I keep reading stories of people who claim they are on the road to recovery with high percentages etc. Does anyone know if anyone has completely gotten this out of their system completely and for good?

I for one am slowly getting over this disease. I have no more lesions on my face and a patch about twice the size of a postage stamp on my leg. But this is about 98% less than what I had about two years ago. I don't know anyone personally that has this, and I can't say that anyone with any credibility has reported getting over this stuff. I will say that my sores will be completely gone in 4-6 weeks but I will remain vigilant and keep an eye out for any suspicious changes in my skin. I still continue to use the Neutragena medicated makeup during the day and Miconazole at night. It puts a double whammy on this disease. I am not using salts; oregano; or anything other than what I stated other than teatree shampoo and soap. I am curious if anyone else has any success at all with this Neutragena. It just knocks the heck out of the stuff for me. I have a feeling that until we find a majic bullet to kill this stuff, it will be ever present in our system and ready to find a weak spot to start all over again. This is truly the disease from Hell. When the word finally gets about about this there are going to be a lot of medical professionals very embarassed that they didn't take this seriously, especially the dermafraudulists! I also think that we are just the tip of the iceburg. There are a lot more people out there infected but haven't exhibited symptoms yet. Forge on.........

After seeing everyons photos in the photo section I really started to worry about what can eventually happen if not taken care of. I had the black specks and white pulps with ingrown like pimples that would not go away. I also had and still have on occasion the crawling/stinging senstations; but thats usually a few hours after eating something sweet which I don't do anymore. And just when things start to look like they're getting better they just come back... but it doesnt seem to be as strong as in the past. I'm dilegently cleaning, or I should say obsessively cleaning house (but I already do that) and hope that I too can get over this.
Those of you with worse symptoms, did it start out gradually for you and you just let it take over not knowing what was going on or did it all just happen at once? I'm curious... and afraid of the outcome if I chose to ingnore and live with whats going on.
thanks for the feedback and info, JLR

I should also mention that I do not have a microscrope, so as far as I know I could have everything else thats going on. That is of course if all of the photos optically enhanced.

Hello and yes I am healing. Of course Im not finished but I believe healing is possible as JFW and wife are fine these days. Dont believe for a moment that ignoring it will make it go away. Ant stopped treating at one time and went full blown.
As for me...one day life was normal and the next....full blown morgellons.

TRUE ! I gave up" and thought in doing so that this stuff would kill me and put me out of my misery but it didn't only got more miserable and more unbearable Now if I do get well it will be a longer road back
So what ever you do your better off if you keep fighting it hopefully with a real doctors assistance] Even if you don't know what your trying is working because chances are most any thing that you are doing is helping to keep the numbers down I have found that individually that these critters are quite fragile and many things kill them but its having them under the skin and the skin barrier where medications don't penetrate that make the root of them hard to get too Then the shear Numbers and their ability to reproduce at an excessive rate is the other problem
I have found as a rule that anything that causes them to frenzy under the skin is good two things do this for me DSMO is one" but can be painful as the parasite scramble to get away from it" The more I think milder and more affective thing is infrared I really think it would of cured me if I would of used it before I had given up it still might" The numbers are down but as of now I'm still calling it touch and go So Ya' infrared and keeping my body well oiled at all times to catch them up as they come out and make them harder to re-enter you body ( my choice of oil is skins-so-soft with eucalypus citradora oil in it) the more heat you can get to your skin with out burning your self the better

As for me...one day life was normal and the next....full blown morgellons. Yeah, I'm still like WTF?!?! This wasn't supposed to happen! What happened to "happily ever after?" I seriously had a pretty good angle toward eventually reaching that nice conclusion until that one fateful day last March...April? God, I don't even remember. I know some of you have suffered way longer, but even a short time is too long. Fight the good fight!

Don't forget the quinine in tonic water. it helps me. Quinine is a long used and efective therapy for blood parasits. I understand salt and vitamin C is good also. Witch hazel and neosporin keeps the count way down in my ears---use a saline nose spray.

hi guys,
I have been reading posts, and i need to ask this of anyone who might know. How do you know something is "really" wrong if there are no lesions?

Scratchy: If something is really wrong (morgellons), you will know!! This crawling business...it is maddening. It's not constant, not for me at least, but when it's there, it's the worst. The itching almost drove me crazy in the beginning, also. Similar to scabies. And I would feel little stings every now and then, before the itching...felt like ant bites, perhaps. And you will notice changes in your skin...hemocytes may appear (little 'blood spots') on your skin, plus 'new freckles', which aren't really freckles... My husband and our four children all have it, and we don't have any lesions to speak of. I think I have one small one on my thigh that doesn't want to heal. Also, we have the little blue fibers (barely visible) here and there, found on the skin. And we find the little specks (or bugs) on the skin, especially after a vinegar rub. This really brings them out. We bathe in Ajax anti-bacterial dish soap and eucalyptus, then rub down in apple cider vinegar. Little things like dark, thick hairs 'grow' out of the skin where you rub...right before your eyes. It's freaky. The anti-bacterial stuff usually has a pesticide in it. Not healthy, per se, but it helps like everything with the symptoms. Someone said seems like it gets betterm then starts again...YES. I have actually thought we were through with it, and then full force, everything, again. Do any of you have fatigue as much as I do?? My health has become so poor since this; I can't begine to tell you all the things I've got going on. And we all have runny noses and eyes...they're in our eyes, noses, ears. ..other places you don't want them. We are new on here, so any input or suggestions are great. Anyone else using vinegar to any avail??

I have had some good luck by adding a few drops of lemon essential oil in with small amount of a hand saniizer and then rubbing i in gently. I applied it to a small area each time. They really seemed to pour out of areas close to lymph glands, behind my knees and in the crease of my elbow

My 13 yr. old daughter and I have been making these salt scrubs to possibly sell on ebay. She was experimenting and made lemon. She later used it and just almost SWORE it stopped her itching (until the next day...). So, I guess the little scoundrel was right! Thanks. Any info is so greatly appreciated. Christ bless all...
