Talk about weird weather. For the last 2 hours it's been snowing, yep, snowing HERE of all places. I know many of you get to see this happen during the winter months, and I guess because it's so rare "here" it's absolutely a white wonderland outside right now. All the palm trees and shrubs are all flocked with WHITE SNOW! It's unreal, and beautiful! And the snow is coming down, like magic...oh I love it.

It's now snowing for hours (since this morn) and I can't even believe my eyes when I look outside, it's pure white with snow, everything ladened with a coated blanket of it.
I wish you ALL were here and we'd have some of those "hot toddies" to go with it! ;D

Robbie, you're the sweetest gal on planet Earth! Thank you! It's hard to imagine you on the other side of the world having that hot summer going on right now. It might be a good thing too, since you just had surgery, and the warm air I hope is helping you feel better, instead of wet and cold. And you too, have a wonderful Christmas and may God give us all the best gift ever, getting better. Take care, and WE ALL are thrilled you're back!

Wow Tonisue...that's amazing!!! I bet it's especially wonderful for you guys down there since it's such a rarity!
It started snowing Sunday morning and snowed all day...they called the schools closed before bed last night. It's been below freezing, in the 25 degrees since yesterday and many of the streets still have sheets of ice.
I love it ;Dtalk about bringing out the kid in me!!! Except after my 10th day of Amoxicillin this damn bronchitis kicked back up after 24 hours after the last pill...
It's supposed to snow again Wednesday and Thursday and stay freezing into next week! Whoo hoo let the sleighs rein!!!
Enjoy it Mommasue! Every one else too...enjoy! No Bah Humbark...(huh hum Daryl)...no snow balls at the Jack Frosts...this is just too much fun!!!

I love watching the snow fall and seeing the world covered in those pristine flakes. It's a beautiful thing, even more beautiful if it disappears the next day without a trace.

It's been snowing here all day today (Wednesday.) We don't get much of it when it does snow. But on occasion, like today....... it's beautiful. We already have 2 feet and it's still snowing. It makes me feel good inside.
I remember it snowing in Vegas when I lived there. I was 17, so it's taken some time for it to snow again there!
I'll have to find an upload service and post a pic!
love ya's ~~ bannanny

... Las Vegas hits the Jackpot for snow in December... An all-time record snow for the month of December in Las Vegas was set yesterday December 17th 2008. 3.6 inches of snow was measured at the National Weather Service office located about 2 miles southwest of McCarran International Airport. This broke the record for the most snow ever in the month of December in Las Vegas since the start of official records in 1937. 10 inches of snow is predicted for today! www.wunderground.com/US/NV/020.html#REC

Here's what it looks like today....... alot of my trees are down tho. The weight of the snow broke so many branches, but they'll survive, they're Pepper trees and they grow back from the dead! You just might be getting this storm your way then toni!

We have snow here, not too much, I am in rural Oregon. This storm system looks like it is due to hang around through Christmas. I'm glad I did some insulating; I'm just staying home.
I'm glad the earthquakes didn't occur, that would have been a mess.
