Hi Pdidit, torpedolynn and dianna5. Thanks for your support. And Pdidit, thanks for the state members. I might try to form a local group to meet.
To introduce myself I have had this 2 years. It started with a horribly stressful event. I actually saw the first black morg speck attack me and bite like hell. The symptoms started immediately after. Mine began mostly with demodex mites and a few specks and fibers. Now I have head to toe mites, and lots of fibers. (My understanding is most people only have some mites. I am literally completely covered in them. There must be millions and millions.)
I have no really open lesions but, over the past month, tiny red marks sort of like a sore but closed, have multiplied all over my arms and face. No fibers growing from skin yet. I have quadricep fatigue and short-term memory issues. Also, I have lost hair in front.
Any ideas for the red sore things on my face? I've tried iodine, hydrogen peroxide, desitin, clotramizole, and tea tree oil. It's just getting worse. Hair loss ideas too would be helpful.
You guys seem so great. I'm so happy I found you. Thanks, Bgone

I am glad you feel welcomed begone... we need the luxury of a listening ear, an understanding heart to get through this. Sometimes just one nice thing, one kind sentiment spoken at the right time can make all the difference for that day. Thanks lynn for taking the idea and running with it. I used to book display space in fairs, shows, special events etc. I wonder if they would toss us out if we set up at a county fair or community event?

Hi TorpedoLynn! I have been following you all for a while, and I can't tell you how nice it is to know I'm not alone! I had to quit my job as an elementary teacher because the first doctor thought it was staph infection or mRSa, and at the time i had 3 lesions on my face. I stay in most of the time because people are brazen enough to ask what is wrong because I have a large lesion on my jaw. I have been to 2 dermatologist, a wound specialist clinic, and a general surgeon. I have not been back to a doctor in over 8 months. The last one did another biopsy thinking it was skin cancer, and it came up negative. Of course, they say it is just because I pick at it! I have cleaned the lesions with Dial soap and water, let them dry, and cover them for 2-3 days, and then when the bandaid comes off , there are the hairs, fibers, and black bundles and specks. Anytime I get a bug bite, or a cut, or any opening he stinging, and the feeling of sharp glass under the skin occurs, and of course they blossom into a lesion. I have some pics and will try and get them up. I'm new at this because I've always just read the threads, not replied, so gotta figure out the link thing. Thank you again, and hope for relief for us ALL!

Hi Harry I am a bit obsessed at not wanting anyone feeling left out. Especially when new and scared. Thank you though. Also with all the drama going on in my home life it is nice to drown myself in a forum and try to get well. I think if I turned to much attention on home issues I would revert backwards in Morgellons. The board is less stressful believe it or not even when arguments ensue. I will say a prayer for Gordon and his family. In Light Lynn/TorpedoLynn Lynn I think it's great & caring of you to greet newbie's, it shows the spirit of the Board here with so many caring people, Hugs

I've only just joined and don't know if the demographic survey is on going, but just in case, I live in Oroville, California. I hope to meet other Morgellons sufferers from my area, as well as, from around the world in the forums. Thanks for being here!

I have Morgellons as does everyone around me; why they can't see, smell, or feel it I don't understand. Everyone that's comes over leaves behind pieces of the slimes creation that's continually falling off and they all think I'm nuts or on drugs. A neighbors says she occasinally has an itch and knows a nurse with similar symptoms, but she thinks it's mites.

Hi Tierracast, Yes, this state list will continue to be updated periodically...thank you for joining since we are trying to reach as many people as possible who have this disease--and am sorry you are afflicted with this too. But welcome and hope you find solace but also hope from people who are going through the same experience and have gotten better! California continues to top the other states in how many have this and/or have signed in-see compiled list: lymebusters.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=contact&thread=14501&page=1 In blessings and light, Pdidit

I live in Ga, about100 miles north of Atlanta. This is my first post. Has enough data been collected to show where the disease is most prevelent? I am still working but suffer from all the symtoms of this disease. I have had this for at least 6 years. I am looking forward to partipating in sharing info that may help any of us. 99% of the pictures I have seen on morgellonsn sites, i have removed from my body.

North Carolina here, just noticed the symptoms maybe 3 months ago? Started with stomach pains that almost made me want to cry (and i'm a 23 year old man) and then I was up reading online one night and came across random 'detox baths'. So, I figured since it'd been forever since i'd been to a sauna i'd try one, I used lemon juice, baking soda, epsom salt and a few others and then the symptoms REALLY kicked in. The hair movement, the skin lines, the fibers, etc.
Last week is when I started getting all the 'insane objects' falling off or out. Just thinking about some of the things I seen on my skin after I KNOW my skin was wiped clean makes me think I was hallucinating.

Thanks torpedolynn, Ive spent hours reading about morgellons. I just don't know what to believe from all the different theories, chemtrails, the dental fillings, the plant association, nano?? Is it a combination? Will we ever know? I've been diagnosed with lichens disease, psoriasis, but none of the pictures of these diseases match mine. I have never mentioned the word morgellons to any doctor in fear of being labeled or diagnosed as delusional. It took me a long time to convince my husband and this was only by insisting that he look at the wierd things coming off my body. He may have also have it for he has a couple of small itchy unexplained spots, howeber his immune system is much stronger than mine and if he does have it, it is not anywhere near the stage I am in.
