to Protomyxozoa rheumatica, a highly immunosuppressive microorganism. He refers to it as the premier pathogen.
I recently had the opportunity to attend a lecture by Dr. Stephen Fry MD as part of Dr. Klinghardt's recent "Beyond Lyme" conference. I'm still working on my notes from that event and will post them soon. In the meantime, I just listened to a radio interview from Dr. Fry which can be found here.
Some of the key points from the the radio interview:
FL1953 is a new, unique protozoan organism that is found in people with CFS, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. People with Morgellon's also have evidence of the organism. In Morgellon's, Dr. Fry talked about this new protozoan possibly suppressing the immune system such that a fungal/mycelial condition then develops leading to the symptoms of Morgellons. Dr. Fry discussed the use of Tetracyclines, Zithromax, Plaquenil and other options, but more interesting were his other recommendations. One of the future projects his lab is working on is to complete sensitivity testing of various therapies for this new protozoan. He shared that diet is very important. The protozoan loves lipids (fats) and that lipid restriction via low-fat diets has been a very powerful tool. Lipids and fatty acids also play a role in the formation of biofilms which seem to collapse with lipid restriction. He discussed the benefits of a whole food, plant-based diet full of bioflavanoids; which themselves act as an antibiotic. He suggested that many people with chronic illness may struggle with wheat not due to the gluten content but due to the high arginine which the FL1953 protozoan thrives on.
Many of these concepts are still emerging, but it appears that Dr. Fry's protozoan may be an important piece of the puzzle. I recently had blood drawn to test for this organism and biofilms with Dr. Fry's lab and will post a blog about my results on my site when they are available. For information on tests available from Fry Labs,

Fry Laboratories is led by Dr. Stephen Fry and has offered testing in the TBI arena for the past few years. They currently offer testing for Borrelia, Anaplasma, Bartonella, Ehrlichia, Coxiella burnetti, Rickettsia, Plasmodium, Babesia, Toxoplasma, XMRV, and FL1953. FL1953 is the current name for a novel new organism that Dr. Fry and his team have observed in patients with a wide range of chronic diseases. As I understand, FL1953 is a biofilm-forming protozoan with characteristics similar to Babesia and malaria.

Electricity, every time i read about this as a cure , i get excited.
ELECTRICITY
04/07/2011: Michael from Houston, Texas writes: "Morgellons is a bio-electrical organism. Microscopic evidence shows tiny light emitting organisms.
Because of the electrical nature of these creatures they are resistant to chemicals. Chemicals have a limited effect because the body is always cleansing itself by eliminating foreign substances through the liver and bladder. The effectiveness of chemicals is temporary and mediocre. The reason for the difficulty in finding a cure is that everyone is trying to fight an electrical problem with chemicals. We must fight these organisms by attacking their electrical metabolism. Therefore electricity is the logical solution for a cure. Electrical circuits are affected by electrical signals and magnetism. This effect can be seen in AM radios or in older TVs when a powerful CB operator is nearby. Interference is caused affecting their performance. This concept is used by the military to knock out enemy communications through destructive interference. A very powerful signal is transmitted which is picked up by the enemy stopping their ability to communicate. The basis for my theory are established scientific principles of signal propagation. Morgellons lives in a non-electrical environment, the blood stream. If a very small amount of electrical energy is introduced into the blood stream, a disruption of the organism's life processes results. The organism dies and it eliminated out of the body. As a sufferer of Morgellons for eight years, on March 24, 2011 I tested this theory on myself using a device. I am now cured.
Even though I have explained the theory behind the disruption of electrical circuitry and its relation to this organism, there will always be those that doubt. There will always be those that search for a medical miracle from some form of medicine. So far, modern pharmacology doesn't have the answer. People are suffering needlessly and some are even dying. This problem is unique so we must think outside of the box by putting away old ideas which don't work and be willing to accept new concepts if we are to survive. This is a challenge which we cannot lose , our lives depend on it.
I've tried every lotion, potion ,pill, bath, herbal remedy i can, as soon as i get my Lyme diagnoses, this is it Ive had a gut full, i"m gonna reclaim my life , and i will.
Think positive happy thoughts , people.

What does a metal implant have to do with the zapper working.
I have staples and teeth with metal.
Also lets say you hook positive on one leg and negative on the other leg, electricity will take the shortest path to ground, it will not go into the torso.
An electric circuit must have a positive and negative. The appliance can be as simple as a lite bulb or toaster, glowing coils is what does the work in both cases,

What does a metal implant have to do with the zapper working. Baraka, I believe sheredelight is being cautious & rightly so. Warning!Do not use any Zapper type product if you are wearing a pacemaker or if you are pregnant. NoticeWhile most users with metal implants do not report problems, there may be complications from zapping if you have metal implants. I understand the pace maker caution, but metal, hmmmm, chemical reactive breakdown maybe, on things such as stints possibly. Oh well guess I better use the heck out of my zapper before I am told I need stints, or get a pace maker.
