When using Lymebusters, there is no need to remember all the necessary codes for various functions, since they are all available to you just above your posting window.
Changing Font
Place your curser at the beginning or end of the material you want to change, then left click and drag across until it all is highlighted. Then just above your posting window, you will see rows of icons and the Red A represents a change of font. Clicking on it will automatically give you the Verdana font but you can backspace over that word and type in the name of your favorite font type instead.
Changing Font Color
As above, highlight what you want changed and then click on the drop-down window that says "colors", choosing your preference by clicking on it. There are many more colors than what is offered here and if so desired, you can insert the name of your favorite color instead of using those furnished here.
Changing Font Size
As above, highlight the text you want to enlarge and then click on the black A with a vertical arrow next to it. This will automatically give you the 2 size, but you can backspace over that and enter whichever number you like. By using the Preview function, you will be able to see if it's large enough and if not, go back and enter a higher number.
Other Functions
You will note that above your posting window there are many functions available. Play around with them and you will see there are many fun and interesting ways to add uniqueness to special posts. You can make them [glow=red,2,300]glow[/glow] with the Green G, underline with the Underlined U, italicize with the I, and add Bold texture with the B icon.
Other functions are the [shadow=red,left,300]shadowed D[/shadow] and (represented by the M and left-facing arrow). You can also change your text so it will be centered, paragraph indented, bullet style, etc. just by using the general icons that are always displayed for these various functions.
Just remember: highlight the text you want altered, then click on the appropriate icon and that's all there is to it.
If you would like to learn the codes for use on other internet sites that allow it and don't have our specialized icons, please see the post made by Ant:
