Crude oil, Corexit and now, Snake Oil to fix it December 23rd, 2010 www.examiner.com/human-rights-in-national/gulfleak-from-crude-oil-to-snake-oil""Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS) is being touted on the Internet as a natural antibiotic and cure-all for a wide range of diseases and afflictions: colds and flu (including swine flu), malaria, cancer, 'HIV & AIDS,' fungus, and, more recently, autism. But MMS is actually a synthetic industrial chemical - it is a concentrated (28%) chlorine bleach - sodium chlorite... This means that if you consume MMS you will end up with these compounds - which cause cancer - inside you. ("What is Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS) and why is it dangerous?" (Campbell, J, Natural Therapies that Work, Online: www.cqs.com/mms.htm)"At the very start of this, the most important thing I recommended to people in the south," stated Mr. Rense, was to get an ozone air purifier so at least when they are inside, they have clean air to breathe. You've got to have refuge."""

I saw this in today's news about our nutrition: health.yahoo.net/experts/eatthis/truth-about-your-weight-gain"How did we all get so darn fat? Are we suddenly more gluttonous? No. There’s an even crazier reason: It’s the food! We’ve added extra calories to traditional foods, often in cheap, mass-produced vehicles like high fructose corn syrup. These new freak foods are designed not by chefs, but by lab technicians packing every morsel with maximum calories at minimum cost—with little or no regard to dietary impact." Try to eat as natural as you can...

I'm just waking up and reading your posts and thinking... last night we cut an apple and some cheese but couldn't eat it all - so, I just left it on a plate here away from the kitchen and I see the plate this morning... and the apple hasn't turned brown yet, it's almost 10 hours later. (This is a yellow/green skin apple, not a red one.)
I remember when I was there - I think the apples would start turning brown shortly after I cut them? I know this experiment means something important to us, just not sure what would cause the difference? Thinking - does the rain water there have more iron in it - or - is this environment less condusive to oxidization?
The next time someone cuts an apple to eat it, will you cut a piece with the peel on it, leave it sitting out and observe how long before it turns brown?

I was talking with my sister last night and her daughter, my niece, had her mitochondrial DNA traced back to the 13th century and we're from Spain and Finland on my mother's side. My mother just passed the week before Christmas this year... she was 89 and her cousin just passed this week who is full-blooded German too... she was 94. God is calling home his angels.
Well, I just thought my mother was full-blooded German - Spain and Finland?, why they aren't even close! Did some macho Viking come down to Spain and spy my great-great-great-great grandmother and sweep her off her feet and take her back to Finland or did they settle in Spain? They probably settled in Spain and then migrated up to Germany. Who ever heard of Finland today, are they in the news at all - do they really exist? lol... you never hear a word from them.
I went to a 'beer tent' recently (a social gathering place - not a 'beer joint') lol... where the men and women wear the traditional Bavarian clothes and dance on the wooden dance floor with a live orchestra band playing the traditional music... very enjoyable to see the traditions of thousands of years still being done today.
Anyway, I love Latin music, I feel 'Latin' on the inside, now I know why - and Jeany is definitely part Spanish - you can just tell by looking at her - and we both love Latin music especially the Salsa. There's this one song that comes on the CD player that both of us start dancing to in our car seats and tossing our sombreros out the window to celebrate the song.
I see on youtube where this guy who sings the song came to Bavaria, this is a live concert. My point is... you can see how some of the Germans love the Mexican/Spanish music, look at these Germans 'getting down'?... And, this is what they want to take away from us - our heritages, our flavor, this is what makes each country special and individual... we should celebrate our differences, 'viva la differance'.
'La camisa negra' - means - 'the black shirt', I think he's singing about how sexy he looks in his black shirt?... my Spanish is rusty... lol... enjoy...
Here's another one on the CD player... look at the English enjoying...
Are you awake now?... I am. Music is good for the soul.

