This specimen is so tiny.
It's next to the side of a penny.
It's smaller than a granule of sugar.
Watch when I scrape it with the needle (EGGS expell) from it, it appears!
And here's the real give away....the dart thing is almost barbed.
That is how it's anchored into the skin, by that pointed end with the barb like sides.
I wonder what kind of "thing" has like a sharp barbed like point and that holds eggs. This might be a good clue...I don't know.
PS...this thing snapped my skin when I plucked it out with the tweezers.

Here's that little dart beginning to dry out. I have it on the penny where the date 2000 is. You can see it's smaller than the zero's on the penny. This sucker is as strong as can be, because it didn't break when I plucked it hard. And it's point is very sharp. These are the infamous triangles I keep seeing.

Look at this! This is from the Monachoides Vicinus SNAIL. They call these LOVE DARTS.100% seriously REAL, and they shoot these "LOVE DARTS WITH EGG SAC INTO THE OTHER SNAIL" (THE LOVE DARTS) FROM .5 MM TO 30 MM IN SIZE- which I think would be approx an INCH long (is that right?) That is VERY tiny to VERY large, and they HURT. They're hard, some made of calcium, some of cartilage. They have egg sacs attached TOO! Be back with one that is like mine.

Here's a pic from Wiki ( I think, which I'll post the links momentarily) but this is with the egg sac attached to the DARTS.

And if the snail ( of many species ) isn't the culprit of the "darts" that are hard cartilage like that we have, then what I think I've learned from this is that there ARE species that SHOOT darts and they range in size from extremely tiny darts to large darts.
Thought this might shed some light as many of us have picked out these painful darts.

toni, I have wondered for a long time about the snails. There were some cloned that morph. They were released, and I do believe they came into Great lakes from ballasts on ships. I have seen the shells of these all over Lake Michigan and other lakes as well. There are some .. Hylleberg, I. (1986) Distribution of hydrobiid snails. and there are these which morph. some related to the New Zeeland mud snail. this is interesting: which direction do the creatures coil? other95.blogspot.com/2007/09/one-snail-species-prefers-to-do-it-anti.htmlback to the morphing dart snail? skytroll

Thank you Sky.
There's many species of these too, and who knows, but the finding out (that these shoot darts that are toxic) RANG bells with me for sure, because I got wondering, since many of us have felt that SHARP needle like stab, and so many have found different sizes of these darts, SOMETHING IS making them.
And in reading too...these use a "mucusy slime" when they shoot the darts out of their body too.
I know this sounds wild, but we have darts to prove it, that "something" has to be making them, and nothing we're taking as far as every parasitical available rids them.
So...I'll dig into this lots more, and thanks again.

Can a snail live in the human body and do those eggs spread in the environment?
Yours looks like it's definitely spreading it's goo around... that's quite the specimen there toni. Where did you pull it out from... and did you put anything on your skin before hand? Also, what did you feel before you realized something was there?

Bannanny,
Everything for over the last year has come from (my one lesion) that has a tunnel.
I can see right inside the tunnel. It branches 3 directions.
All I do daily is dab yog/milk mix ontop the tunnel surface (top of my skin) and hundreds of "egg looking things and larvae" come up and out of the DEEP tunnel.
When I dab, it's like I'm "plunging" the hole, if you know what I mean.
After ALL the stuff (eggs/larvae) hair, fibers, particles are out (just for the day)...then I can see clearly, this is a tunnel made by some kind of critter. I don't know what kind for sure, as I do believe there are several kinds that we might be infected/infested with.
There's so many different species of slugs and snails (which I'm thinking "slugs") and they SHOOT DARTS, and that now IS what I believe I have in my tunnel.
I don't believe (slugs) are the "crux" though. I think something we have been contaminated with is what attracts them and makes us like the living dead (sorry to say that) but it's what I think.
The next day (the tunnel is again full of more things), and I just keep cleaning it out.
These "dart things" are hard and sharp, like a fingernail would feel.
I have to take tweezers to pluck them out because they are anchored into the skin (inside the tunnel wall).

