I am noticing lately, especially with Alzheimer's on the 6pm news and a new drug which is apparently helping some people, that NO ONE EVER mentions what the cause could be. Never ever have I heard them say on TV what "they think" could be the cause of Alzheimer's. If we had some idea of the cause, we would all avoid whatever causes it in a way to bring down those dreadful figures and to protect ourselves and our family. Just to think, half of the worlds population will have dementia by 2050 according to that article. The journalism of the article was like a marketing add, and this comment takes the cake. "If we’re going to change the current trajectory of the disease, we need consistent and meaningful investments in research," Carrillo said.
