Ant or Anyone Else Who can help with question:
How do I make a "backup copy" of a DVD? I tried. I failed.
I know this much: Tower has 2 compartments. The "source" goes on the bottom (DVD to be copied) and the blank goes in the top compartment.
After that, I get lost. It doesn't automatically copy by just inserting both discs into correct compartments. The DVD plays and nothing happens.
I clicked on (e) drive because ( C )and (d )didn't seem to pertain. I thought maybe this was the key. It gave me intructions that I don't understand and don't have a copy to post here. The words they used did not impart action meaning to me.
Thanks for help Betsy

Just saw this Betsy, am thinking you may have already resolved this by now but here is a little info. If you're talking DVDs you purchased, it's pretty much illegal to do this BUT there are also many free and for-fee programs out there that do just this. Go figure! A little info can be found at the two sites below, but a quick search will bring up many other options as well. Good luck! www.ehow.com/how_2222401_copy-dvds-onto-computer.htmlwww.dvdshrinknow.com/
