I kept reading that BOUNCE dryer sheets were in some way anti-parasitic. Geesshh!
Well, tell Spec to try it.. she'll try anything.
I waited awhile to be sure until I decided to post this.
A few months ago, I tried BOUNCE.
The next few weeks my skin in general felt irritated. I felt like the inside of my 100% polyester satin pajamas, (which I got to help settle my edgy feeling down), were just lined with little bits of fiberglass, inside and out. Clean sheets no longer offered a bit of comfort.
I soon suspected it was the BOUNCE. It took a few washings with an ultra free softener in the rinse, before my clothes started to feel smooth again.
Maybe there is a chemical in the Bounce that I am allergic too, I don't know. My advice is, if you feel edgy on your skin, get some ultra-free softener and add it to your rinse water.
Get rid of the Bounce, at least for a few weeks and see if your clothes start to feel softer and if the edgy feeling stops.
Especially be aware of this with the kids! Maybe use nothing but FREE wash detergents and rinse agents. No use exposing them to something that will make them itch more.

My three youngest are all allergic to dryer sheets. They cause them eczema.

Spec, Have you tried looking at your clothes under an ultraviolet light? You can find out what is infested very easily.

Dryer sheets...especially Bounce were linked to middle ear infections in kids several years ago...probably due to allergic reaction to the chems.
