Two days ago I bought a product called Hibiclens ( Chlorhexidine Gluconate solution 4.0). After quite a long break I am having a rather severe bout of Lyme & Morgellons. I have new lesions on my chest, scalp and my feet have hundreds of new red speckled areas. Anyhow I don't think this stuff has had FDA approval for too long. The info I have been able to gather is that it is used as a pre-surgical scrub and for post surgical wounds and to ward off MRSA. It is an "antiseptic and a antimicrobial with rapid bacterial activity against a wide range of microorganisms." I initially just washed my hands with it and I noticed that the dark spots on my hands simply vanished so I applied it to my feet. I didn't rinse it off instead I put white socks on and left them on overnight. In the morning I was amazed that the spots, which usually lead to lesions, were completely gone! I then applied it to the new dark rough spots under my breasts. These didn't vanish but within hours were lightened by about fifty percent. The red spotty skin on the sides & bottom of my feet & ankles returned this afternoon, however very sparse & light. I will continue to use this stuff to see if it offers any long-term relief. I realize it does have some serious side effects but the results I have witnessed in just 2 days are totally amazing me. I washed my hair with it last night and although my scalp lesions didn't disappear they were significantly reduced in size & the scabs were noticeably softened. I have always had serious Morgellons outbreaks in the areas of old scars and I have one on the top of my left foot. It is the first place I check. When this old scar displays numerous red spots it is my warning sign. What really surprised me is that this stuff completely erased the spots from the area of the scar! I read they also sell this stuff in a wipe and it can be ordered by the gallon form Amazon & eBay. Maybe someone here has already tried it if so please post your experience. Most here already know I have had great luck with Doxy, bleach, cats claw, artemisinin and few other supplements. I was about to resume them all (no matter what anyone says about bleach it worked wonders for me) but will give this a try for a bit longer due to it's quick & unexpected results. Here is a link to get more info. Scroll down to request a free sample: www.hibigeebies.com/sports/I almost forgot to mention that many small (white or clear) hard, sharp particles arose out of my skin from behind my knees, my feet and between my breasts within just a few minutes of applying this stuff. I was still rubbing it in when I could feel the things raise up through the skin and I just ran my nails over them and they came out. Karen

Here it is Karen (these white super tiny things smaller than the width of a hair are amongst our specimens (it appears as these are simply sterilized pickings (with something luking within them).
This is a short 45 second video of the little white things rapidly moving amongst the specimen of Morgs (whatever it is).
Anyways, ONE drop of Chlorhexidine Gluconate solution to these moving (things) and that stopped em right in their tracks instantly!
Chlorhexidine Gluconate solution on (specimens) stops movement of whatever these super tiny white things are.
In this short video, you can see the Morgs specimens with the tinier white things moving about.
I wish these (ad's) that are next to the video didn't blow the page out so wide, I'm sorry, no other way to post these Utube videos without "their ads".

That brownish thread like strand in the video to the "left"...that is a human hair on the slide.
This way it can be seen how TINY these small moving white things really are (they're about the size/width) of a hair, and there's many of them.

As of today the scalp lesions have changed dramatically. When I first applied the Hibiclens they had hard scabs now they are soft, very soft. I use the Hibiclens alone to shampoo my hair...no shampoo or conditioner...now my hair feels great...as if I had used an expensive shampoo and conditioner! It has totally stopped the hair movement.
Hibiclens has not eased any of my internal problems like muscle pain & spasms, brain fog, etc.. But on the other hand it has dramatically lessened my skin eruptions and stopped them from forming serious lesions.
The info on the bottle says it keeps working for 6 hours when simply using it as hand wash and rinsing it off it is by rubbing it in and letting it remain on my skin I have noticed the improvement. The directions say to rub it in and dry with a towel for preoperative prep of a surgical site.
Oh and just a heads up read the directions carefully regarding the ear and eyes. Use in the ear can lead to deafness and eye injury. Also if you decide to use this in the mouth you should use the Hibiclens product that is made for a mouth wash or you risk permanent stains on your teeth.
I did read that it can be used to launder clothes but I know from experience that if you put bleach in with the stuff your clothes will have an abundance of red stains. I tried this on a pair of white socks and had to throw them away! So as the directions mention do not use with bleach or chlorine containing products as it will stain.
I will be ordering the wipes soon.

Yes, there's mouth washes that I'm using this also because of the Chlorhexidine Gluconate ingredient just like the "topical Hibiclens" soap.
And there's Bausch and Lombs XP eyedrops (got those too) because it's got the Chlorhexidine Gluconate also in them.
Revising here after my post ( the Bausch and Lomb XP soothing eyedrops don't contain this ingredient).
It's Sodium Hydroxide that's in the drops.

Toni,
Since you already have a bottle of Hibiclens why not try to use it as a shampoo? We have all seen your videos and read your great descriptions of your hair moving maybe it will put a stop to that as it did for me. I'm real curious about that.

