It's no wonder the USA has had all the bad storms and there is no doubt more to come. Take a look at this, it's unbelievable!

WAL-MART BANS CHRISTMAS:
BOYCOTT LAUNCHED
A woman who recently complained to Wal-Mart that the store was replacing “Merry Christmas” with “Happy Holidays” received an e-mail response from Customer Service. It appears below in its exact form:
“Walmart is a world wide organization and must remain conscious of this. The majority of the world still has different practices other than ‘christmas’ which is an ancient tradition that has its roots in Siberian shamanism. The colors associated with ‘christmas’ red and white are actually a representation of of the aminita mascera mushroom. Santa is also borrowed from the Caucuses, mistletoe from the Celts, yule log from the Goths, the time from the Visigoth and the tree from the worship of Baal. It is a wide wide world.”
To which Catholic League president Bill Donohue says: “This statement was signed by someone called Kirby. When I read it, I thought he might be drunk. But I was wrong. We sent Kirby’s response to Wal-Mart’s headquarters only to find that Dan Fogleman, Senior Manager, Public Relations, agrees. After acknowledging that he read Kirby’s response, Fogleman said, in part, the following”:
“As a retailer, we recognize some of our customers may be shopping for Chanukah or Kwanza gifts during this time of year and we certainly want these customers in our stores and to feel welcome, just as we do those buying for Christmas. As an employer, we recognize the significance of the Christmas holiday among our family of associates…and close our stores in observance, the only day during the year that we are closed.”
Bill Donohue says: “It’s nice to know that Wal-Mart is closed on a federal holiday. Now here is why I am asking the leaders of 126 religious organizations that span seven religious communities to boycott Wal-Mart. Go to its website and search for Hanukkah and up come 200 items. Click on Kwanzaa and up come 77. Click on Christmas, and here’s what you get: ‘We’ve brought you to our ‘Holiday’ page based on your search.’ In other words, Wal-Mart is practicing discrimination.” Contact Fogleman at dan.fogleman@wal-mart.com.
The Catholic League is the nation's largest Catholic civil rights organization. It defends individual Catholics and the institutional Church from defamation and discrimination.

If I were you I'd be checking Snopes.com for confirmation of this. If it turns out to be accurate information I guess I'll just have to add Wal-Mart to the list of people who can just KMA!!!

It's true I called them today and they verified it, anyone who doesn't think there is a conspiracy against Christians in this country is only fooling themselves.

The number is 1-800-WALMART please call their PR department and tell them. These department stores rely on our business for their Christmas sales and yet there is not one Merry Christmas sign or even the mention of the word Christmas in any of the stores. Nativity scenes are not to prominent either.
I went to the drug store tonight and they had their cards in a big case with "HOLIDAY CARDS" written all over it, not one word about Christmas and they were all Christmas Cards! This was CVS.
The Walmart web site will give you 200 references to Chaunaka and 77 to Kwanza but if you search Christmas it gives you the word Holiday.
Target, K-Mart, Sears, Sam's Club and BJ's are not saying Merry Christmas either. I don't know about the others.

I can understand their reasoning for this due to the fact that they are in hundreds of other countries, I just don't understand their remedy. Each country should be able to advertise their holiday merchandise the way that they wish. If some Walmart manager in Sudan wants to change it to Happy Holidays, go for it buster. But in our country, it should always remain Merry Christmas and more needs to be done to ensure this tradition and religious holiday is never forced to change.

Recently received a catalog of what I thought were Christmas cards. It did contain some CHRISTMAS cards, but most of them referred to the "holiday season", or said "happy holidays". So many in this country turn their backs and conspire against that which is proven and true "God" and wonder how and why all of this could happen. No reverence and no faith equals no conscience. Without a conscience, anything goes.

it's true. if you want to purchase anything that is christmas related.....and i mean the celebration of the birth of JESUS CHRIST, you have to go to a christian book store.
Jesus is the reason for the season
it's not...... who can decorate their front lawn with the most holiday crap and especially not some jolly, bearded, bafoon dressed in red and white

