Hi John,
Thanks very much for your recipe--I have obtained several of the ingredients and it is helping me very much!!! I can't find the post where you gave the info to obtain the Seven Forest Herbal Formulas anywhere. My local herb store doesn't have or know all of the ingredients, and my on-line searches under Seven Forest don't yield their product formula for Spirochetes ,Triphala, and Sarsaparilla.
Could you possibly give the name of the place in Ashville I believe you wrote you could get this one?
Many, many, many thanks, Spunky

If is difficult to know what knocked out the Lyme and what stopped the Morgellon symptoms, but Cat's Claw is high on our short list for the gold medal. I sit in a wooden chair- no fabric- most of the time. For TV time, we have a leather couch and antique wooden chairs with leather seats. We use a leather treatment with Manuka in it from New Zealand. Manuka is a cousin to the Tea Tree.
Ching-hao or Artemesia Annua and Artemisinin was bought from the Organic Pharmacy in Asheville: www.organic-pharmacy.com/ARG.Artemisinin.htm
The Seven Forest herbal formulas No. 6 and 18 came from a local Acupuncturist. The Sarsaparilla and Triphala (the formula from India) were purchased from a local health food store. Here are a couple of references to Chinese Herbal treatment for Lyme/Leptospirosis/Malaria/Babesia/ Syphilis/Schistosomiasis. www.itmonline.org/arts/lyme.htm www.itmonline.org/arts/chinghao.htm If you don't have any luck finding the Seven Forest formulas on-line, check with a local ND or Acupuncturist. Thanks, John!
When I was the worst and had accidentally burned my skin with benzalkonium chloride (thought it was lice), I also used Manuka honey from New Zealand on my skin, wrapped in cotton. It was the only thing I could tolerate; healed it and helped purge the Morgellons from the area--drew them into the cotton.
With kids, we don't have much fabric on furniture in our house, either--carpets will be replaced with wood, in time.
Silver, cat's claw, olive leaf and oil of oregano are definitely helping me, along with the wormwood (artemesia annua) mix to eliminate parasites. Now to figure out how to get all that down a child--not easy.
Thanks so much for your help!!! Spunky

Oh John, that is just so funny! What I actually meant by where do you sit now was are you still infested internally? But the information you gave is just great. Thanks for making me smile this morning! All the best...I love your spirit. T

I've been symptom free for about five months now, so the herbs took about a year to knock out the infection. About the sitting on wood; old habits die hard, especially when they use to bring relief.
The main reason I hold out hope for others good health is because I have mine back.
It is interesting that after writing frequently about Cat's Claw since March of 2004, both here and on NUSPA, there are many who post here who still don't know about it. Blue Skies................John

Hi Spunky, You're welcome. Thanks for reminding me about Oregano. I forgot to mention it in my first post on this thread. It has really helped us in the past and my wife feels like it's second only to Cat's Claw for the Morgellon symptoms. What we did was purchase the pure liquid form from the Mediterranean and then put it in 00 capsules with olive oil as the base-- about 4-5 drops of oregano per capsule. It's potent. The Kyolic garlic immune formula has oregano in it. Blue Skies....................John

Oil of oregano drops in tomato juice or clamato mix taste like a bloody caesar . I now take about 15 a day after lapsing...and look what happened to my mouth when I lapsed! Start small - one or two drops only. The stuff can burn until you are used to it. Jane D.

Hi Jane, Hope you are feeling better.. When the Oregano is mixed with Olive Oil and put in a capsule, there is no problem with burning, at least nothing that Annie and I noticed. Blue Skies.............John

Just my two cents....
Since I upped my olive leaf extract intake with the cats claw. I am having diminishing symptoms once again. Thats with the aloe added.
The oil of oregano...I can only tolerate a little bit. Funny I could tolerate it better b4.

