uukHello everyone
I don't know if everyone who has morgellons or skin parasite symptoms has experienced numbing or tingling of their extremities, but I sure have.
About a year ago I felt the four most prominent toes on my foot begin to tingle all of a sudden. Then, it felt like something was hurting inside my toes. One day I woke up and the second and third toe was slightly numb from the first joint to the tip, on each of my foot.
This progressively got worse. Over the next 6 months, I felt my toes become increasingly numb to the point where I had no feeling at all in the first joint on my second and third toe on each foot. Then, I began to feel the partial numbness on the rest of my toes (ring toe, pinky toe). Two weeks ago, I realized that that I had numbness in all of my toes.
Now, I'm 24 years old and I have not been wearing 8 inch stilettos all my life. I didn't see any reason why my toes would go numb all of a sudden without any explanation. Er, except that I have a bizarre disease that does strange things to me.
Of course, doctors have been about as much help to me as getting Athlete's Foot on top of all this. Fortunately, I haven't gotten that-just the mysterious numbness, plus apathy from the ever so caring and willing to investigate doctors. Those doctors can suck my toes.
Anyway-to make a long story short, I have been experimenting with Neosporin cream. It is a product that is located next to the Neoporin ointment in the first aid aisle. I have been rubbing it on my toes (just the left foot so I could compare) and amazingly, the feeling in the toes on my left foot has returned!
The feeling on my right foot is still not there. I can tap my toe with a pencil without looking, and I only feel the sensation in my hand. I don't feel anything in my toes on my right food. But, after using Neosporin cream for a week (only 3 times total) on my left foot, I have gotten about 75% of the feeling back! I think that if I continue to use it I may get the feeling back altogether.
I know that Dr. Schwartz treats this with antibiotic cocktails, and it appears to me that this disease responds to antibiotics.
I just wanted to share with you all my discovery because I am hoping it will work for everyone. Having unprecedented numbness in my extremeties was a bit disconcerting. Being able to do something about it has made me feel a lot better.
Of course, I don't know if it's going to be a permanent cure, but I did want to bring it to ya'lls attention in case that it could benefit anyone else. Thank you so much
