Did someone on this board say dont use petroleum jelly b/c parasites eat it? Also did I read peppermint oil in a base cream helps some people? My sanity is really being tested. My mind cant accept what my eyes see. There are just no words for the horror of this.

HUGS KIKI Plain petroleum jelly is acidic. I would not use it unless I put baking soda in it. I've seen this organism(s) thrive in an acidic environment. One scant teaspoon soda mixed real well in the petroleum jelly neutralizes the acid and heals nicely. Thin coats only. Reapply often. Also a small pinch of soda in a spray bottle will neutralize the spores that are causing the itch, the crawling and burning sensations. Just remember, these are NOT real worms. I'd bet everything on it. Please read the "trophozoite" thread 2nd& 3rd page. They are not real, they just look real... but are NOT!

Kiki, Try Vick's Vaporub on an area that seems to be very active. Just coat it on and let it be, do this when you can be at home. I tried it six years ago and had a rather painful exodus of G-d knows what come out of my skin. The derm I went to saw this half cup sample and his jaw dropped open. Prescribed me the requested six weeks of a sulfur-based medication but never sent the stuff out for an ID. when I went back to him, later he told me that there was nothing further he could do for me as he was not equipped to handle or identify the condition. I think he was scared silly by what he had seen. Whatever the base organism is that we have attracts insect life to us and that the Vick's will get rid of.