Thanks to everyone posting here, this is a handy, concise thread! I thought I would mention, there is oregano spirits, a tincture, not so oily of course, made by Herb Pharm. I used that directly in the lesions on my forearms (concentrated the effort there) for months and it finally healed every single lesion, but it took a LOT of applications and many bottles. www.herbpro.com does sell discounted herbpharm and also in 4 oz. size. I believe it was able to kill what was living in the deep, non-healing lesions. No luck for me topically with the "oil" of oregano. spec

Triphala; a 3500 year old recipe for good health, whether your nemesis is bacterial, fungal, viral, or amoeboid. One of my favorites, it's also a mild laxative. Also, it is a very strong antioxidant and anti-cancer supplement- a gift from India. www.botanicalpathways.com/issue16/triphala_16.htm

Dear John,
Wow! That is amazing. I've been upping my daily dose of Cat's Claw, and planned to add Olive Leaf Extract and Oregano Oil. Just to tell you a little about me...my symptoms are pretty mild, maybe because I've only had this for six months...mainly it is the infestation, the granules, a few black flecks, no lesions or fibres to date. I have not been tested for LD. Were you and Anne Bowen tested? In June, I started taking Pomegranate and Ionic Minerals and that knocked out a lot of the infestation, itchiness and brain fog I had been suffering. Yet I still have something bugging me...some crawling sensations in the extremeties and occasional itching and stinging sensations. The black specks seem to be less without lots of carbs and/or sugar...have a theory about it, but I am still testing that one out.
I am curious about the relationship of Morgellons to Lyme Disease. My herbalist mentioned that he attributes Lyme Disease to Aluminum Poisoning which in turn causes the immune system to fail--an interesting take on it. He recommended silica to help balance out the aluminum. When I had my hair analyzed years ago, I did show aluminum toxicity. He also recommended Olive Leaf Extract and the Oregano Oil. I read up on the Seven Forest Herbs and will add these as I can afford just to be safe, and you just wrote about Triphala. I am now curious about the Teasel when you have some time.
Thank you so much and I will keep you posted on how I am coming along. Oh, and do you have any suggestions on how you overcame things in the car? Again, when it's convenient for you. Bye for now. Blessings, T

Dear John,
Wow! That was a great article by Barbara Hall. I purchased the book by Matthew Wood yesterday afternoon and read the part about teasel. Very encouraging when put together with her article. He also had information about taking callendula internally, something I have been curious about. His book seems so complete. I look forward to reading it cover to cover.
Now, onto the million dollar question of the day: How is one able to be tested at Bowen and then go on to treat naturally? I would like the test to rule LD in or out. However, I am nervous about telling a doctor I want to use alternative treatment if positive. How were you and Ann able to navigate this curve?
Thanks for "being there" for me. I mean it from the bottom of my heart. You are a blessing. Bye for now, T

Hi T, Annie and I just picked a doctor who we knew was open to alternative treatment or a combination treatment with drugs. I'm a nutritionist (M.Ed.) and Annie has a background in healing that included herbs, so we just told our doctor outright what we wanted from her and how we planned to fight the Lyme, if we had it, and the Morgellons. Our doctor gave us 4 weeks of low dose doxycycline and then we started the herbal treatment. We are very happy with the results, knock on wood. Blue Skies.....................John

Dear John,
I notice you are in North Carolina. Would you be willing to refer me to your doctor. I know you will not want to name them over the board, but is there some other contact? I am within traveling distance to North Carolina. Right now in North Florida, but new here. And I do understand if you are not comfortable with this. Thanks, T

Dear John,
I have registered now but am still waiting on my password. When it comes, I will message you. In the meantime, I was curious how much ionic silver are you taking?? Thank you for simply always being there. You are such an encouragement to me and I know to many others as well. Bless you, T

Dear John, Good morning! I have been researching the different herbs in your earlier post. Found Rain-Tree.com--your source for Cat's Claw, and your source for Teasel. What about Sarsaparilla? Would you recommend one source over another? What amounts do you and Annie take of this? I found a source for the Seven-Forest Herbs: www.chineseherbs.net/china/seven.asp. They seem reasonable and come in 700 mg. capsules. If you have an extra minute to spend, would you check them out and let me know what you think. Also, in an article I found and posted in Lyme Discussion (Thread titled: Fascinating Article) the doc pulses the Cat's Claw and Teasel. What do you think about that? This thread is so handy and informative, I thought I'd spice things up by asking some of my notorious questions. Hope you don't mind. For those who might find it of interest, I did have a Bowen Lyme test done which was positive in spite of what one might term very subtle symptoms. Never in the world would I have suspected this except for this site and a few individuals who also tested positive. All for now, John. Florida Gal aka T