Research by Lilsissy, Skytrool, Aqt, and I, a quote from the other site: "Bringing no harm, can we say that since we see a slight correlation between Morgellons and Alzheimer's that drinking coffee or caffeinated tea might also help us with lessening the fiber formation? Nervous About Alzheimer's? Coffee May Help www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=128110552"June 28, 2010 It's an appealing notion that our daily pick-me-up may also confer a range of health benefits. And for coffee drinkers there's a lot of research percolating. Several studies suggest that a daily caffeine habit may help protect against Alzheimer's disease. But there's a catch. The cup or two a day that most Americans drink doesn't seem to be enough. Researchers say 500 mg of caffeine, or about five cups of regular coffee, is the dose that seems to protect the brain." ** We have to drink at least 5 cups a day." Also: eating walnuts: www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1293875/Recipe-ward-Alzheimers-Tea-coffee-walnuts-keeping-fit-spot-sunshine-cut-memory-loss.html"Eating walnuts could also ward off the disease, separate research has found. Mice which had a diet rich in the nuts were found to drastically improve their learning and memory abilities, according to a study carried out at New York’s Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities."

Well that's good news I guess... especially being I drink about 10-15 cups a day now. I quit drinking it 30 yrs ago tho... and then started back up again when I got together with Tom (he drinks alot of it too.) Only thing is I don't feel any different drinking it again. It doesn't even keep me awake... and as far as brain function goes, I don't have much of that anymore either, duh! But if it's helping to keep what brain function I do have left goin, then all is good in the world of coffee!!

Yes, we drink a lot too... I just naturally want it, I try to listen to what my body requests. It doesn't say anything about tea drinking - which I think is more caffeinated?... maybe mix it up for a change?

Which has more caffeine: a cup of coffee, a cup of tea, or a glass of Coke? ask.yahoo.com/19991108.html"According to the site's caffeine index, coffee has the most caffeine with 47-164 milligrams per 5 ounce serving. The caffeine content depends on how the coffee is brewed -- fresh drip has the highest level, instant has the lowest. Second place is a little more difficult to determine. A single serving of black tea (5 oz.) can have anywhere from 25 to 110 milligrams of caffeine, while a single serving of Coca-Cola (12 oz.) measures in with 46 milligrams. However, when you break it down to caffeine per ounce, tea handily beats Coke. Since we always like to check our work, we also paid a visit to the Coffee Science Information Centre's Caffeine page. Their numbers were slightly different, but generally they gave the same order of caffeine content."

Coffee and Fungus One thing about coffee... I purchased a slightly expensive mail order coffee with a Swedish name, not mentioning brands... and I noticed that if I let a cup sit - I would see a bacillus-looking, round, fungal 'button' growing in the cup in a day or two... (I had a big house and would lay my cups down and find them later... lol). And, another thing, I bought whole beans and the beans were dull - not shiny, like they had been bleached or something? Anyway, when they reported to me that a black mold fungus was growing all over my coffee grinder... I wasn't surprised. A good test to see if you have a coffee that has a lot of fungus in it might be to set a cup down and leave it for a couple of days and see how quickly something grows? We don't need to be adding to our problems... and be sure to clean your grinder often, if you use one. This is a pretty good article: Coffee and Fungus--is coffee safe? www.thinkfungus.com/public/97.cfm?sd=21"It is also the number one means by which Americans obtain their antioxidants." I had forgotten that it was an antioxidant... see! probably good for us!

Ok kamsters... I'll leave a cup sitting for a day or 2 and see what happens. If I see anything, I'll take a pic of it for you!
Glad about the antioxidents... at least there seems to be some good things about drinking the stuff!!
BTW, I hope you keep checking on ruth's qd theories cuz she's found what she believes is a match to my qd's. They're called indium/arsenide quantum dots and she says she sees a phenomenon happening in mine that doesn't happen in hers and what may be the difference in those with and those without lesions (which the latter would be me.) It's pretty interesting stuff she's got goin on over there!!

