Wow Grady ! Good find
starts off "Over acidity, which can become a dangerous condition that weakens all body systems, is very common today. It gives rise to an internal environment conducive to disease, as opposed to a pH-balanced environment which allows normal body function necessary for the body to resist disease. A healthy body maintains adequate alkaline reserves to meet emergency demands. When excess acids must be neutralized our alkaline reserves are depleted leaving the body in a weakened condition. An Acid Alkaline Balanced diet, according to many experts, is a vital key to health maintenance. "
Grady ? how many do you think will stick this out till its better? or debate it to death? Glad your on board! ( Hugs) Moe

Honestly, I don't know, but dare I say that right now I'm in real good shape, I believe this to be that to be the result of my last 3 months effort to eat alkaline and stay alkaline. I've not been loyal to it completely, but I feel almost no crawling ever now, still not out of the woods, but so much healthier, I truly think PH balance is the best thing a morgie can do to regain some form of a normal life.
All summer I posted on here to eat watermelon everyday, it made me feel wonderful, then they went out of season, now I'm taking the Mag and it's helping so much (and being low on it has been behind a lot of my lagging issues). But then being acidic causes magnesium loss, perhaps to get morgellons you must be pretty acidic (I know I was) and then it only worsens after that.
Louis Pasteur's death bed confession: "…The microbe is nothing. The terrain is everything."
Medicine stood at a fork in the road, Lewis Pasture said germs are static (unchanging) and come in from the outside and make us sick. Meanwhile, his arch nemisis Claude Bernard was right, "The microbe is nothing, the terrain is everything!" This seemingly enigmatic statement by the founder of germ-theory, can be interpreted as follows: Various viruses and bacteria’s (microbes) which people contract, will not be able to overpower a healthy body/immune system (the terrain). Modern day researchers are, more and more, validating Pasteur’s death-bed insight. When it comes to disease, the microbe is, in most instances, not as important as the terrain--since those with strong immune systems may completely resist the infections to which they are exposed, or develop only milder forms of them.
Western Medicine took the side of Lewis Pasture over Claude Bernard and all you have to do is chart the rise in diabetes, ALS, Lupis, Chrones, Alzheimers, Cancer, and so on to reveal it's dismal failure. Claude Bernard was right, in fact, pleomorphism is what happens inside us, our very own cells turn cancerous or diseased because we allow the terrain to become a garbage dump of acid and very low oxygen.
The American Terrain is awash in acid, our bodies putrifying and decaying internally as we go about our business and degenerative diseases of all kinds await us, forget Morgellons, reclaim the terrain and Morgellons is sure to flee.

Grady ? May I make a suggestion? cause I too am disappointed that watermelon is out of season and thats on the top of the alkaline list .
Lemons however are second on that list and what I have been doing is using the bottle of concentrated lemon juice that you can get at any grocer ( Dollar store are cheaper ) I mix half water and half lemon juice in a glass filled with ice and drink that all day .. keeps the Ph alkaline maybe you can try that , if its too tart for you , you can sweeten it with a stevia tablet ( natural sweetener you can buy at a health food store or off line . Its very alkaline as well
