Some not very scientific polling, for those who have tried antibiotics and would feel comfortable participating -- I'd just like to compile some data to think about things, and the community as a whole may learn from the experiences all put together.
1. What antibiotic or combinations were tried the first time you tried antibiotics?
2. What were the dosages used?
3. How long were they used?
4. If you had black specks, dots, fiber bundles, or flakes, what was the effect, if any, of the antibiotics on the numbers of them?
5. If you had long fibers (not specks or dots), what was the effect, if any, of the antibiotics on the numbers of them or their severity?
6. If you had stinging sensations, what was the effect, if any, of the antibiotics on them?
7. If you had crawling sensations, what was the effect, if any, of the antibiotics on them?
8. If you had strings or worms that react (come out with oil, or retract again), what was the effect, if any, of the antibiotics on them?
9. If the symptoms went away and came back later, how long did it take, and which came back first?
Sorry there's so many questions, but I hope that a single thread that compiled all of this might be useful in the future.

Doxycycline is what we're taking. They prescribe it for malaria patients. It seemed to work early on, but not so much now. Still, it's better than before.

1. Regular dose of a generic septra.
2. Two times daily.
3. 15 days as of this coming weekend.
4. It has reduced the number of specks to almost none, but I have also been staying away from my apartment.
5. Havent seen any of the black or white splinter like things since, only a few of the white ones on my car dashboard. There were lots more when not on antibiotic.
6. The stinging comes and goes, depends on what I eat. I'm noticing that after drinking a 16 fl. oz. of POM Pomergranate juice, a couple hours later I get itchy. It's more of a fiberglass like itch than the stings I've experienced in the past.
7. I've never seen a 'worm' but never have tried to extract one either.
8. I'll let you know once off the antibiotics, I also plan to use a product called para-cleanse right after and then probiotic candida cleanse right after that because I've read the taking antibiotics helps in the growth of Candida.

Ihad a very bad infection in my ears--from the scalp I assume--I did not start making any progress to speak of until I started using witch hazel to clense then bacitracin zinc which is generic neosporin.. This knocked them real good but the neosporin started affecting my hearing. The black fibers--red and clear along with the black spots seem to lay on or very near the tampanic membrane (ear drum) I started this the first of april using walnut oil, oregano. camphorated oil and peroxide but it was rhe neosporin that got them--I now use witch hazel and castor oil and when l looked today my ears were practicly clear. I don't expect to keep them out until I get the systemic under contrio which might be never. When iI shave the hair off of my leg (upper thy) and rub in the camphorated oil I can see(with aid of glass) small black specks coming out of my pores, Upon examination under microscope the specks are the very small black threads starting to unravel. So you see, these buggers are every where in your body-at least under the skin. So how do you get to these? Soak down in oil then use steel wool? I have no idea what the answeres are,,only that you will have to find some cocoction that sets a fire under them. What ever one will have to use sure aint gona be kind to the ol bod. I have posted the protocal that I am using and it does seem to be helping. I will stay away from the Abx for now--only as a last resorte will I take them. I kind of like the candida fungas angle--it appeals to my logic. Golly. do I have to give up the sugar on my flax flakes?

We need to get out of our apartment, too. We are convinced it will make cleaning up easier. We're not going to be taking any furniture, either. We have new stuff instorage until we move.

I'm moving out this weekend and trashing alot of stuff. What worries me is that I'm moving back in with my parents, with two children (nephews) that frequent the place. Fortunately most of the place is tiled (including the room I'll be staying in). Although i'm worried about sharing the bathroom shower, washer and dryer with everyone. They don't seem to mind though since most of my family thinks It's all in my head and say they already itch, cause it's natural.
