Hi all
I really need feed back on this. I find yogurt helps kill the specks and amber crystals that come up on my tongue from my throat. Once they reach a certain point on my tongue I can gargle and sometime grab them out, but difficult because they really cling to the tongue. When I eat large amounts of yogurt I have very little trouble with any specks or crystals up out of the throat.
I try to stay Organic, but some know how that goes. Easier said then done at times. Sooooo.........I buy Activia desert Yogurt to smooth out the taste of the Organic yogurt. Just the fruit ones feel to acidic in the mouth. Well it was getting difficult to find the desert Activia and decided to try the Greek Yogurt. The Greek Gods Strawberry honey was so yummy. My kids went and did some shopping for me and brought home Vanilla Chobani. It is Organic (supposedly, but have not researched it.) I mixed a bowel of Half Chobani Vanilla Yogurt with my plain organic yogurt just the way I always do by mixing my yogurts into the plain organic one.
I took five bites and almost ended up in the hospital. My heart started to flutter, my face swelled a little and I turned red. I had trouble breathing and a couple times my eyes rolled up into my head along with all over body weakness. The rest of the day was spent fighting off the effects along with a bad headache and stomach ache that made me want to throw up.
That was yesterday at noon. This morning I hunted down the ingredients for both brands of Greek Yogurt and they look the same. Yet the one I like does not make me sick. I was trying to figure out what was in the Chobani that would make me so allergic.
The only other food that effects my breathing is Oranges. If I have concentrate orange juice I feel my lungs swell up like a balloon and my face, arms, and chest turn cooked lobster red to almost purple. I will not be in pain but on the floor taking baby puff breaths as my lungs will not take in air. Today I still feel buffy from that darn yogurt. It is not the Vanilla because I have eaten all sorts of Vanilla in so many forms including yogurt.
I am stumped. I even called my favorite Greek Yogurt company to see if they knew of any differences in their yogurt in compared to the Chobani that knocked me down. They did not know Chobani products well enough to help me figure it out. Sooooo..........Help.
Can anyone figure this out for me. I am Stumped. I am real short too but that had nothing to do with the yogurt. Lol ;D
