Don't even remember how I found this site, but it is unusual. This facility in India is well established and treats MANY different disorders. The woman who seems to have been treated successfully is in white in the picture. Of course, I'm not going to India!!! But it is a different perspective and shows how widespread this is. www.cidpusa.org/Capsicum.htmBessie

Bessie, Interesting ................. You know my friend that has morgies she just got back from India , ..she had hip replacement done there because for one it's way cheaper plus she had family to stay with . I have heard of others doing the same thing because it's more affordable. It sounds like the doctors there are much more open minded than these western docs. massena

liatris - When you go to the link, there is a menu bar on the left and you would click "home" to see it. The link brings you directly to the Morgellons patient & the story. Bessie

bessie, My sister Chaos first found fibers coming from her knees after applying antibiotic ointment then capsaicin cream.
Horrified she searched the INTERNET and ( having Lyme's already ) found the Morgellons explanation which fit her symptoms.
I have an Scientific article saved on my other computer that explains why this works. Later I will try to post it.

Capsicum? I think seriously I eat more hot peppers (jalepenos)and salsa per week (and always have since a kid) than anyone I've ever known or heard of. ((( I love em. ))) If this were the cure, I'd of never gotten Morgellons (I do believe). I don't have an occassional hot pepper, I eat probably two cans (of Herdez) Jalepenos per week...and that's never changed for at least 25 years- plus jars (1-3) of salsa per week...and no matter where I've traveled to, my suitcase is packed with my cans of peppers! Call me whatever , but I really mean it when I say I love em! People who know me, they cannot believe how many peppers I eat. I eat them with (everything), I even eat them before I go to bed, (habeneros stuffed in olives). I'm dead serious. Mr Toni, oh...I blew him away at the beginning of our marriage, but now he's "accustomed" to it, he knows me and hot peppers just go hand in hand like my name, haha ...really. I don't know why I crave them as I always have, but many times I've said if there were only one food on the planet I could eat...well...it would be my peppers. Okay...hhahah ;D that's my hangup and weirdness exposed! ;D I'm a hot pepper freak! ;D

Possibly tonie they are keeping you from turning trans-human? Lilsissy Here is an explanation if you drink milk with your peppers? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CapsaicinDairy products are one of the most effective forms of relief; casein, a phosphoprotein found in milk, acts as a detergent to dissociate the capsaicin from nerve receptors, allowing it to wash away. (Dustrophsky, 2006). [8]

This is telling me something, I have recently read that cell walls need phosphate to keep other organisms out. I am allergic to milk which contain a dietary source of phosphate. I am also allergic to grains which also contain phosphates. All casiens!!!!!!!!!! From your milk connection tonie , I see I am probably lacking in phosphates in my diet which would allow for foriegn invaders in my body. Possibly your pepper and milk diet are cancelling each other out too. Are we lacking phosphates? Lil Sissy

Thanks Lilsissy for the article. I found this in that link you provided, and how funny I find it because I think it's true!
From Article and how interesting too:
It is common for people to experience pleasurable and even euphoriant effects from eating capsaicin-flavored foods. Folklore among self-described "pepperheads" attributes this to pain-stimulated release of endorphins, a different mechanism from the local receptor overload that makes capsaicin effective as a topical analgesic. _______________________________________________
That's me (pepperhead) ;D I will admit, eating hot peppers do give a feeling of well being! And heck maybe that's why I do feel great all the time, the endorphins are being released from eating all the peppers I do!
I'm high on endorphins being produced by peppers ( I guess I like being a pepperhead) hahaha
Lilsissy, I'm not a big milk drinker, I tried drinking a glass a day with Carnation Instant breakfast, but that lasted only a few weeks. I've never been big on milk, but I use it daily (topically).
Curly, hahah that's funny! ;D
