Hi guys I have started taking Clove and Cats Claw and I find that one of them seems to be making me feel much better. I am trying to figure out which one and am leaning towards the clove. This is what happens. I get warm and I sweat and I feel this sense of being unpoisened for awhile. Am thinking of increasing the clove but I suppose there can be too much of a good thing. This is making me think of adding some cayenne to. Am also doing bvitamins (good for the nerves)black walnut (which i think makes me feel bad at least temporarily and wormwood. Any herbalists out there or other peoples experiences? ;D

Clove is supposed to kill the eggs of parasites according to Hulda Clark and others. I know way back when it had a dramatic impact on slowing my crawlies down from the initial onset of massive crawling, I think it kills whatever gives us the crawlies, maybe not a cure, but good nonetheless.

Hi ibz.
Glad to hear you are feeling some good things! You mentioned it could be more to do with cloves, which is very possible but I think it may have more to do with Cat's Claw, IMHO. From my own experience with CC and cloves during a same rotation and then ongoing Cat's Claw for a very long rotation, my experience was a huge improvement I attribute directly to CC.
Cat's Claw is a powerful immune potentiator or stimulant. It specifically targets the NK cells (natural killer white blood cells) and increases their numbers. These number are reflected from what I understand on a CD 57 count. The higher the CD 57 count, the better off you are. It is also my understanding that Cat's Claw is used by Lymies when antibiotics fail or in late stage or chronic Lyme infections especially those with lymearthritis or neuroborrelias. It is a top notch herb to use when targeting arthritis, muscle pain, and fatigue.
With chronic infections and viral loads common to Lymies, Cat's Claw has demonstrated normalization of the immune response. I started using Cat's Claw due to this very fact. I had good and bad days, but the good days are starting to out number the bad days by a large margin. Where as once I was not able to do anything, I am now at least functioning at about 80%. I pulse a lot of my herbs, but the Cat's Claw has been a longer pulse than the others. Some caution about long term use of Cat's Claw and I believe it may be due to the tannins it contains. I have just finished a three month rotation of CC and have stopped. I plan to take a break and will restart this particular herb in another rotation in a month.

Grady, With all the herbs I use for two of us, I couldn't afford the Raintree. I buy my Cat's Claw in bulk from MountainRoseHerbs in the powdered form and encapsulate it myself. I was using "0" capsules, but I can never remember the sizes and purchased the "00" and am quite happy with them and the herbs I purchase from RMH. John Blue Skies speaks very highly of Raintree herbs and Sue Nassie has written the research for the herbs on the site. It is one of the first places I go when I need refreshers. I started with the powdered forms because the tinctures are more potent. I was concerned that starting with the more potent form would not leave me enough leeway to go up in potency or dose with the budget I am working with. I am and have been having wonderful results with Cat's Claw powder. I recently started another rotation and stopped the Cat's Claw and in its place am using Olive Leaf Powder in bulk form and encapsulating it with my other herbs and vites for this month long rotation. I am currently doing this as it seems to really kick Bartonella butt. A few weeks ago I had posted about my son's purple rivers disappearing. I was able to determine it was the olive leaf powder. I am also mixing it in our tea detox mix as well. Pretty high doses, but we are sure enjoying its kick. Also don't forget about the Graviola as well. John Blue Skies protocol is kickin! Take Care Grady!!! Frito

One can check out but we can never truly leave Hey-o Carrie, If I could just whip this crippling fibro I'd be doing good. I told my wife, hey, look at Billy Coche the baseball pitchure, he was the #1 relief pitchure in the baseball, came down with Morgellons in two years he was out of baseball. Now Joni Mitchell has put her career on hold due to Morgellons. So, I tell me wife, look, she's rich, you gotta be pretty damn sick not to be able to cut an album, cause she has plenty of money, can work at her own pace and so on, she's a star after all. Now look at me, sick as a freakin dog, but I drag my butt out of bed everyday, I tell her, which isn't easy and I go to my 8 to 5 like a good little industrial wage slave. Same for you I'm sure Carrie cause we both have kids. I do it because I have to, and I'm sure so many others do around here as well. So I made myself a promise, no matter how sick I get I'm going to provide for my family, now it's like a grudge match, me vs morgs in the ultimate cage fight to the death, and so far I'm proving pretty hard to kill.

Grady,
Oregano and GSE together is a potent anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. The die-off you may be going through could be quite a bit. Please remember to detox, fiber to soak up all those toxins created by the die-off, and don't forget to replace the good bacteria you are also probably killing off too. Olive Leaf is very potent by itself and will do the same things to good bacteria as it does to bad and also Candida.
And sarsaparilla, good stuff too.

Can you get all these things at the health food store or do you have to order them online? Also, is Graviola and GSE the same thing? I'm confused today.
Sure glad to hear you're feelin something good ibzahp... hope it continues for you!

Dearest Bannanny flea bombs do help!!!!!! I put them in my wardrobe, linen cupboard hot water cupoard, bedroom and lounge. They are expensive when you buy so many but I do it once a month. And I can promise you that if you have a bath with a litre of bleach in it and soak in in it for at least 15 that will also help soak you scalp and hair in it comb it through and leave it on for at least 15 minutes. 12 years ago I was sooooo very very sick with this or these things and this helped me immensely I soak Kyras leash and collar in bleach also as I know that these things breed in her coat. I get her paddling in sea water and all these things appear out of her coat if you don't want to use bleach in the bath put in copious amounts of salt that will also work. Another thing that helps lesions and itching is the sap from thwe ale vera plant. I have probably told you this over and over again. I am sorry if I am repeating myself. I just want to help you and everyone on the board. Much love and hugs. Robbie

Oh Robbie, you're such a sweet, kind, and caring person. I know you want to help everyone... and you do. You give alot of great advice and you shine thru this place with your perserverence too. I am concerned about you using so much bleach tho. It's a chemical that gets absorbed thru the skin and scalp... I know I've told you this already, but your body doesn't need to be absorbing such a harsh chemical sweetie, especially with you having morgellons. So just try to cut back with it ok? I mean a little won't hurt you, but it is a chemical and morgs love chemicals.
big hugs ~~ bannanny

I believe in the Cat's Claw and the clove. When I used it, I did get better. Wish I would have never stopped. I had both the TOA Free and regular. I think the TOA free did better but it really is much more expensive and probably not worth the added cost.
When I buy more, I will get it from Rain Tree where JWF bought his.
Also, the book "healing Lyme" by Stephen Buhner is excellent with descriptions on many of the herbs for this condition.