Karen, I'll definately try it tomorrow, because my hair movement hasn't stopped. When I drink or eat something, my hair is in my mouth before the glass hits my lips, or the fork of food gets to my mouth. It's like my hair is either (sensing the moisture) and going for my mouth as soon as I open it...like grounding itself or something.
The Hibiclens in the blue bottle (the product is like a deep pink color) I use it on and off in the shower on my face, in fact it's on the shelf in there.
It has like a slippery feeling when you use it on the skin (after you wash it off). Do you know what I mean?
But I sure will try it on the hair. Thanks

Hibiclens is used all over health care facilities at the sinks in the soap to wash hands. Plus there is a spray bottle that can be sprayed directly on the skin. They have been using it for years.
Must be something to it.
great thread

Sure don't know why all the videos on threads are just showing a blank white box to me. It's reeeaaaally makin me mad... I wanna see the videos dam it!!
Ok, I'm over it...
That's even better news about your hair and lesions being soft now chaos! My hair does the jitterbug all the time too, so I'll definitely try it on my head. I ordered samples for the cleanse and the wipes... the wipes are called Hibistat if anyone wants to know. I have to go into town tomorrow tho so I'll check the store and see if they have any... a page on the site says they carry it at CVS Pharmacy, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Albertsons, Sav On, Osco Drugs, Eckerd Pharmacy and Brooks Pharmacy.
I'll be using the Dettol on my head and body tomorrow for the first time... ooooooooh, another test! I soaked my feet in it for about 45 min. After I had my feet dried and outta the tub it took 15 minutes but they felt better than they have in quite a while.
But during the soak... icy, burning, numbing, sting all the way up my legs to my knees and big bubbles of gel in the souls of them when I took 'em out. The gel crackled like glass breaking apart and had that good old electrical sting to it. After that it was all good tho, so to feel good after a reaction like that must mean it's doin somethin right eh? Have you guys ever tried that stuff?
I'll do the same with the Hibiclens and see what happens. To be honest, I don't care much for the consistency of the Dettol... but then it's probably just cuz all the goo in me it's coming in contact with is causing it to feel on the goopy side too. But your description of slippery sounded alot better to me toni... especially for removing this goop. Thanks guys...

I mentioned Morgellons on the product request page on the Hibiclens website, here is their response:
Karen,
From what I have read about Morgellons, it is one of those conditions that they just try different things to see what works. I am sure you know much more about the disease than I, but there are many skin conditions where this is the case. Where Hibiclens and Hibistat will definitely help is prevention and treatment of skin infections that can result from the broken skin caused by Morgellons.
Hibiclens and Hibistat are effective against Gram positive and Gram Negative bacteria, Enveloped viruses (herpes, HIV, etc), and some fungus. Hibistat will be a better against fungus due to the high alcohol content, but both products contain Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) which bonds to the skin and continues to actively kill pathogens on contact for up to 6 hours. Hibi is not absorbed through the skin into the system, but remains bonded to the outer layers of the skin. Hibiclens you use with water. Hibistat is the portable version that is alcohol based for when a sink is not convenient.
I hope this helps. If there are any other questions we can answer or if you think of any way we can be of help, please let me know.

My free samples came in the mail today with a info card about MRSA. I didn't know MRSA could live on clothes for 6 months!
So far the Hibiclens is doing a great job on all of my skin issues. The large discolored dark brown, dry spots containing tubular shaped rods have turned a pale brown color and the tubules are gone. It took me several months of antibiotics to erase these spots in the past.
What is really great is that all itching stops within a few minutes of using this stuff. The manufauturer says it keeps working for 6 hours and I believe it from what I have seen so far.

I ordered the samples and got the same exact email back too chaos... but in the first line, maybe he was speaking of you?
Robin,
I literally just got an email from someone that said they were having great success using Hibiclens to treat Morgellons.
From what I have read about Morgellons, it is one of those conditions that they just try different things to see what works. I am sure you know much more about the disease than I, but there are many skin conditions where this is the case. I emailed him back and he replied again...
Great. I hope it turns out to be a big help. Keep us informed on what you find.
Jack
By the time I got his 2nd email, I'd gone to town and bought a box of the Hibistat wipes... a little pricey tho at $10.00! I have to say that for me, the wipes were no different than the GermX antibacterial wipes are which are packaged the same way in individual foil packs (altho they come in a resealable foil bag too and not a box.) I'm not saying they weren't any good, cuz my new found GermX wipes I love. I just didn't see any difference between the two. The ingredients in the GermX are...
Aloe Barbademsis Extract, Glycerin, Lactic Acid, Water and Ethyl alcohol
But I'm just talking about the Hibistat wipes cuz I haven't tried the Hibiclens yet. I got my samples of the Hibistat and the Hibiclens yesterday tho. I'm doing a protocol now with the Dettol on my hair, but I'll try the Hibiclens on it Wednesday and let you now how it works there for me.
