Day five of the Septra and I am smiling! ;D Floaters have all disappeared. Just like Adapted said, once you begin to heal the fibers just disappear. Skin is healing at record speed as predicted by Jeff. Taratula told me it would kill my appetite and that I had to eat. I am forcing my self to eat now and it is very hard. And last but not least Ant has captured my heart and I am getting married. This drug has shines glimmers of hope and I want to thank all of you guys here and share some of this happiness and hope!

I've recently contacted Schwartz as well, might have to make a trip to Santa Fe if I can't get my primary doctor to cooperate. Best of luck Hope, sending all my positive energy your way.

Do tell, do tell. I haven't read anything about this before. I need to know where you went, who you saw, what it is, and mostly, whether my children can take it. (oldest, 13, youngest, about 8 months, now.) Thanks and love.

Ok, This is itchingntexas again...this site is refusing to acklowledge my log-in...pretty weird. Anyway, I just searched that drug, and children under 2 can't take it. SO everyone in my family could take it except for the baby...wonder how I could find out what she could take. Any suggestions??

Don't give your kids anything that a doctor is not prescribing and monitoring! Always use yourself as the guinea pig first. It is my personal opinion that kids should not be treated with pharmaceuticals unless they are really bad and most kids fight this pretty well with the natural remedies. Treat it as an infection and you will get results. I am unable to get a doctor to treat me so I had to do what I had to do. No one should be left to suffer needlessly. Going from doctor to doctor and getting no help got old quick too. I have never talked to Dr. Schwartz but I know what he uses to treat this and appreciate his research. I have begged my general physician to contact him in the past but he is not open to it. Suggested it to my Derm and she has no desire to go there either. I got help from the people on this board and Mary. I read, and I read, and I read. My help came by way of the people who reached out to me here and shared their experiences by being the brave ones to try it first. I learned from their advise, mistakes and successes. Pattie and Kerry have done us all an invaluable service by giving us this board. It has kept me sane. JLR, Thanks for that energy brother! Hg, As for the side effects of any drug one chooses to take, risks will always be involved. One must weigh it out accordingly. Sorry you are full of mercury, but I don’t have your fly. Peace, Hope

hg - You just might have saved my life. Thank you so much for those links. I've been having worrisome symptoms that I believe are side effects due to Bactrim.

To all new comers: Go here and scroll down to the program on March 15th and listen well. mp3.rbnlive.com/Stadt05.htmlBugs has all the info on the long named bacteria Schwartz says it is. And just like Bugs, I'm not completely convinced this is a cure but it is working wonders on me and I am smiling! And I still drink bottled water. ;D

Hope, where did you get Schwartz's protocol if you never spoke to him? Also how did you get a hold of the septra? I'm pretty sure my doctors not going to cooperate so I'll need an alternative before this gets any worse. I'm hoping I would probably need a lower dose since my symptoms don't seem as bad as most people on here.
Please advise. Maybe we could chat through IM if possible. Thanks. JLR
*I spoke to Schwartz and the things we spoke of were pretty scary, but I'm trying to put all that aside and deal with one thing at a time; trying to keep my clear and stress free most of all.

As for the toxicity of Spetra (Bactrin) - I have no doubts that this is merely an allergic reaction to sulfur compounds (and yes, it can be fatal for severely allergic individuals). For the rest of us I think Dr. Schwartz has nailed it. For those allergic to Septra I would recommend dosing with doxycycline.
Thanks Hope - it is all coming together now including why the enzyme and diatomaceous earth work at the skin's surface. That combo along with Septra (or Doxy for those allergic to sulfur) is the answer.
You know, I had a bout with Lyme treated with Doxy 10 years ago (tho never tested positive) and I drink bottled water often. It seems this pathogen manifests itself in those with altered immune systems but not usually in healthy individuals. Does make me wonder if this is an act of bioterrorism.
Now to convince someone to prescribe the heavy doses! How much are you taking Hope?
Almost FREE!

here is something that you might want to consider-- I started using bacitracin zinc on my ears--it is working better than any thing that l've tried so far--it is an ointment from a tube made by E-Fougera & Co. division of Altana -Melville NY. It might work the same on any open sores etc. Ziggy

I've tried that Orion and have had very little success, and any success i did see was more likely due to the petroleum based carrier. Based on your success and the symptoms you've stated, especially the "jumping off of you" sightings, I'm 99% sure you have Collemboliasis and NOT Morgellons: members4.boardhost.com/Kritters/msg/2052.htmlA number of folks here may have the same. Hope this can help you. Chemist G

I have a question, I do not hear anyone talking about discomfort of their intestines, but in this interview, Schwartz talks about how it invades your intestines.
I have salt specks, fibers or worms on my body and itching and crawling or did have--just took Flagyl. I am curious if in listening to Schwartz if you heard what I did about the intestines. If so, this is certainly my problem. Maltophilia.
I tried to go back but the system would not let me hear what Schwartz had to say again.

Here is a link about Septra and what some others have said about it. It also contains resources to purchase it. Please try hard to get the help of a medical professional if you decide you want to try this treatment. lymebusters.proboards39.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1118972664&page=2Chemist G and JLR, I cannot send any messages because you guys are not registered. Please send me a message and a way to get a hold of you and we’ll chat, if Ant allows me to. I got Schwartz’s protocol by caring people who reached out to me on this board. Apparently many old posts have been lost and I can’t link any here. But, the good news is that people are looking for them and with any luck will find them. Dear Mmeme, Please keep us posted with your recovery and I hope we continue to have success. Orion, Thanks for the tip but I don't know what that stuff is. Could you please explain? To all the parents, The hardest thing about this disease is watching it on your child and feeling helpless. I have no answers on this but I will share my philosophy with you. We haven’t a clue as to what we are really dealing with and I don’t want to take a chance of screwing anything up when it comes to my kid. My child does very well with salt baths, sulpher 6X, MSM, vitamins, and the all important oil rubs. Sometimes I will give garlic oil and grape seed extract internally too. Work hard topically, on the immune system, and clean like hell. I am biding time until more research is done before I treat my child with any drug. This is because I’m scared that I may make this crap more resistant than it already is. I use myself to test everything out first and never jump into any remedy without serious consideration, research, and thought. Tell your kids the truth and love them with all your heart. Try to keep life as sane as possible with them and pray like there is no tomorrow. Peace, Hope P.S. I’ll pass this on. “There is a Dr. Schwartz in Arizona and claims to have cultured the fibers and is prescribing an antibiotic called Oral Septra DS and Avelox, prescribed in slightly higher dosages until complete relief . Dr. Schwartz has a website called Healingresearch.org He cannot speak to the patients, but is willing to speak to their doctors. I may not have this exactly right, but the antibiotic treats stenotrophomonas maltophilia which may be found in these sores.” And may the Schwartz be with you.