Thanks Jen! What do you think? ? Look at the pattern on the side of the SLUG and Barbs specimen! I was looking at "gastropods" which are snails and slugs, because of the darts I'm getting out of my lesion, which snails and slugs shoot calcious darts! And then I found this sucker, it's a pic of a slug, which looks just like CTBarbs specimen!!! (I just posted this too on a new thread so Barb doesn't miss it) Look at that pattern of the slug's side of it's body, then look at Barbs specimen! Do those appear to be a match or what? Here's the link for that picture I found of that slug that looks like Barbs specimen! animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu/si....2.jpg/view.html

Jen what a fantastic picture of the SLUG's DART! Yes, that's it! And in one of my links above there are many different shapes to these darts too, and they can be very tiny and hard as bone, or very large too! Snails and Slugs shoot them out! Thank you Jen for the fantastic picture of this!

Yes, those are incredible! I know many have talked about (the darts), which I sure have too. And they're hard as bone and sharp, and I kept wondering how on earth "those sharp" elongated triangles got inside my lesion tunnel (not that this is certain) but, it's worth really investigating. Something else, there's (sea slugs too) that are abundant in the water, (ranging in size) and they look just like slugs too. They're called: Pleurobranchs www.seaslugforum.net/display.cfm?id=10207And these come in all colors and sizes too. And nudibranchs - which are ALSO shell-less slug looking creatures.

Excellant video, toni. That is amazing. I have often had this be one of my "theories" as to what it could be, for me at least. But, I had no idea that slugs and snails had these darts. I have mentioned before on this site that I have seen several of what I was calling arrows coming out of the tunnels of "hairs" that I have pulled because they were moving so wildly I wanted to get a look at what was causing it. Mine have always been dark, though. I will try and get a picture.
But, the reason I always wondered about the possibility of this being the cause, is the fact that I had a business many years ago making shell craft designs. I spent hours combing the beach looking for unusual shells. Some were quite tiny. I used a glue gun and I wondered if, perhaps, I literally glued some eggs to me and if that is actually living in me. They would have been so tiny that I wouldn't have even seen them. I also used to work in the garden all the time and we are quite prone to slugs here in the Pacific NW, so maybe that?
But, then we come back to the fact that there are so many different things coming off of us. The colored fibers, egg sac looking things, the black arrows, the ~~~~~ lines, the clear fibers on and on.
Anyway, toni, great great video of that dart. I want to say 'unbelievable', but I think it all is!

Jen BTW, I remembered the name I was looking for I don't know if this fits but the picture matched your one real weird specimen you found on your sheets, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinorhyncha

Wow, that sure enough does look like Barb's specimen! That's a dam good match I'd say! The dart in the pic above looks just like the gel when it elongates too... if it's even a gel. That's just been how I've been seeing it... but that's what it looks like anyway. Also, some of the stuff that comes outta my feet look like goopy dark brown pods. They look alot like that slug the dart's comin out of too. I'll be gettin my scope soon, I'm curious to see what they look like under magnification now.
This is kinda weird, but last night when I was trying to get the goo to stop comin outta my hands, I felt one of those glass-like things in my finger. I pushed on it and then hit my finger real hard with my other hand and saw a tiny transparent globby lookin thing fall into the sink. I looked at it with my magnifier and it looked just like what's in your video toni... I swear it did. But I've never seen one like that before. I thought well sh*t... this looks familiar to me and then I remembered your video. I got back on the board after awhile to check, and sure enough... they're pretty much identical. Just like those fibers we both had... the one you did a video of doin the back bend as it reacted to the water, remember? That one and mine could've been identical twins.
This is gettin interesting toni. I don't think slugs might actually be the actual crux of morgellons, but we probably have many co-infections goin on becuz of it. Then again, who knows eh? Good stuff girl!
