From the start I assumed my immune system was whacked out but tonight out of no where the saying God doesnt make mistakes popped into my head. What if our immune system is actually PROTECTING us by expelling the stuff from our body??? Maybe this has already been brought up? And what if some of the drugs (oral and topical) we've tried were kinda getting in the way? I was so close-minded about "natural healing". Oh I thought it was great for some illnesses but...not this. Nope I was convinced I needed the newest, strongest med available. Now I havent thought this through but what do ya think?

Hi Kiki,
When I first came down with this and spoke with a MD at the CDC, she told me that the skin does excrete toxins thru lesions.
I did NOT know at the time that I had morgellons. But I did have skin lesions.
I was exposed to bad water from a sewage leak and called the CDC.
In nursing school, it is taught that the SKIN is the largest ORGAN of the body. It breathes and works as a "FILTER" from our environment. Trys to keep bad things out and excrete bad things from within out.
We were taught that SKIN indicates many health conditions and it is part of the Patient assessment just like blood pressure and pulse.
So when our immune system is not functioning at optimal level, the skin can't do it job as well. The skin's primary function is PROTECTION.
