Hi all
I use to clean homes with lots of bleach. How dumb was I. One of the homes was very moldy and belong to a close family friend in the small town I lived in. As the home got moldier I got sick each time I went in and eventually had to give it up and never go back. Within 5 minutes I would be dizzy and throwing up.
Well one of the family members came home for a visit and we were called for a reunion to that home. I was sooo scared. They planed a back yard barbaque on a semi uncovered back porch. It rained steadly all day.
Dinner and visit ended up indoors. I did not get sick or dizzy even though the house smelled like it always had. Like stale smoke and wet mold. Well after dinner we walked about the property and ended up at a trailer used for storage whare my we have some things in storage. I have wanted to clean it out and get rid of most everything except hubbies childhood stuff. They opened the door and the mice did not even bother to scatter. They ignored us and went about their business. It was very full of mice and when I neared the opening a huge wave of very toxic mold hit me and almost sent me to the ground. I back off fighting for breath and to keep from passing out and the gal we were visiting started doing the same. She said oh that is making me sick.
Was a very pleasent day and a wonderful wonderful day. I just wanted to share the struggle part of it. Dang I hate this disease.
