I just wanted to let you know (because you are so sweet and caring) how my new med treatment is going. I was on Ketek 800mg for one week, then added flagyl 750mg the second week (just finishing that) and my "eczema" is drying up very nicely. I am pulsing the flagyl every other week. I am hesitant to say that its a done deal however as when I started zithromax (500mg) back in the winter it did the same thing. I also don't want to jinx myself! HOWEVER... My new and improved LLMD said that the zithromax was not strong enough for the long haul and it needed to be paired with another kick butt anti-biotic to work. I go back on the 20th to see my co-infection results. I strongly suspect bartonella and I think the Ketek might knock it back but not kill it alltogether so I might need rifampin. We shall see. I do feel MUCH better. I realize I am not producing fibers or insects or anything indicative of morgellons and apologise for taking up valuable air space. I have however grown quite fond of this board and will continue to see how everyone is getting along. AND if my situation changes for the worse (IE i start producing "stuff") I will let everyone know. take care, pc

Hi Pattiecakes,
You never know (with your posts) who may be reading and following along (but not posting), who has a well, and hay and a horse, and a bacteria-light intheir well now as a result of your posts. Your "airspace" is full of important information. Others will come that have bartonella (or not) and will benefit by your posts, and I (for one) want to keep hearing how the therapy goes and what the test results are!
You know pattiecakes, I had these lesions for eight years before stuff started coming out, and only then did they bail from their home at that point, because I started using anti-parasitics topically, by accident, (the clove oil), in hopes of finding something to stop the itch, and things suddenly coming out.
With such a range of symptoms and timelines that vary between persons here, I think all histories are important and you never know who might be helped.
Thanks for the posts, hope there will be more.. and hopefully all about progress!! Hope the kids are doing well, too.

the kids are doing pretty good thanks, My son is pretty well recovered from his bartonella/lyme and my daughter who has been extreemely ill with lyme and babesia is finally getting better.
She missed all of may and june of school. The good Dr. J put her on Mepron for babs and it kicked her butt in the beginning with a fever and vertigo but it was obvious from the start that she needed to be on it because it stopped her overall severe aches and pains/migraines. She still gets tired easily and the blaring sun makes her feel lousey but all in all she is much improved.
Only little things cropping up hither nither.
I dont know what we would do without dr. J.
Ill keep in touch. I want to know how everyone here gets along. pc