I am seeing where our 'fungus' takes approximately 6 days to show up here. It all depends on the source and this source is supposedly monitored and safe. So, let us say that if you see fungal growth in 2 - 3 days - the coffee probably has a high fungal content - this is just a normal way that coffee is processed, they use fungi for processing a lot of foods. No, I haven't seen Ruth's quantum dot thread lately... there are several - not sure which one?

We're all familiar with Kindra Arnesen speaking on behalf of the folks in the Gulf region and she just put out a youtube. Listen at around 1:20 on this video that she just put out. They are talking about the 'brown spots' on people's skin, especially, the younger men (and I assume women). They are most likely oxidizing... that's why the antioxidants and ZINC are so important, I do believe that she is correct - that this is a national, and possibly soon to be a worldwide problem. www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&v=cksCB7HF-YI

I'm recommending that people start drinking more coffee as an antioxidant. If I recommend something that they do and if they do it and get sicker - I'd feel bad if I didn't tell them how to test it to see. That's all - it's not for us already drinking a certain brand that is not hurting us, we're not going to look.
I wish we'd done more testing to see what's what... all I'm saying is - I believe a way to test ANY food is to let it grow and see what shows up, all brands are different. (Of course, you'd have to put a lid on it or something, we don't really need petri dishes or microscopes to see what we're looking for.) This might be information that can save someone from being very sick to mildly sick?

Dioxin poisoning archive.student.bmj.com/issues/05/02/education/58.php"Facial rash gives a clue On his return to Ukraine, Mr Yushchenko claimed that "Ukraine's political cuisine" had tried to poison him.1 4 Ten days later, he started developing severe epidermal lesions on his face and on his torso.5 What are dioxins? Dioxins belong to a group of very robust and mostly toxic chemical compounds known as persistent organic pollutants. Easily propagated over large distances by the means of air, water, and migratory species, these chemicals have a strong tendency to bioaccumulate.6 Although they can result from natural processes, such as volcanic eruptions and forest fires, they are predominantly produced as unwanted byproducts--for example, in any combustive activity in the presence of chlorine, chlorine bleaching of pulp and paper, as well as manufacturing and processing of certain types of chemicals, such as some pesticides and herbicides.8 How are we exposed to dioxins? Dioxins are found almost everywhere.8 Once they reach the environment, they are highly persistent.7 Due to their high lipophilicity, dioxins accumulate in the adipose tissue of animals and are slowly metabolised. In humans, TCDD has an estimated half life of seven years.9 The higher you climb up the food chain, the higher the dioxin concentration you can expect to find in a given species.8 For example, when dioxin settles on water, it will rapidly accumulate in fish, rather than in other animals or plants; the same principle applies for other ecosystems. The US Environmental Protection Agency suggests that over 95% of the dioxin intake for an average human (background exposure) occurs through the ingestion of food, essentially of animal fats.7 People with vegan diets (who avoid the consumption of meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products) have significantly lower blood dioxin concentrations compared with the general population.10 Other means of exposure to dioxins include ingestion of other contaminated food, ingestion of contaminated water and soil, inhalation, and absorption through the skin.7 The most commonly affected areas of the human skin are below and to the outer side of the eye and behind the ear, although the cheeks, forehead, and neck are quite often blighted as well. The basic lesions, involving almost every hair follicle, are small infundibular cysts containing keratotic material. Hyperpigmentation often accompanies the lesions.14 Chloracne usually disappears on its own once the blood concentration of dioxin is reduced.13 Is it possible to treat dioxin poisoning? There is no regimen for TCDD detoxification. Increased faecal excretion, which already accounts for up to 50% of overall elimination of TCDD, may accelerate detoxification.17 This may be achieved with olestra, a dietary fat substitute that is neither digested nor absorbed by the human gastrointestinal tract.18 Other medicines, such as colestimide, a cholesterol lowering drug, have also been shown to decrease the blood dioxin level in humans.19 Further treatment options include symptomatic treatment, for example with isotretinoin, which may help to relieve symptoms of chloracne.20"
