JJ yes, I believe we've got the same thing going on, with the hair "expansion" too.
Something else too I forgot to mention, my hair (is yours also) growing in super dark? My head hair is coming in darker than ever and "everywhere else too for that matter".
Not that it's like "morgie hair" it's regular hair, just super dark.
I do take estradiol daily (1-2mgs only). Have for approx 5 years.
I feel too that all the supplements I'm taking are actually helping this occurance, as I also take "womens" supplements too" which are only (Swansons' Red Clover Combination) and (Swanson's Women's Prime Multi) - they're loaded with good healthy stuff too.
But you know, now that I think about it more, these supplements aren't what I took 2 years ago.
Biotin and Niacin I've always taken ( and something I did notice years ago before Morgs) was that my hair instead of "getting any grays" my hair began growing out darker than it's ever been - but that's increased now.
I'd read approx 8-10 years ago, that (biotin and Niacin) can actually cause pigment in hair, vs loss of pigment - I was concerned about possibly getting "gray hair" as my mother turned gray at an early age, so I began taking the (biotin 5mgs) only once a day with a niacin for best absorption.
I'll sure say I don't feel I need to worry about that though, gray hair. If anything I've got to lighten my hair cause it has gotten so dark.
I know hair follicles go into a dormant stage, but I personally feel that the niacin and biotin and "all the other supplements" I'm taking has caused or enduced growth and density (in combination with something that Morgellons consists of).
I sure don't get it, but here's what it ( feels like to me).
And this sounds "off the wall" but it's the feeling for the last few years now.
That "whatever supplement I take, it feels like my body is utilizing them to the max."
So in a way that's a great thing, but on the other side of the coin....it shouldn't be, not to this degree.
So when I take (skin and hair) supplements, it "feels/seems" like everything is 'enhanced' because of - Morgellons, because of what I'm seeing, the increidible fast growth, the darkening and density of my hair, and skin healing.
Over the last few years, getting a cut here or there (and even a year or two before I knew I had Morgellons) doctors/surgeons after a 'cosmetic surgery' commented on how much they couldn't believe how fast I healed. Me either! I mean when I get even a cut on finger from slicing and dicing (cooking) the cut is healed and gone in no time.
That's why I feel "everything ingested" must be good stuff, cause for some reason it "seems to me" that it's utilized moreso than ever.
Also I don't drink alcohol, ((( I love wine )) but from people I've spoken with, that too seems to cause a "negative reaction" to the body healing. So, I keep away from it.
You know, I shouldn't say a "negative reaction" as I did in the paragraph above but....I'm trying to be very specific. What I mean is "to me" Morgellons and alcohol do not like each other, and the body "appears" to me to get worse inside if alcohol is ingested.
They just don't go together for some reason-imho And I only say that, because of everyone I've spoken with, some from the board, and many not memebers, the people who drink alcohol are not doing as well as the people who do not. I don't understand it, but I've noticed that over 3 years now with consistency.
Just my observation.
PS...this just hit me, cause I was taking this supplement just now, and this one I've taken for approx 5-6 years, which is when I noticed my hair thickening more than ever (before I knew about Morgellons).
Also daily I take one Pumpkin Seed Oil supplement and one Sawpalmetto, (they tout this for men) but it is for men and women as it helps keep the conversion of Reductase to DHT from congesting hair follicles which happens to most. Plus they're not only good for the hair/scalp/follicles, but also great for the urinary tract in both men and women...been on those for 5-6 years too. That's why it (feels like) the benefits of these supplements are going an extra mile "because of one of the side effects of Morgellons".
