I was wondering if Dr Wymore said anything about my test(s) results. Hope all is well!

This post makes me real curious and i dont expect answers - this was just a out loud thought....
How many have had either some sort of test- or sample looked at with no answers from Dr. Wymore>
I am not trying to bash someone who is "trying" to help our cause- but my family has all never heard anything positive from there- even autopsy samples were sent...
O.K.- yes, maybe i would like to stir things up- but this sit back and wait attitude isnt working- people are dying.
To much has been shut down- or discontinued without any explanation- even on this board (now I've done it again) I really am not a trouble maker but when i wanted to raise some hell in the past i have lost friends who were heading up research foundations who did not want to shake the system and make any enemys. The thought of taking "baby steps" makes me want to throw up! Maybe we could do a study of hot water heaters....never mind that has already done. .....
My girls and i call this the Sailor Disease sometimes because we tend to swear like a sailor sometimes.....You all have such important stories to tell - thats all.....

excerpt from: www.thenmo.org/rwupda01.htmFrom September 9, 2005 1) Two primary types of bacteria have been cultured from skins samples of multiple Morgellons patients. The bacteria are of two types; a chain or 2-4 rod-shaped bacilli and tiny, spherical, cocci/diplococci. On solid media the cocci make a hard membrane-like coating over the colony. The liquid culture of bacilli usually contains a very stringy material after a few days of culturing. Some macroscopic fibers have appeared in these cultures, but it is unclear where they are coming from. We are trying to determine whether they are environmental contaminants or a product of the bacteria. It is also possible that the long fibers are nothing more than DNA from the dead bacteria. We are currently performing PCR (to amplify the microbial DNA) and DNA sequence analysis of both of these isolated bacteria. These results should be available by the end of September or early October. 2) As mentioned above, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia.has been mentioned as a candidate, causative bacterium in Morgellons Disease. Amplification of DNA from the bacterial population isolated from the skin, scabs and shed material of the Morgellons patients and sequencing is still incomplete, although it will hopefully be completed during the next month or so. Bacterial isolates cultured from skin samples from four Morgellons patients residing in climatologically and geographically distinct areas of the United States have revealed no evidence of S. maltophilia thus far. Based on published reports, when S. maltophilia is cultured on blood agar plates there is a distinct flagellum (or multiple flagella) that is visible on the rod-shaped bacteria (bacilli). The bacilli that we have observed do not appear to be flagellated and are much longer than we would have expected for the characterized and published strains of S. maltophilia. They are also clustered in ways that do not look like the published images of S. maltophilia. DNA sequencing will give provide an answer as to whether this bacillus is present in Morgellons patients or not. There are 4 other areas of research that are ongoing or will be carried out during the upcoming months, and being carried out at laboratories in Oklahoma, California and Italy. These are: 1) a more detailed spectroscopic and microscopic analysis of the Morgellons fibers, 2) assaying of material from Morgellons patients for modified amino acid neurotoxins, 3) chemical analysis of the Morgellons fibers to determine the chemical composition and presence of unusual organic compounds and heavy metals and 4) analysis of tissue samples at the nano-molecular level to screen for foreign material that could be involved in Morgellons disease. Randy S. Wymore, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Pharmacology & Physiology Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and College of Osteopathic Medicine 1111 W. 17th St. Tulsa, OK 74107 ( I wonder if Italy has found anything out? )

Adill,
Gosh, I don't think you asking is anything that should upset anyone-that's a very normal question. I know we all are facing another end of "another YEAR" and we wish just to learn just something.
I'm so sorry Adill, I am sad for all of us. We sure never deserved this. I wish to God we just knew what to do, and what this is, and how to rid it forever.

Sorry to give wrong impression- the tests were done by 2 of my drs. Sidney asked me if I would send results to her because she wanted Dr Wymore to see them. Hate to be cynical but its better for me not to have expectations about morg research. That doesnt mean I dont appreciate legitimate efforts of those at least trying to help cause I do but water heaters? Really?? Wouldnt it have been more expedient and practical to have us test our own and use the money for research we couldnt do ourselves??? At this point I think its more likely a morgie will stumble onto something. But.....if my test results can even MAYBE help, Im game.

Hello Anne Dill... I feel your pain and am sorry. I guess I don't entirely as I've not lost a loved one as you but do have a very sick little boy.
The problem is that they do have answers, right? This and that. Autism and hiatal hernia...underlying causes? Parasites large and small and toxins...but why and how? Exposed from where?
Just like you're not being a smart ass and are tired of waiting and just want some answers I wonder from people that are waiting for answers don't you think we have answers? I promise I'm not being a smart ass either, I'm just honestly asking and I don't think your posts, for a second constitute you being an a$$hole.
It's unknown...but so is autism, psoriasis, hernia even asthma but it's really all in the same. Six of one, half dozen of another. They know some things, but why you and not me, they don't know...why? Because that is morgs to me...what's your poison?
We ain't special other then we feel it. Our people are lupus, cancer, heart disease, the foot jiggle, MS...all unknown or hereditary...just like morgs.
Randy Wymore is FABULOUS. I don't talk to him anymore but from when I did I found out a lot about him. He's in it for the right reasons and is dedicated to the cause. I truly feel that, I believe that in all of my being. I'm not sure why he doesn't keep in touch with us as we'd like and as he once mentioned he'd try to do but I feel he has, as I've always felt the best of intentions for us.

There appears to be a misunderstanding here that needs to be cleared up.
First, Kiki, I do remember your name as an infrequent poster at the "old board."
However, you and I have never communicated by phone, email, or by private messages. Therefore, I could not possibly have advised you to send specimens to Dr. Randy Wymore.
It is possible that I suggested to someone who knows you were looking for a place to send specimens that Dr. Wymore's name came up as a possibility.
Anyone who has this disease is suffering. That's a given. We would all love (and benefit) from information that would provide the answers we need regarding cause and cure.
We're frustrated and speaking for myself, often angry that answers have been in short supply, but just knowing there are a few dedicated scientists doing more than just "looking into" the Mystery of Morgellons must suffice for now and that sure beats where we were even five years ago.
Carrie, thank you for your kind words regarding Dr. Randy Wymore. He's a wonderful caring individual with no hidden or personal agenda and to know him is to love him.
