Welcome home heyjewde,
That is so cute that your computer has a name! How did you protect "him" from the contaminaton? I just have to know since I am now very curious.
Thanks

thx kmarie...
well- he's up on a platform w/a clear plastic bag that fits perfectly down over the screen when open--and kinda rolled up at the bottom so nothing dumps onto the keyboard part--i have that covered w/saran and paper towel-- as i bought an external keyboard and mouse...keyboard is covered w/saran--secured underneath w/tape--large piece of saran just laying over the mouse and mouse pad together so it can be moved freely on the pad and still be protected from my fallout! i started out using a plastic bag on the keyboard but it clouded up w/i an hour or so...the saran's working out real well...i put this piece on 3 days ago --probably about 15hrs of actual use--and will be changing it before i "put him to sleep"!!!--looking like it's time to change the bag on the screen...may try the saran there,too...nothing's set in stone--still experimenting...so far i've been leaving it out --just closed down-covered w/tissue paper and a large box turned upside down over top of the whole area--mouse and pad included..paper table cloth covering the whole schpiel......cords are secured in lg ziplock and tacked to the wall(behind the computer--i face a small wall space w/a window on either side....i'm still in the dark ages and am using dial up--so the phone is mounted on that wall space too...and of course, it's got it's armor on!!! i probably sound like some sort of nut case---going thru all that jazz--but it actually takes less time to change things out than it did to type this....and i got NOTHIN' BUT TIME...no HEAVY DATES or PRESSING ENGAGEMENTS on my calendar!!! thx for the opportunity to share--and if you have any ideas of what else might work--i'm open!!!
later gator jude

Ive explained it before Kmarie but in case you missed it i wanted to take a break from thinking about morgellons and even friski herself LOL So i havent read much here the last few months. I still only read a couple threads . I think Im just burned out reading about morgellons and dont want to think asbout it much anymore. Im better off emotionally if i dont think about it. But i still love you guys and have really missed being here. Also been very busy with other things but have plenty of down time right now and appreciate everyones feedback on the insurance thread

Hi Kmarie,
Merry Christmas to U and everyone!
The main reason for not writing, besides being a bit shy, but at least able to get thru shyness, is: This severe Nuero thing i have going on. Don't really know how to explain this its like I have no sense of time. Normal things done in everyday life take an unreasonable, if at all, amount of time to do. although, i am aware of the things that have to be done, need to, want to be done just never happens or if somehow get started doing something it could take hrs. and hrs. to complete. Feels like being in some kind of time warp.
Awhile back, at a doctors(former dr.) appt. I was explaining this nuero problem to the dr. and so he decided to do a "Nuero Transmitter" test, which is a urine/blood test, and when the test results came back it pretty much explained why that particular nuero problem was happening. Dr. explained to me that some of the nuerons in brain were damaged, he wasn't sure what caused it, possibly the Lyme, the nuerons that are damaged are the ones that tell or sends the msg. to the body to do something, Example: say your thirsty, the nuerons that transmit msg. to body that you are thirsty reacts, well, by going to get something to drink. Those Nuerons that are damaged have a delayed reaction.. This test did help in trying to help understand this major problem.
Some really scary stuff has been going on lately, I pulled two major muscles in one month (nov.) that landed me in the ER both times and was doing really nothing out of the ordinary to cause these pulls. First one, was cramped over, paralysed in pain, in the abdomin area thinking mabe was passing a kidney stone. Went to ER and was told that had "pulled groin muscle". Two weeks later, second one, was seriously thinking that I was having a heart attack-very sharp knife pains shooting up in chest area. Went to ER and was told had pulled chest muscle.
I really think a big part of this, with me anyway, along with other things is a Fungus or fungus related.
Really strayed off the subject here, I applogize!
I soooo do want/need to be more apart of this here, the support, friendship, ect.....
Thank you, patti2

Hi Patti2,
So glad you wrote and let go of the shyness for a moment. And we sooooo want you to feel comfortable here and obtain support.
As far as your neruo problems, thank you for explaining it so well. I too have had my share of neuro symptoms. I feel the neruo symptoms are worse if not equal to the skin problems. Gosh this ailments/symptoms with this never end.
I am sorry to hear about the pulled chest muscle. OUCH, bet that really does hurt. Muscle pain and bone pain can be horrific. I once broke my Sternem(sp) and felt like I was having a heart attack but that was when I was in my 30's. Had no idea that I broke my sternum(sp).
I had those tall bed post and walked into it and that is how I hurt my chest and broke the sternum(sp). IT was kind of embarassing. Right after I broke it, I was in a car accident and then hit the steerin wheel with my chest again. What a clutz I can be.
Back to the neruo problem...... you mentioned feeling like a time warp and I can so relate to that with the sense of a time warp.
Yep, a fungus is very likely a part of this. I just soaked my feet and used a toothbrush looking thing with a vibrator/brush to stimulate my feet for blood circulation and to get the fungal crust or morgie crust off. My feet always feel better after that. Most of my problem is in my lower legs not getting a sensory signal going back to my brain so I can't feel them halfway up my lower leg.
Well, it's getting late. So very happy that your dropped a line.
Thank you, Welcome and Please don't be shy anymore.
What I love the most about LB is how everyone sincerely cares about each other.
Sincerely,
Kmarie