Our ancestors in the declaration of independance and the constitution called for seperation of church and state, that meant that the church was no longer to going to serve as the law makers, judges and etc. back in old days, the church was the law enforcment agancy and judge, jury and punisher and a country had to practice that one religion. Our ancestors founded this country on christianity and it was not meant that we drop or alter our beleifs, they gave us a choice to practice any religion we wanted and that the church not be invovled in the politics, that is all that was meant by seperation of church and state. It never meant that we should abolish God from our lives, like we can no longer say the pledge of alegance because it says one nation under God, or that we can no longer say the Lords prayer or have any prayer in school, or that we change our money, In God we trust. Bush and the new world order are frightening, this is a bad thing, very bad, we are carving God out of our lives the very thing that our country was founded on, look at the moral destruction it has caused in this country. They took those words sepration of church and state way out of context and boy they are using it and brain washing people with their interpetation. We were at one time a great nation, but God will not stand for this. The way our country treats its citizens now is a tradgey. I have no pride about my country any more and I don't think of us as a great nation, I see us falling straight into the hands of hell. USA was on top for years, but every doggy has its day, The New World Order will be our downfall and the Bushy folks are strong proponants. I am terrified and sickened by all of it. Please every one fight back on this, because God is the only one who can really save us. The constitution guaranteed the right of everyone to practice theri own beleifs, but it did not give anyone the right to abolish the religion this country was founded on .If we respect others who come here and don't share our beleifs then they should respect our beleifs and leave our beliefs alone. The USa has now let others take control of us and dictate how its going to be, it is unbelievable, thats not being strong, that is being controlled. God Bless everyone, LadyCop10 Love to all, LadyCop10

LMAO!!!! This, by far, has taken the cake!!! No offense, as I'm a proud Catholic; pray every day, but: A) What does this have to do with Lyme or Morgellons? ? B) My God we're bored (seems to me), aren't we!!! C) In the business world, do you all realize the cost of what you are asking?? You're asking them to supply cards for Every Religion in the world on their shelves. They might be able to afford it, but this is a once a year holiday, and yes, I know what it is for in MY EYES....and others' may have a different Opinion, but: Companies like Wal-Mart (and Target and so on) are being targeted unfairly, in MY Opinion, as what is appropriate and not as in cards for holidays they didn't invent (or start - however ya wanna look at it), or nativity scenes, or even addressing said holidays in Any manner or form. Just consider how many countries or religions for that matter, there are in the world in the first place. Then consider the fact that they don't make the actual cards that are being sold in the stores in the second place - for fear of being sued by one "church" or another. In the third place, these are businesses, not churches...these are people trying to make money (like us regular -average joe- people that do the same by Working for these companies, work for ourselves or however you get your daily pay)....get a grip people. Opinions are a great part of being human, but remember, we ALL have one going this way and that way. I think we need to consider others' and stop being selfishly so critical of EVERYTHING in the World. Not to say that there aren't things going on in this lovely world that don't require everyones attention and criticism, there are, but - to isolate and actually discriminate against the fact a store somewhere is selling a card that says "Happy Holidays" , or decides to adjust their holiday scenes, is just plain a waste of time and not worth getting all bent out of shape over. If you disagree with these cards, or the stores' nativity scenes for that matter....just don't shop there. Or, for better words, just get the cards you want at a different store even. Makes sense to me, doesn't it to you?!?! I don't agree with what they are doing sometimes either, but, for goodness sake - I think a business has a right to try to appeal to ALL people of the Earth by their own choosing. By the way - I LOVE Christmas!!!! I LOVE Santa's "bowl full of jelly"....at least he doesn't complain about dizzy things like this subject As for church and state.....that has nothing to do with Wal-Mart and it's cards or scenes for the upcoming and other holidays....these pepole are just tryin' to stay in business and make a buck, and trying to please Everyone around the World in doing so. Yeah, maybe the good ol' USA is heading toward a downward spiral, but that isn't any one store chains fault. There are people switching their "faith"s all the time, and have been for years and years and years. After we die, it will still continue....businesses will still try to please all of their customers....and who knows, the good ol' US of A will still probably have controversial issues to the end of time. It's not like Wal-Mart is out to hurt Anyone, at least I seriously doubt it. It wouldn't make sense to. I think that too many people in the world simply just pick something to complain about, whether or not it's justified or not, and run with it (like I do with the Government issues and Morgellons - LOL). I understand when it comes to a human beings' Health, or welfare in a serious form, not a religious form....it's good to voice yourself....but as for religion....keep it seperate and in MY Opinion, I don't think it should be on this type of web board - somewhere else maybe, but not here - as the focus here isn't about this discussion....I mean, I could see if Wal-Mart was ONLY selling Kwanzza cards, but they aren't even going that way in their practices - for fear of being sued by SOMEONE. It's like suing Mickey-D's for getting fat, that's just rediculous - you made the choice to eat there, not them....it's YOUR choice to shop or eat there, if you don't like what ya see or their selection or nativity scene, don't act like they are trying to destroy a certain religion - because that isn't even the case - just go to a different store. Now if Wal-Mart wants to open a store in a town of 1200 people, where the people there are already all working somewhere, then that's different (which still doesn't belong on this site).....this is nothing like that. I mean, c'mon people. Don't bash Wal- Mart and Target stores for something they are doing to Try to Please EVERYONE. The same goes for Ralph's, and 7-Eleven even (LOL)......sheeesh......like I said, getta grip. This all is just a something else to complain about. I'm sure that God, in his own house, see's what is going on, and if he Really had a problem with it - I'm sure Wal-Mart's all around the world would be burning to the ground in a firey ball. TonyM

