Hi anthill, The aritcle you referenced was the same one that clued me in on using the Seven Forest herbs, about a year ago. We still take them to keep the spirochetes at bay. Who knows, maybe even kill them. Hope you are faring well. Oh, I still take Sarsaparilla in capsule form. The author above mentions it-- Smilax. Blue Skies..............John

Hi ant and Mama Ant, After ant first called me a Sasser-backer, I decided he was probably right. Of course, it's like peeing upwind; it ususally causes trouble for you - but it sure does feel good. ;D I appreciate the compliment about being related; from what I know about ant, you must be some mighty fine folks. Back to Seven Forest herbs. The author above mentions two combinations that contain most of the anti-spirochete herbs-- Isatis 6 and Forsythia 18. Those are the two that Annie and I take, nine of each/day. We buy them from our acupuncturist friend, so you may want to check other sources.
The same author talks about Ching-hao or Artemisia Annua-- www.itmonline.org/arts/chinghao.htm Artemisinin is derived from Artemisia- good for Lymies especially if you have the protozoa Babesia from tick bites. Great to hear from you ant and Mama Ant. Blue Skies................John

I started taking the Artemisia at the begining of May and took it for three weeks. Then I stopped and started again on the first on June.
Yesterday I went to the doctor with this HORRIBLE rash on my rib cage--it started well above my bellybutton and then stopped like where my boobs where.
I lifted my shirt up to show my doc--and he wasn't agast by my ninny knockers--because I still had my bra on--but his face was downright comical!!! My rash looks bad.
It didn't help that I thought it was yeast and I put yeast killer on it and that sort of burned the rash--and made it angry!
So I told doc that I think the rash is the Artemisia getting rid of the Babesia--he wont give me mepron because he is afraid it will make insurance company angry.
Doc thinks that I am allergic to the Artemisia. So I am going to start it again at the end of july right before I see him.
Anyone have any ideas what this is about? I worked real hard out in the yard--but I was just piddling--not shoveling gravel or anything...
Thanks, Linda

Ya" I was cleaning up the family grave plots for Decoration day and every place on my body that perspired had a rash I think sweating pisses them off and I think any thing that pisses them off is good even if it does get overwelming some times

anthill,
So is there anything I can take to kill the babs except mepron?
I am going to follow his advice and not get in the yard when I start at the end of July--'cause I really think I'm right.

John-jwf,
Can you take artemesia and cat's claw at the same time or on the same day? I have been taking cat's claw above the recommended limit, at one time I took 45 caps a day for ten days, but I was worried about the dosage and so I lowered it. But lately, I've been thinking that I'd rather take my chances on high dosages of cat's claw. I looked at the contraindications and it seemed pretty safe.
Any thoughts, Magnolia

Hi Magnolia, My wife Annie and I have both used Artemesia and Artemisinin separately along with Cat's Claw with no problems. Most users of Artemisinin will cycle their intake, two weeks on and two weeks off, for example, with the two weeks on covering the full moon, since the protozoa follow a lunar cycle like most life on this planet. Hi John,
Where do you get the Artemesia and Artemisinin? Also from the Seven Forest Herb Company?
Thanks, Spunky

Hi Spunky, Both the artemesia and artemisinin came from Organic Pharmacy in Asheville, NC. organicpharmacy.org/
I agree with ant about rashes. Your skin is the largest eliminative organ, so it's just one more way your body can get rid of toxins. My frequent rashes stopped along with other Lyme and Morgellon symptoms, after more than a year of herbal treatment.
