Tetramethrin. This is a fly everyone. for me this problem has been especially bad in my truck and very bad around my computer. I sprayed my truck yesterday with PowerHouse brand House and Garden bug killer today no crawling stinging or other signs of their presence at all. This morning I sprayed around my computer area and am now sitting here for the last 2 hours in my socks and no signs of them yet. I must say Im feeling good about the way this stuff appears to be working. Let me know how it works for you. Im not plugging a brand name here. The contents of the spray are
Tetramethrin .20% 3-Phenoxybenzyl-(1RS, 3RS, 1RS, 3SR)-2,2-dimethyl-3(2-methylprop-1-enyl) Cyclopropanecarboxylate .20% other ingredients 99.6%
Man it sure is nice to be able to sit comfortably at my pc again. I still feel some stuff in the air but my legs are normal which has not been the case for several years now. I will be doing a whole house over with this stuff tomorrow and hope to be rid of it on sunday.. Let me know of your results

Yea, I had it bad in my car and around my computer too. And everywhere else but I noticed that they liked the PC. I tried stuff like this, however, after working for a few days they seemed to developed immunity to the stuff. Let us know if that happens, if they come back after a few days and become immune to the spray.

I believe they could be flies, but sting some of us and in so doing, lay eggs in us. The life cycle in your body goes through many stages/forms. The biting is often from inside of your skin and only feels as though they are outside because that's the way your nerve endings have always interpreted the feeling. The adults can be found as worms, squirming and running around throughout the body. The young seem to stay in one place and itch like heck. Gold Bond medicated ointment seems to stop the local itching/biting. Large doses of garlic seem to discourage the adults gradually. There is something called Ivermectin that is sort of a full spectrum worm killer that they treat dogs' heartworm with. This is called Stromectol in human form and made by Merck. This kills the young (one dose). Some form of tetracyline should get rid of the adults. The problem is to find a doctor in the US who will prescribe these.

Hey Southcity.....I went and bought some Raid Flying Insect spray. It has .35% of the tetramethrin, and it did seem to help quite a bit. It's also real bad in my car and around my PC. I think it will take quite a few rounds of it to really work, but as I said, it does seem to help. I've often thought this could be some sort of fly too. Thanks for the advice.....bannany

Our friend from whom we believe we might have contracted this, thought she saw a "wasp" coming out of her. Then I'm reminded of this picture:

I too keep seeing flying objects zoom by but then their gone, my eyes are either messing with me or somethings in the air.

I don't think they develop immunity, but instead they hatch out in cycles, so when you feel their presence you know it is time to spray again. The yeast enzyme works real well, and miticides. My husband is an exterminator, we have sprayed the heck out of our home. I know that is not good, and it probably glows at night. But I would rather be eat up with cancer than this scourge.
I have seen flies too, and am very suspicious of them. They fly, they float, they run fast, they hop. And they KNOW when you see them, and hide very fast. Maybe sandflies? I think it is flies in my hair. Twice I caught a tiny floaty that seemed to come out of my hair, and both times it was a tiny wing under the microscope.
To get them out of your car, start it, turn the heater on full blast and leave it running for a few minutes. Do this daily until you notice a difference. I swear that is how I got them out of my car.
MY HUSBAND JUST CALLED! Our vet is putting our dog on antibiotics for Lyme disease, because we have both been diagnosed with it. I know the dog has Morgellons too. I am so excited about this news!!! I hope everyone else finds their vet as open-minded!

Hey guys....please don't think I am trying to rain on your parade. I truly am going to say this because I don't want anyone to do what I did.
I agree with all that has been posted about the type of pesticide. I too, sprayed, spayed, and sprayed. Myself, my clothes, my home, my stuff, my bed, my floors, everything.
Eventually, I had to leave my home. This does not happen to everyone Thank Goodness! It was the only way I was able to begin to improve. I would have died in the home I was living. We initially went to a hotel/small kitchen type but the few items we brought needed spayed so I continued to spray to rid these things from a few clothes and my car.
Well, the time reference was about 6 weeks and I went into cardiac arrest at the hotel. I did not know that at the time. Husband talked me into going to the ER one more time and I felt so horrible I agreed. I had a heart attack, angogram showed no blockages....but did reveal heart damage. (Appx one eight of my heart was lost). I was 37 years old, female, and life style and my size was not conducive for heart attack.
I know it was partially due to the morgellons, but when they did my blood work one week later. My blood result came back exactly.....and I mean the exact same percentages and list of ingredients as my favorite pest spray at the time. I could of held up the label and the blood test and you wouldn't know which was which. I knew it was exactly why my veins constricted so much from the repeated usage....causing a heart attack. I would have never guessed. But this is true.
Please just be careful. Sincerely Faith

Faith,
I agree. I wonder if our capillaries are coming out of our skin. They are about that size, don't you think?
I use about 10 drops of tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil diluted in water and spray myself and my car, when I go out. It seems to help and it won't hurt anything.

Faith, I hope you are doing better after your awful heart attack. These things hurt the heart just to hear. And thank you for your advice cuz I've gotten to the point of cleaning my hands and spraying myself with amonia, Mr. Clean, disinfectant sprays, you name it. I figured it was probably doing some harm to me, but I didn't realize how much.....thank you again so much and I wish for you no more pain. ~ bannanny

Well I caught one today!!! And yes, IT HAS WINGS and looks like a microscopic wasp under a lense. A white fiber bundle was found on my skin near it and I got then BOTH on scotch tape on a slide in my fridge. I think the white fiber bundle was it's molt shed from going to larvae stage to adult. Can someone give me the name of an entomologist that won't think we're crazy? This could be the answer.
I've been battling the stinging and crawling for 4 months now. I don't itch much but do occasionally get the misquito bite things that do. Also get small areas of skin that feel like they're burning. And I see the sparkly things on my fingertips where I feel a lot of the stings. Other signs of pimple-like lesions on my thighs. Especially get the stings on my big toes. Dermatolgist says I have some sort of dermatitis but are of no help in solving it. I did have deer ticks and lyme symptoms several years ago but tested negative. I had Lyme symptoms tho that went away with antibiotics. Symptoms came back slightly when I went off the antibiotics but then went away on their own. Could this be a part of why I'm susceptible to all this? Should I get tested again for Lyme and is there a more accurate test these days?
Sorry for all the questions and run-on regarding my condition but I'm desperate for answers and this insect may hold some clues.
Thanks for reading and for this bulletin board and may we all be cured of this pest!
G

It might be the vector. What I've thought I've seen are little white moths, or sandflies, but I've never gotten a good enough look to be able to tell. Always in my peripheral.

???I know this sounds too easy but it isn't actually as easy as it sounds. It certainly hasn't stopped all lessions but 90% of them have healed and very few new ones are appearing. Certainly helped though. I have done everything I know of to lower the acidity of my PH. It has gone down significantly (litmus paper test) and has significantly helped. It has only helped the itching and spots but hasn't affected the fatigue and other symptoms but it's something. I was covered and I mean covered (not 1inch of my skin was free of these "spots") and now most of them have healed. I still get some new ones but nowhere near what I had. Maybe it's just coincidence but it seems to have helped me and maybe it can you. Good luck!!

God bless and help all of us. here. My hubby and I are new to the site, and both go under this name... Heart attacks in 37 yr.-old women. My God, help us. We are all (husband, four children, me) bathing in ajax anti-bacterial soap, with eucalyptus in it, and then rubbing down with apple cider vinegar...this brings them OUT. They are going crazy coming out of there. And my poor babies are screaming, "They're stinging me, they're stinging me!!" ...But if I don't do it, they itch all night. My son once got track marcks all over his stomach until it looked like a road map...right before our eyes. And he just went nuts (He's 2 whole years old going through this). And when we rub with the vinegar, these things looking much like course, dark hairs grow out right before your eyes. If you pull them out (clear tape) they stop 'stinging'. We do this with all the children and ourselves each night. They hate it, and so do we. Our youngest is 7 months old...a baby girl. It is hellish. Somone tell me...do you believe this is contagious?? Somtimes I think, oh to hell with it, we've got to get out...but then, I see something fly off of one of the kids, or me, or I see a track mark come up on their skin...and I think what are we doing? Everyone in town will have it! I am a Christian, fervent. We know God could heal this if He wanted. He can do anything, but sometimes He knows a better outcome, and we don't know anything about anything. I am weary, though, waiting for deliverence. I am just emotionally and physically depleated. ..from worrying about whether someone's gonna get it from us if we go out in public. Somone please tell me...what do you think about the communicability of this thing?? (By the way, we have specimens all over the place... the mature ones definitely have wings and fly, and those long, stringy things, they are alive. Definitely; act like snakes when you grab them. Thanks to God for this site...the general public would think I'm ready fpr a straight jacket...) Love to all...

It would really help me, if I could get a fix on general locations. If I can get a fix on the route its travelling now it would help build credibility on the source, I'm having a tough time getting the source tested for identification.

Hello itchingntexas! I'm a fellow Texan too.....central TX. It pains me to hear about your children. This is just my opinion, based on my own experiences, but I don't believe it's contagious. There are a lot folks that think it is, so I'm sure there will be more replies. I see this "stuff" everywhere I go. As a matter of fact, my parent's house (which is very well maintained) is loaded with the "stuff". Same with my brother's family (they own a large, long haired dog too). None of them are affected by it at all. In my own family, we have varying degrees of symptoms, with mine being the worst. Why some get it and some don't....it's a mystery. This is just how I feel....but this thing can ruin us. It can make us prisoners and take away the things we enjoy most. I've had Morgellons since 2001 and Lyme much longer. One thing I've learned, as hard as it is, I had to try and keep going. I couldn't let my vanity get in the way and most important......I had to have humor in my life. I'm a Christian too, and there is no way I could handle this without Him.

It appears to me that it all depends on the host carrier if you get the front load of tail end. Down wind of here, the CDC says its not infectious, but up here it most definately is. I also believe its a toxic scavenger, which means if you are toxic eg. dental mercury, vaccines, pollution, you are more likely to be a host for them. www.mercuryexposure.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=240&view=findpost&p=543I'm not just showing this url for fun, I have anyone who is anyone in the world looking at it. You want action, then list your location, or go hide. I'm getting impatient by the lack of response. I run the best information system concerning major health issues, no advertising, don't sell anything, its all about helping victims who need medical help. I can't help you here, this system is not set up correctly to be effective.

HG---"impatient by lack of response"---what is it exactly that you are desiring? Please give much detail, as I am completely ignorant (fairly new to the Morgellons gig) of what you're talking about, and I am so completely computer illiterate. I'm proud when I successfully cut and paste...you know??! Anyway, do tell. I know we all do want help. Any we can get. Luv from TX.