TonyM With all due respect, If you don't like it posted here in the morgellons thread, just don't go here. Sticking out your tongue at such an issue is childish. You're missing the whole point anyway but that's okay. It's true this probably should be on the offtopic board but it's not that big of a deal having it here is it? Not enough to warrant your post I don't think. I see too much anger and criticism over the wrong things.

Dear Guest, I am not even close to angry, I am laughing at this actually.....I think these things should be dicussed somewhere OTHER than a Morgellons Disease board. AND - If you're going to quote me, at least include the Entire post, ya know what they say about opinions don't ya....everyone has one, and I stated mine. I TOO see too much anger and criticism as well over the wrong issues - for this isn't why I joined Lymebusters - and continue to give my input on what helps Morgellons' sufferers - See 'Symptom, source & remedy database survey', as I gave a cure that worked for me for the sores. And to call me childish? Anyways - This is one of the reasons why I barely come here in the first place anymore, because of people like you that say things like that, but are affraid to even say who you really are. How cowardly. I am sorry for even joining now, and might just never come back. As for the point, I DO get the point, and it involves way too much opinionated criticism. Stick that in yer pipe an' smoke it! LMAO!!!! Ladycop: Sounds like you're very well educated to the mainstream of society, this is a good thing. God Bless to you too. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional and A+ Certified Tech by Comptia, so I am educated also. I also have 3 years in electronics; 3 years in Food Service and Hospitality and belong to FHA HERO too. I also can gut and rebuild a house on my own, and weld too (MIG, TIG, ARC; GAS). That all took years to learn, and am proud to be an educated person. I am just someone who likes to keep things in their respective spots, sorta speak. I apologize to ANYONE I might have offended. I might be back, I doubt it though - this place poses too much stress for me and my well-being. In other words, for those that can't understand, I'm not trying to get all upset over things said here anymore. Good Bye, Good Luck,,,,,,,and, of course - GOD BLESS AMEN TonyM p.s. - Thanks to Lymebusters for allowing me to learn all that I could about Morgellons and for allowing me to post my OPINIONs as well as others' were allowed. I probably will not be back - Good Luck in ALL of your endevors.

Tony M,
Hey ......MERRY CHRISTMAS.........Rembember Jesus was born in a manager........in a natural setting.........with beast of burden........calves..........under the skies with a star in the east.............has nothing to do with religion. Has to do with Nature............Christmas tree has to do with Nature......therein we find the answers. It is very simple...........that is why we say Christmas.......you are Catholic........a mass for Christ...........
Tony don't leave.......please.........have live christmas trees had any effect on you? They used to drive me crazy.........so I have an artificial tree. Seems collembolas and gnats were coming off tree. Did you ever have that?
Don't leave, I like your voice on here, in fact, I wondered where you went. So, plllllllllllllllllllllllease don't leave.

So what are you saying Tony, that we should hide Christmas here too because it's the "great" Morgellons board? Christ is a reality and more important than Morgellons or anything else, Christmas is a reality too and if you are offended like so many (i.e., certain walmart shoppers and other faiths) are these days, maybe you should read some of the other threads here and just leave this one alone.
To some of us this subject is very important, critical in fact, we don't ask you to share our thoughts but we do ask for respect for our opinions. Like I said before, it's no wonder so much is going wrong these days....
