Big story on the news today. The man who shot the pastor to death yesterday in church has chronic Lyme Disease. The story is that he has brain lesions and had been treated so aggressively for Lyme that he almost died. Second time in a month that "Lyme rage" is national news. It feels like things are heating up. Bessie

www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/03/10/church.shooting/index.html"A spokesman for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday that mental illness associated with Lyme disease is highly unusual, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America said Lyme disease "is not known to cause violent behavior." But a study published in 2002 in the American Journal of Psychiatry and carried out in the Czech Republic found that 36 percent of 900 psychiatric subjects had antibodies to the bacterium linked to Lyme disease, versus 18 percent of 900 healthy control subjects." Look how high the percentage is.. Is lyme real? Is it not? Is it mental illness? Is it not? So now it's about mental illness and not the disease. Needs to be about the disesae and what the disease can do to a peson??.......... Sounds like another disease I am aquainted with.. Unbelievable.... Where do they get these spokes people? Which side of the fence are they on for Christ sake? Oh Brother............
